K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Question concerning NOA2	The NOA2 is needed in ther process later on. I had to show it at my interview, and you need it for your AOS. You don't need the email, just the one you got in the mail. It says I797 Notice of Action on it. That you'll need. I think it's pretty easy to get a replacement if you never got your either. As long as you have your passport and your AP and the approval was when you were out of the country the officer at POE should not have a problem as you will show up as approved on their system... I am very sorry if this hurts your feelings but you are illegally in a country that is not your own, which has had terrorism. Your country harbors terrorist and it is scrutinize by the U.S. and other countries that are tired of cowardly terrorist who kill men, women, kids, and who ever they can kill. How do you expect to get a visa into the U.S.? You either have to start doing things legally or think of living in another country with your fiancée. The not sending the G325A is correct but the rest could vary from Embassy to Embassy. The OP should call/email their Embassy to be sure of what they need for their interview (if they have not received these instructions in a package from the Embassy already or are unclear about them). K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Packet 3 in Canada	First thing you do is fill out and send back by fax form DS-230 Part I right away so you could look up that form The checklist has on it, Passport (must have 6 months validity beyond issuance of visa date) Medical examination, we did send our checklist back in with only the medical exam booked, not yet completed (we just needed the case number to do this) Birth certificate, make sure it is long form with parents names on them Police certificate Court and prison records 5 passport type photos (3 of these are used at the medical), sign your full name on the back of each Divorce and death certificates for either or both you and your fiance if applicable Evidence of support along with the I-134 Evidence of relationship You will be asked to provide them with a day you prefer for an interview appointment. We got the one we asked for which was only a couple weeks from the day we sent in the checklist so make sure you do have all the required documents before the day you request. If she hasn't been to the US, there is no record, so stick to the story. Consistency is the name of the game with the USCIS, however, once identified that a "mistake" has been made, better to deal with it now than have to make up even more later, or worse, be denied indefinately. They are doing back ground checks and until they are finished they cannot issue a visa. Time can be anywhere from days, weeks, or months.
