AFTER THT WE GOT ANOTHER LETTER ON JUL 17TH , SAYING THT THE OFFICE IS READY TO BEGIN THE FINAL PROCESSING, THEY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT ON THE AUG 22TH , @ 7am. N THEY N THEY ASKED US TO SUBMIT ALL THE DOCUMENTS TO VFS OFFICE WITH THE FEE OF Rs. 365,
MY FIANCE TOOK COPIES OF ALL THE DOCUMENTS TO VFS

BUT THEY WANTED ORIGINAL COPIES, SO THEY TOLD HIM TO TAKE THOSE TO EMBASSY ON HIS INTERVIEW,
HE WENT THERE N THEY ASKED HIM SOME QUESTINS LIKE
#1 . 1STT IME WE MET, HOW, N WHEN?
ANS . WAS WE WERE FAMILY FRI N WE MET IN 1998 FOR THE 1ST TIME.
#2 . WHEN HIS FIANCE WENT TO USA ( N THTS IS ME)
ANS. IN 2005
# 3 HOW ?
ANS, SHE WAS ADOPTED N HER PARENTS FILED PETTION FOR HER ,
# 4, HOW DID THEY ( MY PARENS) ADOPTED ME?
ANS , THEY DIDN'T HVE N ODAUGHTER SO THEY ( MY DAD) ADOPTED HIS BROTHER'S DAGHTER.

SO THEY SEND HIM TO THE OTHER OFFICER LADY , N SHE TOLD HIM TO SUBMIT SOME OTHER DOCUMENTS TO THE VFS , HE TOLD THEM THEY HE DO HVE PROOFS WITH HIM BUT THEY WRE LIKE THOSE R NOT ENOUGH, THEY TOLD HIM TO SEND THOSE PAPER, N HIS PASSPORT N THT HE DOESN'T NEED TO COME,

PLZ HELP ME WHT TO DO , DO U GUYS THINK THEY GONA APPROVE IT , IM LOOSING HOPE

im really confused........what did they want for him to submit?

This RFE sounds like they don't think you provided enough evidence of a continuing relationship. The more evidence you can give them the better. Have you been providing any financial support? Bank statments or Western Union receipts would be good evidence. Notorized letters from family and official forms that show proof of contact, like phone bills, are excelent evidence. You are on the right track just get as much proof as possible.

Yeah guys its really sad thanks for all help and support.

You can choose DCF (Direct Consular Filing) if you wish to stay for the time being in India after your marriage. For India you need to stay around 3 months prior to filing DCF and the whole DCF process usually takes a maximum of 2 months.

A word of caution, while going to India, make sure you aren't going through Tourist VISA, one can only file DCF if they have some kind of permanent residency VISA for India. Since you were an Indian a few years ago, you can apply for PIO (Person of Indian Origin) or even get Entry VISA and that will fulfill your purpose.

Well document your relationship with him; also give American consulate family chart showing how you two have different family background/blood.

yes i did send them notarized copy of my passport, n also notarized copy of a letter from my parents saying tht we'll get marry as soon as he arrives here, but u noe the result...........

Pinky, as SGR has asked, did you apply for a Fiance visa (which is a K1) or a spouse visa (already married) K3? The reason we ask, is that you state you've applied for K3 (already married) but you're asking about Fiance stuff (K1) ..... if you are not yet married, can you please change your 'filed for' section to K1 otherwise it will throw the dates out for the rest of us, and give a false sense of hope if you post your approval.
K1 approval times are very different to K3 approval times, and a lot of us on VJ rely heavily of these approval times for an idea of when we will get our own.

Pinky did you apply for K3 or K1 visa..............both are different just let you know....your profile says you applied for K3 but you asking for K1 requirements.........
