Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionDuring two years -- travel Possible, right ?
Shawn,

She will be returning to the US prior to the expiry of her 2 year GC, so all she'll need is the GC. If there is any possibility that she will remain outside the US until after the card expires, she will need that extension letter from USCIS (which you will receive after filing the I-751). It sounds like she'll be leaving before you'll receive that letter, so just make sure you have some way of getting her that letter (if necessary).

My hubby & I traveled outside the US on his expired 2yr card and with the extension letter, and we had no troubles.

Just tell her to sit back and enjoy the trip! If you have some worries, you can always call the mis-information line or your local office and see what they say as well.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionHas anyone been denied a driver's licence while lifting conditions?
My hubby and I are relocating back to KY from OH, and this has been a concern on my mind. Now that I've read this thread, my fears are definitely worse. I just hope the KY DMV isn't as ignorant, and understand what the hell an extension letter means.

Good luck to the OP!!

That's great news! Congrats!

My hubby's NOA was the same as yours, so hopefully his isn't too far behind! :D

Just checked my hubby's status, and his I-751 was approved yesterday!

His NOA date was 11/22/06.

There is light at the end of the tunnel for that applied last Nov.!
