good.gif Nice to hear that NSO printer your DV...USEM should have your DV Oct 10, and maybe is being reviewed at the same day if not next week...if no issue you should be getting your VISA this week... Good Luck, and Good Bless

Hi ArtGirl,

I called PJ again this afternoon and he told me that my BC and MC have been printed yesterday because he asked my verifier to prioritize it. He said that my docs will be ready for pick-up by the embassy representative Friday so, I'll be calling Lorraine/Grace on Monday. I'm just hoping that PJ really did it and didnt just tell me that for me to stop calling him, hehehe...

But anyways, we'll see if my docs move from NSO to US Embassy...

My husband was so happy hearing the progress though I told him it's not yet time to rejoice...

Thanks for all your help.

I just called Delbros today and accdg to Richard, my docs have been forwarded to NSO Aug 20th (the day after I paid) and he has confirmed this to me about 4x at different instances so, I think he's pretty sure.

So then I called NSO and was able to talk to PJ. He confirmed that my docs are still with them for verification. I begged him to follow-up the verification process of my docs since it's been there almost two months. I told him that according to the US Embassy docs verification takes 1-4 weeks so, I asked why this happened, my docs have been there 7 weeks. He said that "sometimes it happens" then he came up with an alibi that my name might be too common and the verifier is having a hard time locating and verifying my docs. So then I said, when I requested for my BC and MC from NSO online, it was delivered to me in three days so, I wonder why this happened now. he was left tongue-tied and just closed by asking my maiden name and committed that he'll follow it up with my docs' verifier....

If they USEM forwarded your DV request to NSO last week why that late? Maybe they have not heard from NSO so maybe they are just doing a follow up. Its been over 4 weeks now USEM should have heard/rcvd the DV from NSO.ou try to call the NSO ask for PJ he is willing to give information. If USEM have not rcv your DV nothing you can do. Try to put pressure to NSO but then its up to NSO also when to release your DV. If you call NSO just inquire the status of your DV its been more than 4 weeks make sure when you call you have the date when Delbros forwarded the request to NSO they may ask the date. I agree why its taking this long...I know how you feel my fiancee lost some sleep and lost her appitite to eat for two week after her interview. She thought se did bad in the interview. I was trying to encaurage her that she did fine and wait 4 week she should get her VISA which I was right.

Try to call NSO for status, everything is depend on them. Just be patient, and pray...time will come when God permits.

What Delbros told me was they forwarded my DV payment/request to the US Embassy the following day after paying and it's the Embassy which will forward my docs to NSO for verification...

Lorraine of US Embassy told me last Friday that they have forwarded my docs for verification to NSO but it hasn't been returned yet...I asked when was it forwarded to NSO and she told me it's not indicated on my file...She also told me that the only thing I can do now is wait....

My husband and I have been so stressed about this coz I am dying to go back to work...he requested me not to work anymore coz he was very positive that the visa will arrive soon...Now, I am going bananas bec I cannot stand not working....It's been two months since he asked me to quit my job....=(

I'm quite new here...

Hi ArtGirl, we got the same thing going...I received pink and whie slips after my interview on September 4th...No need to submit any other docs and they said it's just for DV but it will take awhile...When I checked shipment tracking from Delbros, it still says SHIPMENT IN PROCESS AT THE EMBASSY and the date it says is my interview date...

I paid for DV August 19, before my interview and right after texting Delbros same day I received a confirmation/acknowledgement. I called Delbros and they informed me that they already forwarded to the Embassy my DV request on Aug. 20th but during my interview on the pre-screening section, I was asked if I already paid for DV and i said yes and the embassy representative asked for my proof of deposit and got the only copy of the deposit slip I have...

I just called the US Embassy today and got to talk to Lorraine. She said that my docs have been forwarded to NSO and it hasn't been returned yet to the embassy. She also said that the only thing I can do now is wait...

Well, I know it's been hanging us and waiting really sucks....I actually missed my first anniversary with my husband and I couldn't travel anywhere too bec my passport is still with them...My husband couldn't believe that this process takes so long...He was already very hopeful after my interview when I told him my CO told me that she didn't see any problem at all...My husband even doubted that I already got the visa I just didnt want to tell him because he knew I was half-hearted at leaving my career, my family and my life here...

This is a testing stage for all of us...It almost tore my marriage apart hadn't it been for my husband's faith and patience...We were so stressed, I guess...cos it really is stressing...I actually decided on not leaving anymore...

Now, like what Lorraine said, there's nothing we can do but wait so, I leave it up to HIM...Believe that EVERYTHING HAPPENS AT THE RIGHT TIME...

We'll hear from Delbros tomorrow or early next week...TRUST!!!

I would like to hear from anybody that had pink and white slip with just "Wait till you hear from us" nothing else. Please post your experience and how long before you got your VISA.

Read your post...paid DV Aug 19 then forwarded to NSO Aug 20. I think you need to double check with Delbros if you need to call, text, or email them when they actually submitted the DV request to NSO. I have not seen Delbros submitted a request the next day you paid them, average days are 3-7 days. After you get the actual date submitted to NSO count 3-4 weeks then start calling USEM every Monday to get status if they rcvd your DV. After rcving your DV should only take 1-2 week to release your VISA. Dont count on the Delbros web site on status, my fiancee rcvd her VISA but she did not get any text from delbros and the web site did not get updated two days later after my fiancee rcvd her VISA.

Just be patient... I was in the same boat...I was being impatient now I know, mostly reading other post the average time after interview rcving pink and white slip is 4 weeks. Expect your visa maybe this week or next week.

Good luck...

PhilippinesINTERVIEW TODAY IS DONE!
QUOTE (gabrielle08 @ Aug 5 2008, 12:32 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
I'm Really relief after all that we've been through..a lot of things in mind..

Marissacdo offered me to stay in her hotel room..(maris..I won't forget you) miss yah gurl..

It's really nice that you have company and not to be alone going to usem.

First..I didn't sleep well..and around 4am we woke up and getting ready to go and had a nice breakfast at Mcdo then went to the USEM.

we've been rain though..hehehhe..

first...finger scanning.then wait for awhile..

I think i went to the famous pre-screener guy here in vj..he is so nice and he kept smiling on me and making some joke..here is the question

what is your name.....
my petitioner name
when and how did you meet him?
he ask me what is my work in taiwan
and how long ive been there
and he ask about my signature too small

then he ask for my nbi, birth certificate, my old passport, affidavit of support, email, chat, letters.picture and some remittance slip

and he's making joke again with me about the advertisement of Cebuana lhuillier and we laugh on it..
Back to the seat and wait for the consul interview

well , I think my consul was the same with Higanteteting (jhen dei) she is young, pretty and has a serious face

then she called my name and ask again my name..hehehhehe
after making me swear ..she started to ask me a few question

who is my petitioner name and how do i call him?
when and where did i meet him
and how long he stay here and why he is too short..then i said that he has a limited vacation from work.

what the name of his ex- wife? when the marriage was ended
why he filed for divorce
and how long ive been work in taiwan and what is my job there
does he has a kid....none
do you have a kid....none
what is his job? what is the nature of his company
If im the only one his going to support..yes..

then suddenly she never ask question and browsing her computer and look at my docs and our picture and screenshots..then she scribble on a paper and wrote something on it..

She says..'everything is fine and you can go and wait outside to call your name and there is also a verification for your documents follow up by saying 'thank you' so in returned i politely telling her how pretty she was and she smiled for me and she said' thank you'while giving me back our pictures, email, screen shot and remittance receipt.

so i went to the blue chair nearby the window 37 to wait for my name ..

He gave my old passport, got a pink slip and white slip 'saying ' wait until you hear from us" and the guy told me to wait for that..

I went to the delbros and paid 250 for the visa delivery fee.

and i think maris will be the one to share her experience too ..

We met at tokyo tokyo ..Russelmarie, IVory.kandi usa..and pink.

I called the USEM and talk to grace this afternoon and I ask about my docs..and she told me that my docs verification is not yet done and we have to wait after two weeks for the result. And she advise me that my fiance will be the one to call next time to follow up..

So for those who are got white slip..there is nothing to be worried bec your docs verification is not yet done by the nso and after they will forward to USEM they going to review it again and finalize it for the visa process.

If you think that there is no problem about your status..there is nothing to be afraid of..

I am so glad that I'm done with and I'm praying too that evrything is gonna be alright.

Thanks to all VJ member who are very supportive to give us some idea and for the help for so many question here..MABUHAY!

You've mention above about your experience with the white slip "Wail till you hear from us" and they returned your passport.
My fiancee interview today she got white slip also "Wail till you hear from us" but they did not return her passport.

It means that your visa is still "in process" in the USEM. They might be printing your visa at that time.

My side..I met Derek last week of April 2007 and he was separated early March. He visited me September 9-16,2007 and the divorce was finalized September 11,2007. Apparently he was with me that time in the Philippines. We filed the petition February 11,2008. Over all.... he was still legally married when we first met in person. Thank God I am here in the US now.
The CO didn't even questioned me anything about that way back June 5,2008 in USEM. I can't see anything wrong with your situation. I saw a lot of similar cases with you "AR" lately posted here in VJ..some didn't got any pink or white slip..some were asked to returned in 2nd day... Who knows? perhaps USEM lately is being strict again.

I will be praying with the status of your visa. Hope everything will be fine. As long as the passport wasn't returned thats a good sign.

I'm very positive...its my fiancee she is thinking that she was denied...but kept telling her NO! pink slip means approved and white slip slight delay receiving your visa for more documents review. Now she doesn't have appetite to eat all I can do is laugh and trying to comfort her not to worry too much everything is all good.
But the CO doesn't know when I separated...and on the divorce decree it doesn't mention when the divorce was submitted. The CO could be just looking at the divorce when it was final.

I'm not being negative here...I'm just looking at the worse case. If this is the case I'm prepared to write a letter to the CO explain my side.

Thanks for all the infos and encouragements...

The CO who interviewed me didn't know when my hubby was separated too.. Same thing the CO just looked on my hubby's divorced final decree too and the fact that he was with me during that time should be a big questioned too, isn't it?

Always be positive man..everything will be fine. You don't need to explain your side to the CO I believed, unless they want you to do so.

Keep the Faith!

According my fiancee she noticed that the CO having some facial expression when start looking at my divorce and the dates.

Here is my side...my divorce was filled 05/2006 and finalized 12/31/2007. I submitted the K1 petition 02/25/2008. Maybe the one in questions I'm still legally married while going out with my fiancee.

Those who received pink slip and white slip please text or do online to delbros ask for status I just want to see survey if every one got the same status "SHIPMENT IS IN PROCESS IN THE EMBASSY" the day they paid the pink slip(visa deliery).

Text: example: "NML2008XXXXXXX STATUS"
Online at the "Shipping Tracking" enter your case number and add "01" at the end of the case number.

And please post your findings...

This is the automatic status after you pay the visa delivery fee (notice the date, which is the date of interview). It could mean many things: they are still waiting for additional documents, waiting for DV, still reviewing the case.

Once the USEM is finished with whatever it is they are reviewing or waiting for, the CO will order the printing of the visa and then visa will be released to DELBROS once visa is released to DELBROS the status will then add another date and then "SHIPMENT RELEASED BY THE EMBASSY".. once you get this update, it usually takes about 3-7days (depending on location) before the visa will be on the applicants hands.

the complete status update should look like this:

6/3/2008 12:35:29 AM--------SHIPMENT OUT FOR DELIVERY (this was the day I received my visa)
6/3/2008 12:35:04 AM--------SHIPMENT BEING PREPARED FOR DELIVERY
5/30/2008 6:54:32 PM--------SHIPMENT RECEIVED AT DISTRIBUTION CENTER
5/30/2008 6:47:33 PM--------SHIPMENT IN PROCESS
5/30/2008 2:21:01 PM--------SHIPMENT RELEASED BY THE EMBASSY
5/21/2008 3:01:16 PM--------SHIPMENT PROCESS IN THE EMBASSY (this was the day of my interview)

For the time being, since your visa status has not changed yet, continue making follow up with embassy. Good luck and may you receive the visa soonest. rose.gif

I assume you did not get a white slip right?

I called the USEM today I spoke to Lorain she told me they recieved my fiancee's DV last Friday (Sep 5). Shel told me team of CO consist of 2 CO and some of them went back to US and waiting for replacement. She advice they would be some delay due to short of CO.
