Oh yes. I called them again this morning for follow-up. They said they issued CENOMAR already..

Hi guys! Finally I solved the problem regarding my CENOMAR. I called the NSO office in Manila and the man I spoke with gave me a number of the E-Census. I got the chance to talk the person incharge of the processed request. She read to me the details written in the CEMAR. First the name of the woman which exactly the same as mine (first name, middle initial and the last name). When I asked the full middle name, she cannot answer me because it's only initial that is written in the certificate. So I asked for the husband's name. After she read the name I said I didn't know that person. And so I asked if there's father and mother information, she refused to answer and so finally she said ' ok I will forward this to the processing department.'

As of now,I am waiting for it to be forwarded in US consulate here in Hong Kong. They asked me to pay 48.60 USD through Western Union for the special courier.

Hi, sweet cakes! The USEM Hong Kong will not set an appointment for me unless they received my CENOMAR. That's what they are waiting for.

it's totally different from USEM Manila. You will be bringing your CENOMAR together with other docs they required on your interview.

I feel sorry with the system of getting documents from the Philippines. It's very inconvenient, complicated and time consuming!.Plus you didn't get what you wanted after all the efforts.

Hi,maricel. This is the link that USEM Hong Kong that gave me. https://www.ecensus....ph/Default.aspx. They sent me instructions/steps how to request online. I followed everything in there. I am sure I put my information correctly. I made sure every details were correct. The system just ask me my full name, birth date,birth place,mother's maiden name and father's name. I don't know why on earth it appears that I am married if they really used the information I have provided. Now what freakin' me out is that the result will be sent directly to the embassy because Of the delivery address I have put as per USE instruction. Once they received the CEMAR, then it could be the end of my application.

I want them not to send the result. I emailed them,but I get no reply!

I asked my friend from Davao to make a long distance to NSO Manila to ask why the result was CEMAR instead of CENOMAR and told her to give them my information again. But the man who entertained her said that I may lied in order to get a CENOMAR and didn't bother to ask my info again. They should have checked their files thoroughly because in the Philippines it is very common to have same names but when it comes to the information of the father , mother ,birth date and birth place, it is totally different. They should wonder why I requested for CENOMAR if I know I'm married,right? I am now convinced that the people who works in the government are usually lazy! They are not really into people they are serving. I'm sorry for those who are dedicated to what they do.

I'm very disappointed with this. I am wasting money,effort and time just because of their laziness.

I'm sorry guys. I just felt bad.

Hi, Hank! Yes I do have. I can ask my mother to do a favor for me. The problem is, I have instructions from the USEM here in Hong Kong that CENOMAR should be obtained through online, the e-CENSUS. And must sent directly to them. I wanted to call the embassy if I can do what you have suggested but I'm afraid they will have doubts about my CENOMAR being faked or what.

that's what I wanted to do but when I read the instruction that embassy sent me,it says there that it should be requested through e-Census and should be sent to their office directly. And that is one of my problem right now. Im afraid that the NSO will forward the CEMAR to USEM. I emailed them to verify the result again and not to send the CEMAR,but I didn't get any reply yet. Im very frustrated! Everything could be ruined by this. I'm afraid the USEM will deny my application.

Yes. I double checked everything and its accurate. I have a summary of the information I have given them. What I saw in Facebook is that there's a person who's name is same with mine and she's married! I don't know why the NSO cannot see the difference with our middle name.

Guys please help! I made an online request of my CENOMAR in E-Census. Now, the result is CEMAR! I really can't believe that. I'm never been married! I'm really disappointed now. I don't know what to do. I'm on a rush because I need to get everything done before February. My working visa here in Hong Kong will end on February. What should I do? The embassy will not schedule an interview for me if they don't receive the CENOMAR.

I had my k1 visa issued in Hong Kong consulate last January 2014. Since it will expire on June 2014, I went home to help my 7-year-old son to apply for a K2 visa so that he can accompany me to the US.

Now these are my questions:

a) how long it will take for the k2 visa process here in Phils? I'm afraid the time left before my visa expires will not be enough.

b) what are the documents do I need to prepare for the interview?

I sent an inquiry to USEM for the status of my son's application, they replied that they sent notification to our address last Feb 4 and that we no need to wait for the hard copy of that which until now we didn't receive. As of now, I just finished the DS 160 form online and I had registered in their CGIfederal website and saw there that the first available schedule appointment is on May 13, 2014.

c) the date shows in that website is always the actual available?

I am hoping that if I call for scheduling an appointment there will be earlier than that.

Please do help me what to do so that we can leave before May. I want to be in the US by then for my fiance's birthday.

You emailed HK consulate? Usually they will reply after 2 business days. Sometimes 4 days after.

. If you want to have an answer right away,you can ask your fiancee to call this number +852 58084666. it's the call center open for inquiries from 8 am to 8 pm. The first thing she will hear is the voice prompt. Tell her to wait until it finished talking and she will be forwaded to a live person.

Hi vbtmrt, I am waiting for my packet 3 now here in Hong Kong. But my fiance put my HK address from the beginning of the application so that everything will be sent in HK consulate. As far as I know it will take few weeks for the case to arrived in another consulate or embassy. I asked tru email in the consulate because I wanted the case to be forwarded in Manila embassy after my interview here for my son's K2 visa.

What is this all about? I am a sole custodian of my child ever since. The father of my 7-year-old son has no care about him. His father's name isn't in his birth certificate either. I have no contacts with his father for long time. He doesn't even give a dime for our child. Do I still have to have this document? Once the case has been forwarded to the embassy,you can start contacting them. I submitted my DS-160 yesterday. The consulate ask me to send them copies. But I forgot to make a copy of all the pages! So I called the call center if it's ok that I will just send the confirmation page. They said it's ok. So I will be sending the confirmation page today. Then I will register first to their site and , pay my visa and if I think I am ready for the interview, I will be the one to set an appointment to them.

Those are the steps here in Hong Kong pal! I don't know if all embassies/consulates have the same.

So call your embassy now for inquiries.
