No more traveling for hours to some other country for those poor girls. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Have Case Number through NVC	Okay guys... so I just got through to the NVC... spoke with a very nice lady... gave her my CSC reciept number... and she said that NVC had received our petition TODAY... and she gave me the NVC case number... Okay... i am so excited now... will you guys please help me with the next step? Of course, I will receive all correspondence through my attorney... but, I am hoping that I have everything in order... 1) Have original NOA1 & NOA2 (will get that from attorney) 2) Tax transcripts for 3 years 3) NEW letter of intent 4) Got co-sponsor (just in case... don't think I will need it tho...) 5) Will get letter from my bank What else? US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Interview denied	I found out that on the denial form the officer marked "other" checkbox for the reason for denial and wrote no comments. first of all, all is not lost..it is not a denial but a motion to return to the usa for possible review of the application...i went through this with sanita..she got 221g for not knowing enough about my past...i emailed them why (cultural/religious) and contacted the director, jeffrey by phone..need to call them and e-mail the consulate allot...also, tell them you come there and meet with them... almaty can be reasoned with..i be through this and be glad to offer my assistance..pm me./.deam	almaty	Male	Kazakhstan	2006-04-20 15:49:00

Looking at your timeline, it looks like consulate changed their decision in just one week. Didn't they sent the documents back to US? Did you writeto their general address ConsularAlmaty@state.gov or you contacted someone specific? i was able to get them to change their mind with 2 emails..and a call to jeffrey, the consul director...they gave sanita a form with 221g ...on it was written return to usa...it is similar but they never snet it back due to my explanation and her honesty was not in question, just that her believes made it ahrd for her to answet their questions...i emailed almaty at the general address and called the # listed on the consul..they only answer emails and take calls certain days..i think tuesday and thursday..good luck..keep me in the loop dean	almaty	Male	Kazakhstan	2006-04-21 11:09:00

Have used it since 2001 to call the Philippines and have yet to have a problem. Unlike most calling cards you get the minutes you pay for, no connection or maintance fees. (split topic)	when you stop lol'ing -  note that it's possible for the Petitioner to attend the interview there at Manila IV.   It's a crapshoot - you'll be told either to sit down during the Vice-Consul's time with the Beneficiary,  or you'll be standing up and having a conversation with the Vice-Consul.    Really depends on the Vice-Consul the beneficiary gets that day, as well as the mood of the Vice-Consul.       Edited by Darnell, 13 July 2014 - 12:19 AM. Ministry of Interior Egypt ?   Usually it's personnel from the US Embassy /Cairo that do this work.   So - I would be suspect about this - unless somehow the IV Unit in Cairo has asked for help from the Egyptian Ministry of Interior to help out with the backlog of inspections coming from the backlong of casefiles that occurred due to the IV Unit being closed there due to the civil unrest.   anyway - that's my wild guess.  With it and a roll of toilet paper - one can handle one's business.
