USCIS Service Centers	Lost confidence in this system	I an in the same position. NOA1 of May 16 and transfer from Vermont to Texas Sept 4.I think the transfee happened due to a backlog at Vermont but so many June filers are getting approved there now that is unfair. I booked mine with the station in the City and got livescan fingerprints and filled the police app form. Got my police certificate mailed to me within a week or so. Just saw you said December 26 that's the same day I plan to go Boxing Day. Who are you flying with?   I am going with Etihad airways. It was one of the cheaper flights. Only downside was that it is a longggg trip. Around 33 hours include a 3-4 hour stopover lol but i am willing to pay less even if i have to sit on a plane for ages. It goes to Dubai then to New York. My fiance is picking me from New York as he lives in Connecticut and then will drive there. That saves around $500 instead of going to his local airport! Which airline are you using? If they dont need them, I'm happy to send back once I get to USA. And yes, my co-sponsor needs to fill out the I-134 also with supports, but being a immi laywer, he does it on daily basis. It's just weird as now he's on the other end of it LOL. I have been selling bits and pieces, but with 3 children, i can't get rid of alot yet, but the kids rooms are much easier to clean now, with less ####### in them LOL. You'll get there. Just take it day by day. Good luck     Woo hoo. how exciting. $75 is good just in case. I've been looking at 6-20th Jan for flights. Seems to be a little cheaper. I'll be VERY lucky to find plane tickets for us under $4500. With the medicals, plane tickets and hotel for interview, visa payment and one way travel there is going to cost approx $6800. We wont have even left Australia by then  Ouch. Yeah $75 isn't much considering what you paid for ticket. Well done It's amazing how much this all costs! I haven't bought any new clothes or bags or shoes etc in the past few months as i have put away most of my income for visa, wedding and travel costs lol.   I am sure that in Jan flights will be cheaper. Do you have any particular airline in mind? Some of the cheaper airlines are usually united airlines. I am going with Etihad airways. Lol If it was $75 a flight, i'd be visiting all the time hahah! It's $75 charge if i want to change my flight. My flight there cost $1,776. That equates to around 1,049.08 British pounds. That could be a good sign that Syd embassy aren't that busy.  As for us, nope. No case number yet. I have read on VJ that 42 and 43 days waiting is a great number for getting case numbers for CSC filers. I'm thinking I may just scrape in the case number before the medicals. I think 43 days waiting for us wil be over on the 17th Oct, medicals on the 22nd. I'll be calling them every day this week.  After 3yrs of relationship (3rd yr anniversary in few days), 5 airport goodbyes, 9 months apart (this is longest span of not seeing each other), I'm so ready to get case number. I-134's are about to be posted to me from USA so i'll be ready for the embassy. Let's hope you get the case number just in time for your medical! That would be awesome   I haven't seen my fiance since March 4 so i feel your pain. We're nearly there Ozgirl. Keep focused on the end goal and we'll soon be with our men for good!   Btw, is your fiance including any tax returns along with his i-i34? I told my fiance to send me a copy of his most recent tax return just incase the embassy wants it as well as bank statement, employment letter and a few recent pay stubs. From what I have found on google, Immigrant visas require the DS-260 and the Nonimmigrant visas need the DS-230.  Immigrant Visa - Syd http://canberra.usem...pet_family.html Nonimmigrant visa - Syd http://canberra.usem...e_niv_appl.html K1 is a Nonimmigrant according to these websites THanks Ozgirl! Yeah it clearly says in the email they sent me it is DS-230. No mention was made about DS-260. I have basically filled out the form already. It almost did my head in having to fill out previous schools etc. I only put university as that is the only place i got  a degree. I'm just working on the forms right now and the instructions still say to completed DS-230 Part 1. Hopefully that is still right! This is an email we just got sent on Thursday. Police check, done, Medicals, on 15th October, rest is forms and just certifying my documents as well as waiting for my fiance to send me his documents and I-I34. I can't imagine how hard that wait must be but hang in there because once you get that number, it should be all relatively quick in the process from then on. This msg means that it is being transferred to the consulate. It's not like i'm waiting on case number to book medical as its done already, and still waiting on fiance and co-sponsor documents from USA. Got my police check back and I have no record, so i'm all clear there.  Not sure if Ill be travelling Boxing day yet. I need to save all the cash I can with fights. Leaving Boxing day will cost $5,500 for the 4 of us. 19th Jan is looking good at $4,500, but going to travel agent so they can do the hard work for me after i'm done with interview. My kids dont finish school till 20th Dec, so anytime cheap after that, we'll go. I use skyscanner atm to check flights.  How is your journey going so far?   You have already got the major things done so once you get your case numberg things will be really quick Our wedding is  March 1 so i need to be there at the latest early Jan so i'm hoping 3 months is enough to get between our NOA2 which was on the 18th September and the point of entry i am aim going for which is 26th December. I've been using expedia. Also checked out sky scanner and it gave me similar prices.    Our case was shipped September 20 to NVC so we are yet to hear about our case no. More photos that you may have of both of you, skype logs, cards/mail you have sent. Maybe even a letter from friends/family that know you both to say that you are both happily in love etc. Good luck I have just scheduled our medicals (without case number). 22nd October. Dr. Charles is away for 2 weeks soon, so glad I got in then. $450 for me and $250 each for my children (3 children).   $1200 for medicals. Oh boy, $5000 for flights, $1500+ for visas and can't wait for AOS time.
