K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	August 2008 Filers	Hi everybody! I am sorry I dozed off after I posted my good news. Thank you Dani and Noa&Mia. It feels really good to know that they are at least still checking on our files. I was almost to the point of giving up last week - just came out of the hospital, going to be on medical leave for a month and not sure if I still have a job when I get back to work, and no nothing from USCIS. It was AWFUL!!! Gemmie, wish you luck and all the best on your trip on Wednesday. Break a leg! Please be safe and I will be praying for you. Here's the thing that I have noticed for most of the VSC filers: 1st Touch ---- Acceptance- triggers the first update after they receive the payment. 2nd Touch ---- about 5 weeks after they have received your case 3rd Touch ---- about two months after the 2nd touch NOA2 --------- immediately or a week after the 3rd touch. Now this is just purely my observation. it doesn't happen to all cases at the VSC but, it's generally what I have observed. For CSC on the other hand, it is similar however, there is at least 3 months of gap from the 2nd and 3rd touch. Whatever the case may be, I hope we are all on the same path. Please God, touch the hearts of these people who will be processing our petitions. I am also worried about the upcoming elections. That could potentially slow down the whole process. Oh well... No expedite, no special filing, no nothing! What is the deal with VSC???? I am happy for this person who got approved that fast! But why does it have to be bloody slloooooowwww for us??? It is amazing that we are all holding on and giving each other a fair shake and a long string of encouraging words when we haven't even met. Love works in mysterious ways - it is a gift from God- the Big Guy up there who truly knows how to unite people and keep the faith alive. I just got out of the hospital peeps that's why i have been quiet for a while. Stress eh? OH YES!!! I can't wait to be with my honey in December!!! weeee!!!! And guess what? I missed all of you! September is almost over! Take care everyone and keep posting. Will meet my wedding gown designer tomorrow so we can start off with it. Will be meeting a friend on the weekend who is in the kewelry business so i could see her samples of wedding rings and jewelry stuff that would be great for my wedding gown. Can you tell I am excited? Oh so very much! I wish to sleep and when i wake up it's December when my honey is here with the NOA2 and the needed documents. Way to go friends! What I do on my end is try to shop around for stuff like wedding rings, surprises that I would possibly give him when he comes to visit me in December. i also think about what to get for his parents when th time comes that I will eventually (please make it soon) go there. Radz will have to secure CENOMAR (Certificate of No Marriage) from the NSO herself. The DV had been stopped by the Manila Embassy since Octobet this year due to so much backlog and NSO not being able to deliver as per SLA agreement. Hope this helps. Good luck! So I am very happy. On top of that, dear daughter got all her shots for free at her pedia as it had been applied to insurance. We just recently gathered enough money for the filing fee and I am beginning to be able to breath better. My hubby's pay is just enough to break even and we don't even have a house yet! We are living with the in-laws (waving to Gemmie) too and it's really hard on me as I am so used to having my own turf. But, I believe it will all be better soon and I can't wait to get my hands on that employment card! The employment here in KY is a little bleak but I am keeping a positive mind.
