K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Experienced K1'ers	April 5th wedding gives 7 months to get everything done from I-129f processing and getting NoA 2, the case being sent from the NVC to the appropriate consulate/embassy, to getting the medical exam and interview scheduled, visa approved, and visa in hand.     In all honesty I wouldn't count on it.  The I-129f processing along could take 6 months or more, nevermind all the other stuff.  It's possible it would be approved sooner, mine for example only took little over 3, but again I wouldn't count on it.   There's really just too much unpredictable time consuming things that can happen between now and then to think about scheduling a wedding date.   I said the same but my fiancee would like to send everyone "Save the date" card and really wants a rough estimate and everytime i tell her we should move it to some later date she gets mad lol. Do you think thats possible?   Also we're planning to have a small event in my home country before we both goto US for our actual wedding, you know, just to celebrate it beforehand with the lads back at home because they wont be a part of it. I have read alot of guides and examples on this website but i still have a few questions which i will post here and hopefully some of you can answer it, Thanks in advance!   1. How much is total expense of K1-VISA ( i know its 340$ but is there any hidden fees i should be looking at?)   2. What is the total expense of turning ur K1 to Green card to Naturalization in rough estimate?   3. No where in the guide or anywhere it says that you have to provide the proof of ongoing relationship but yet alot of people have posted that it's a necessity. Is that true? If so, what kind of proof should i attatch to my file. I don't think our skype calls and chat messages are decent enough to be shared for the public eye.   4. Since i am in Pakistan, do i have to send G325A and Letter of Intent by e-mail,fax or do i have to main physical original copy?   5. In K1 Step by Step guide it mentions "Declaration of how you met in person in the last two years. This should be a single typed page attachment regarding question 18 of the I-129F. Make sure to sign and date it." Does this mean to leave Question 18 boxes empty or type in "look at attachment" or something?   6. I'd like my family to visit our American Wedding, is there anyway they can issue a temporary visa on behalf of my K1 Visa and be able to attend our wedding?   Please, answer as much as possible. UAE and Pakistan both have US Embassies and Consulates and i have legal rights to be in both countries but i am just wondering since i will be in UAE most likely which country should be put under my K1 Visa and which country will USCIS adopt for my interview?   By your post about AP it seems like theres a discrimination going around for Males? particularly in my area? The exact details of when to send it depend on which consulate.    Does that mean that she should send an I-134 Affidavit of Support to me and i should take it to Consulate for the submission along with the copies of her original I-129F petition? If you made a visit the LEAST you can extract from that is your Ticket (even if you lost it, goto airlines website and put in your name and it should show your booking and then print a e-ticket, if still can't find it then contact the airline) and possible a hotel booking (if you stayed at any) and the ring ofcourse! provide all three proof and you should make some case seeing you also have phone bills. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	G-325A for K-1	The applicant is the person filling out the form. When the beneficiary fills it out, they put in the information pertaining to themselves. When petitioner fills it out, they put in their own information. As for the work situation, if you are the petitioner, you must somehow prove how much you earn. If you don't have pay stubs, do you have tax returns? Can your dad, as company director, provide some sort of statement as to the the nature of your earnings? You need to have something, some sort of document, with which you can prove your income. If not, consider asking someone to co-sponsor.   I am sorry i should have cleared that up the Beneificiary doesnt have pay stubs etc because of working at dads company. I've checked mine and my fiance and both us filled out the box. Another question, let other VJers shed some light for you since I have been working for the last 10 years in some private company and I am the beneficiary. Sure, I use a label maker to mark all my boxes and files at home, but then I'm a little neurotic when it comes to being organised.   For I-129F filing purposes though, I don't think you need to label the individual forms and separate them. You have a cover page - just put the documents in the order they're listed on the cover page and clamp all the pages together. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Complete I-129F Packet with all pages Images!	no don't punch holes in your documents and other papers no binders no folders. just keep it neat use a large clamp on top when your file gets to the uscis it's all taken apart and put their way any binders or folders would be put in trash.   I guess but the binders are important to keep the documents together in order. Looks great but I'd recommend putting your photos in clear ziploc baggies and attaching the baggies to a blank sheet of paper that goes behind the corresponding G325A. Also I wouldn't keep your papers in those laminated sleeves. I followed the advice of seasoned VJ'ers and two-hole punched the top of every sheet of paper in my application packet and used the ACCO fasteners. That makes it very easy for anyone working on your case file to easily remove papers for copying, etc.   Good luck and Godspeed! =)   I'll do that, Thanks!   Can you tell me wht the punch holes though? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Just received NOA2 in 24 days? Now I'm confused about the Guidelines?	The answer is No to all. The address is of where it was merely shipped from which is Texas Service Centre. You have to wait till 4-6 weeks to see a change in status, mail them after a month or so with ur Reciept number and they will confirm you that they have indeed recieved your file and estimate of how the proccess will go on from there.   and when it leaves for ghana consulate, you will be notified by e-mail when it leaves nvc and then you wait to e-mail consulate to confirm its arrival.   After it arrives in ghana they will send your fiance a packet 3 with all the details of the interview through email or by physical mail if thats how it is done over there. she will also have to do medical by there recommended medical centres.
