IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsI-130

My husband is an american U.S citizen, he says that the USCIS need to update his biometric record, i am just being confuse regarding that, based on my husband history his ex-wife filed a case against him, the case was about to touch/malicious his own adopted child (ex-wife child) and exwife makes other issues against my husband that not true. So the court favor to him regarding the allegation but still he has the record already., but this case was closed way back after over 14-15 yrs. It just that im worried if this affecting our papers.. We been calling hotline of USCIS but they keep saying to wait cos the papers is still under backgroound check, i keep asking my husband to do something else action but he says we just need to wait, but you know waiting is so tiring, do u have any idea can may can help for our application?? Thank you very much.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsI-130

 Hi To All!

My husband and  I got married 2009 then we filed I-130 last MArch 23, 2012 then USCIS recieved March 27, 2012, after a month April 24, 2012 USCIS emailed us that our papers transferred to Vermont Service Center then just recently my husband from U.S just done his Biometric May 2013, everytime i checked online it always shows "INITIAL REVIEWS" this really worrying me so much we completely submit the requirements so i really dont know whats the problem why until this time we dont hear anything from USCIS yet, just imagine how long we been waiting for this journey and yet we dont hear anything. Is there anyone has same situation with mine?? I hope to hear and get help from JV members thanks a lot.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reportsstill waiting my NOA2 (merged)

Jennybateman, actually you are not alone, we are also filed IR-1/CR-1 visa and up to this time we didnt recieved yet for NOA2, but last month of May my 2013 husband did his Biometric then after that we never hear anything yet, it is more frustrating for me/us cos my application takes almost 16months now, sometimes i get frustrated and upset to my husband blaming about the processing of our papers which is according to him it is not his control we really dont have any idea about whats going on, i've been trying to search online saw the site saying it is usually takes up to 18 months which is im waiting up to that number of months will come, i really dont know what to do if it will exceed 18months, for sure it would be hopeless, I honestly tell you if im not having kid and recently preggy for our second baby that making me busy for my daily routine i will tell you for sure that i will be get crazy, will even 'm busy playing around with my kid i still cant control my eagerness to be with my husband and cause to argue sometimes. His been trying to contact USCIS also but nothing is changes, i have my computer on daily so everyday im checking my status on USCIS website that driving me nuts. I will be giving birth this coming September and my hubby will coming home so i am thinking to slowdown worrying so much about my papers i am in fucos to our coming baby this time and will be busy again for the Citizenship for our 2nd Angel. If there is anything that will have new news about ur papers would you mind to update me pls?? Thanks
