On February 16, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. Hi there, this AP is just done randomly, we were there for close to 3 weeks and by the time it gets out of it, within a couple of days you will have your interview date scheduled, primarily the petitioner will receive an email about their interview being scheduled and then later the beneficiary receives the post and/or email later. We had undergone the same process, but we really used to call NVC/DOS a couple of times every week to know the status. Do keep checking your applicant case status https://ceac.state.gov/CEAC/. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	AP:Help!	After calling the NVC today to see if they received my approved I-129F petition they told me it is in Administrative Processing. I was so disappointed! He could not give me a timeline as to how long it will be in AP. He just told me to keep checking back periodically to see if they forwarded it to the embassy. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	G-325A	i need help... on the G-325A form.. it says to list all places of employment for last 5 years... my fiancee helps his brother at his store. my fiancee doesn't own the store.. his brother does, he just helps him. he is not officially employed by his brother even though he gives him money. Should he put this in the part about employment as his job? even though he is not officially employed? Hello, To answer your questions: If your fiancé works at his brother's shop then, yes, he should provide that as a place of employment with the dates that he started, etc. Basically list ANYWHERE he has worked in the last five years, including gaps of unemployment. Do not leave gaps of time with no employment/ unemployment accounted for. For how you met in the last 2 years, be detailed. Think back to the times when you met up and describe things that you did, where you went, if it is when the two of you first met each other then explain that. USCIS is trying to look for a genuine response showing that you have met, do not be vague. Questions in regard to this section will come in the future. Whether they ask him them at the K1 interview or at the AOS interview. For address, place your parents at the moment. That is what I had to do when I initially filed for the K1. When I moved to my apartment I filled out the online change of address form and submitted it to USCIS. Every time you guys move, your fiancé will need to fill this out, it is part of the stipulation of being a legal immigrant. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	need help	ok I am trying to assemble the I-129f packet... i have some questions: on the G-325A form it asks for employment for last 5 years. he works at his brother's shop.. should he put that? on the I-129F form they ask to describe the circumstances under which we met within the last 2 years.. i am not sure what to put.. i just put i traveled to algeria and the date and i put that he met us at the airport, and i gave the dates i stayed with his family. is this what they are looking for? He wants to know: when he gets his k-1 visa, he would like to stop in france to visit relatives ( he is algerian) on his way to the US. However, while I am waiting I am trying to gather and organize everything we will need for the next step. I know there are some things my fiancee will need to bring with him to the interview. For the proof of ongoing relationship ( emails, skype chats/logs, photos, copies of boarding passes, etc.) I was thinking of putting everything in a binder and label everything. I thought it would make it easier for officer to look at during the interview. My question is, is this ok? Would they mind my fiance bringing a binder with him to his interview? I know he also will need to bring in a copy of the original I-129F package with him. Can I put this in the binder as well or should this be separate? What about the affidavit of support form and supporting documents? I was thinking of putting these in the binder too but in a folder. Is this ok? On question #7 if i don't have any personal property, life insurance, or stocks or bonds, do I just leave those lines blank? Or do I write "none"? For the part that says "I have on deposit in savings bank in the United States".... do i need to put how much i have in my savings account? I also receive child support. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Interview	I sent my husband a copy of absolutely everything, even though the embassy should already have had everything. Right down to the support paperwork, birth certificates, proof of relationship. I used the "If it fits it ships" postage from the USPS which helps with cost and gets it there in about 5 business days. Make sure he brings his medical exam, passport photos and passport of course, but also make sure he has a new updated copy of his police record along with the certified translation. He also needs to bring the email/paper that shows the confirmation of his interview appointment. Sorry I just have a question...you said you sent your fiancee everything via USPS? I was told not to send anything via USPS but DHL. I was told if I send stuff through the postal service if most likely will not reach him. I am trying to fill out the I-134 and I want to make sure everything is correct and I have all my supporting documents to go with it. I receive monthly child support via the courts. If it goes 10 business days out or so from the printed date you guys might want to follow up, but I wouldn't before then. They are tough to get answers from anyway - and showing up on their doorstep without an appointment means no guarantee they will let him in to find out anything anyway. It may have taken a few people just a few weeks to get their visas, others it takes a while. Luck of the draw...? Timing with understaffing....? Hard to say. I know it is tough waiting, but you really are in the home stretch now. When you think it has been way to long, reach out and see what they say!   Congratulations on getting to this point!   ok thanks. I told him he should wait a little longer. Maybe give them another week or so. After the first week of may, then he should go. I got nervous when other people i spoke to told me it only took them 2 weeks to get their visa. Hopefully we will hear something soon. Aside from that, the Algerian embassy has been a bit behind for several months now. It took my husband about a month to get his visa printed and sent back out. He still has not received his visa and passport. I checked the state department website and it says the visa has been issued and printed as of April 10th.  So why has it not been sent to UPS yet? I know the visa has an expiration date, but i am not sure when it is. Is there anything we can do? How can we find out what is going on? Has anyone ever experienced this?
