US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	date format for K-1 visa interview	hi, my name is dave. i am a K-1 applicant my question is, i have been informed that in the interview, i have to give dates in the american format. is this correct? do i really have to stand there and work it all out in my head before speaking? only because i have also been told that pausing and floundering around is a bad thing to do. im afraid im not the smartest sandwich in the lunchbox so any advice on this would be most welcome. dave	dave0992	Male	United Kingdom	2009-08-22 17:30:00
