Philippines	Case complete to interview date	after the nvc notified my husband that my case is complete, we received the notice for  my interview date and time after 1 week. the schedule of interview stated in the notice is approximately 1 month from date of completion of documents in the nvc. im under IR1 CATEGORY     09/3/2013-  DATE OF INTERVIEW 07/31/2013- RECEIVED THE APPOINTMENT LETTER FOR INTERVIEW 07/26/2013- CASE IS DONE IN THE NVC   hope this will help. Philippines	IR2- expedited case--documents needed?	Hi everyone!    Good day!    my husband and i requested for expeditious processing of our daughter's IR2 case in the nvc this 8th of august. after paying the AOS then paying the visa fee, the nvc expedite dept approved our case and forwarded my daughter's case to us embassy manila. I will be going for my interview this sept.3 and we are hoping we can set the appointment for my daughter with the same date as mine.   now my concerns are the following:   1. what are the documents i need to prepare for her for her interview? 2. Philippines	Credit report	Was it original or did he scan and send it to you just curious I'm at NVC stage now and wanting to know I scanned everything I sent and sent it via email for her to print off and take with her seems strange that you send everything to NVC then they send to embassy and they ask for another copy from her at the interview    No..everything my husband sent me were all scanned copies.. Philippines	Credit report	they dont ask for credit report.... only your petitioner's income tax return.. make sure to bring ur petitioner's 1 yr recent income tAX return just incase ..   in my case even though we submitted everything in the nvc...they still ask my husband's recent income tax copy.. Philippines	No more available open slots under Sept. & Oct.	hi just had my daughter's appointment scheduled! they have a slot for september 24 now.... i do hope i can still have an earlier schedule than sept 24...but now its the earliest.... it shows that the first available appointment schedule is October 30, 2013 but when i opened the calendar...they have september 24,2013 slot open... Philippines	any fees/charge at embassy?	oh, sayang naman.. pero saakin walang hiningi na ds260,sept 5 ako ininterview.. hahaha excited talaga kc tagal na process toh, mukhang hindi madedeliver, gabi na eh.. kaw talaga mali mali ka hehe.. dame mo pa time para mag ready sis.. sa akin din noong sept 3...walang hiningi na ds260..ewan ko ba... bakit ayaw nila tanggapin kanina yung ds230 ng anak ko..dapat ds260 na..   baka bukas ng umaga na nila idedeliver yung visa packet mo.. yah sis nabasa ko na .. I think you can use that when you want to process your papers online.. something like that..Im not sure but sis to make sure fill up ka na rin ng DS 260 just in case na tanungin ka, atleast meron ka na.. tama...iba pa rin yung completo yung dala mo... ewan ko ba bakit nakaligtaan ko yang bagong announcement nila...   kaya tuloy napurnada plano namin,,, 2Go texted me 3 times this day that they will deliver the visa today. but till now wala pa. antay ka lang ......idedeliver din yan.... excited ka ha,...   ang importante tapos kana cfo nalang incase.. Hehehe but sis bakit yun friend ko dito sa vj interview nya kahapon hindi naman daw sya tinanung tungkol sa ds261.. Approved pa nga visa nya eh kaya nga eh nakakapagtaka bakit ikaw di pina resched... Naguguluhan ako hehehehe im sorry pero yun kasi kanina ang hiningi sa amin ehh...then yung girl na kasama ko din under CR1 category yun din ang hinihingi sa kanya...   walang DS261 TALAGA...-DI ITO HININGI   ang hiningi kanina is DS260.. Philippines	any fees/charge at embassy?	they never ask me about Ds230.. instead during my interview to pilipino consulate asked me to fill out some missing info. to my ds230 and asked to signed the part 2 of that form. when they implemented the ds260? my interview was on sept 5 im sorry if nakigulo ako..hehehehe..   my daughter was scheduled today 09.11.13 for an IR2 visa category and we were asked to fill up the new form DS260 Online na...kasi yung sa anak ko is ds230 yung gamit namin...kasi noong sept 3, yun ang gamit ko...ds230...pero kanina...ds260 na hinahanap sa anak ko..same sa kasama kong babae (CR1) na she was asked nung sept 4 to resched and bring the new form too...kaya kanina bumalik xa and brought the new form   the girl from usem asked us to reschedule our interview and bring the new form... Ayaw ko kase mgparesched eh because im planning to leave in the phil on october 10.. yes..better mas ready ka kesa sa pabalik balik ka sa usem which is very irritating....the interview was easy.only the pre-interview with the filipina that complicates everything kasi andaming tanong..pero ok naman kasi para prepared ka din sa itatanong ng consul....pero sa consul....everything is so smooth....   alam mo bang sobrang banas ako kanina!!! imagine we are set to leave Phils on sept 28...pero i guess we need to reschedule our flight....the earliest sched for appointment na nakuha ko is sept 24...hayyy...   visa delivery kung walang problema is 7 to 10 working days...mine i got 7 days after my interview... My interview is on oct 1 i dont think you need to fill up the ds261 since you are done with the nvc process..   ds261- is choice of address and agent...you dont need this.   what you need is the ds260 ....YES YOU NEED to fill it up then print it out then read it again since they are so strict on this.   make sure to read the instructions...   in the given names: you should put your middle name in there too.. HI po! i would like to let you know that they dont accept ds230 anymore... instead you have to fill up online using ds-260 now...   i set an appointment last sept 4 for an interview today 08/11/2013 for my daughter under IR2 visa category and when we were in the embassy they asked me to reschedule her appointment and fill up the ds260 online since they dont allow you now to use ds230..   i didnt know at first that they strictly implement this now since i just had my IR1 interview last sept 3,2013 and got approved using ds230 form..   just want to let you know since i dont want you to reschedule again and wait for an earliest appoinment schedule which will delay EVERYTHING! Philippines	DS 260	My daughter got approved today after a long wait in the embassy!  Hahahahaha..i thought we will be going to have an another delay since we used I-864 affidavit of support to our daughter...instead of I-864w.. the Filipina Initial interviewer was so nice and accomodating, she let me sign the new form i-864w (should be signed by the petitioner).  She just told me " goodluck if the consul will accept it....."   And thank God...the Consul was so cool that he let me read the oath by myself...(i can hear other applicants laughting at the back)... and interchange my name to my daughter's....and call me by my husband's name....hahahaha..that was the most stressfree interview.... that the Consul took into consideration our AOS...   thank you to all of u... Philippines	DS 260	Sheesh, that's ridiculous. Was it in the instructions? I hope they don't start surprising K-1 interviewees with that. Ours is next month, and I spent a grand just to fly to Manila next month to be with her at the interview. I wasn't able to read the new announcement under immigrant visa section about the new form since I just had my interview...so I just prepared the documents of my daughter the way I prepared mine.... Philippines	DS 260	On my DS260, I put my mother's name at birth, as it was asked on the DS230.   Ano ba yan.  That's what I asked them in the embassy a while ago...I told them that I am comparing the ds230 and ds260 while filling up the ds260 online....I asked them that in ds230 they are asking the mothers name at birth while in ds260 it doesn't have any instruction if it's at birth or not....they said whatever your mothers information that she is using right now...that is the info u will put in ds260	Domitila	Not Telling	Philippines	2013-09-12 00:55:00

Philippines	DS 260	I just called the us embassy someone might get confused in filling up under Family information: Mother's Surnames: should be the married name na ( as info appearing in her passport) Mother's given names: her name and her family name Oh okie. Thats a relief. Thank you! I am printing the ds 260 and checking it again and again...since this is online...one mistake might cause a lot of delays...l Also, make sure you have a hard copy of ds 260 and it's confirmation page.... Philippines	DS 260	Yes and due to stupidity I didn't include my middle name after my given name and I submitted it already so I won't be able to edit it by now. For me, yesterday after doing it online and the lady from embassy checked it in their system....they didn't accept it..lthey asked me to check it again and edit my daughter's info...so I did edit all her Infos last night... Philippines	DS 260	HI we went to usem today for my daughter's interview.... i had my interview last sept 3 and used ds-230 and got approved under ir1 visa   now, i had my daughter's ds 230 ready and when we were there they asked me to register online for the ds260 after completing her ds260...the lady told me that i need to put the middle name of my daughter in the given names... then the lady ask me to reschedule my daughter's appointment since i need to put the middle name only...   just because of the middle name....i had to reschedule her appointment!!!! wow, they aren't that considerate enough!
