USCIS Service CentersVSC !-129F August filiers?

Just wondering if there are any other people who filed to VSC in August that still haven't received their NOA2? We had our NOA1 on 26th August but still no word. I've been waiting very patiently for some time now and am wondering if there's anyone else out there in the same boat? My patience is starting to wear thin!

i filed mine the same day as you & we got our noa2 2/17/11. should be any day for you, i would look for it prolly thursday or friday, i got mine around 5pm central time

USCIS Service Centersnoa2

Sorry, I did miss understand. Have you already started gathering your most recent paystubs, bank statements, and income tax returns? Did you fill out the visa application, forms DS156 & DS-156K? Your country is different from myine and not sure when you fill these out. Check out embassy info and K1 Visa Guide for more info.

yes i have already gathered 3 of my last bank statements, 4 pay stubs, last 3 years taxes & ds-134 completed & letter of employment, as for the ds-156 & 156k, i think that is for the beneficiary??

USCIS Service Centersnoa2

Consist of the date your petition was approved and which consulate your case is being sent to. Trying to remember, but I believe it also has the NVC contact info, because that is the first stop before being sent to the embassy.

maybe i used the wrong wording, what i meant by CONSIST is what will i have to do other than the 1-134?

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionI-134 Question

People will tell you different things, just as various embassies require different documentation. I don't think there's a right or wrong answer here.

Most paystubs I have ever received always showed YTD income, but I'd still bring a few of them anyway. Call it tangible proof for an inquiring CO wanting to physically touch what will determine getting a visa or not getting a visa - or call it plain overkill - there's probably not much harm including more (a few months worth) rather than less (a few weeks worth).

yes you are right. i will get 3-6 months of them together

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionI-134 Question

Bank statements are not required unless you're using assets to supplement income.

Tax returns (1-3 years, if available), a letter from your employer stating income and hours, and recent pay stubs (3-6 months) will be fine in most cases.

i was told that all those pay stubs are not necessary if your pay stubs show a year to date on them.
example if some one gets paid once a week then they will be submitting 36 pay stubs. i think that is a little much, when the year to date figure is on the stubs.
thank you & i welcome your feedback

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionI-134 Question

So if we make well above the poverty line, the only thing they will need is the last years income tax return filed?

last 3 bank statements
last 3 years tax returns
employment letter
3 or 4 pay stubs

PhilippinesTracking from NVC to Embassy

I did, and you should also. If I didn't contact them, I still would be in the same situation you are in. I've been waiting almost 2 months for USCIS to send my petition to NVC but they never did. Finally I got tired of same response that NVC still doesn't have it, so I contacted my congressman. It only took a about a week and my petition was finally sent to NVC and now on its way to the embassy. SO CALL YOUR CONGRESSMAN NOW :0

hello, i hope all is going well. i have a question i was hoping you could anser. how did you go about tracking your package? i have my case# mnl2011xxxxxx. can you help me please? thanks in advance. bill

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresHow can you track the package from NVC To the Foreign Embassy??

QUOTE (Laura+Tom @ Sep 10 2008, 05:34 AM) QUOTE (babybebita @ Sep 10 2008, 11:32 AM) Hi!

The NVC is going to send my Package to de Embassy in the next days!!

I read the Loto's Guide, but I do not understand:

Final Step 2 – NVC Case Forwarding to the Foreign U.S Consulate
Time: 7 to 10 days after above step

Case is officially forwarded to the U.S Consulate by DHL. All your Originals/Certified copies submitted to NVC along with all your files are mailed to the consulate in this step.

NVC mails out immigrant visa appointment letter to both the petitioner in the U.S and the beneficiary in the foreign country.

How to track your valuable originals?

Listen to NVC AVR message, it will clearly say "Your case is completed and forwarded to the embassy or consulate in XXX on MM/DD/YYYY…" Once you hear this message, immediately go to DHL website at http://track.dhl-usa...?nav=TrackByRef and track your shipment.

For example, if AVR says your shipment date is 06/05/2008, NVC actually called DHL one day before this date to pick up the shipment. So your reference date is 06/04/2008. Then enter EXP 04 JUN 2008A as your reference in the above DHL website. Then scroll down to your consulate link.
To be sure you can try a date range between 06/03/2008 to 06/06/2008 in the date range.

Where can I obtain the DHL Reference??

Please, If someone knows, Can you share with me the information, please?

Thank you very much!!

I'm assuming the part in bold is where you get your reference from.

Hi ,

I have tried but it didnt work .
I am still figuring out, how..

i was also told that it may be a good idea to make 4 copies of the G-325a Supplement letter & label them as follows on the bottom left hand corner of the page like the original document of the G-325A that you get @ the USCIS office
LABELING for the G-325a supplement letter
(1) Ident.
(2) Rec. Br
(3) C.
(4) Consulate

Tell you what you can try... instead of pressing through all four sheets, fill in each sheet by hand, individually, with a separator in between so the carbon doesn't get pressed through for legibility's sake. I also noticed that you are right, there's only a single sheet on the form available on the USCIS website.

very good idea!!!!! thanks so much

The last time I filled out a G-325A was two years ago, and back then it had four copies. I'm not entirely sure if you need four still, if they're only giving out single-sheet forms, but I'd advise you to check your I-129F and see if they actually mention you need more than one copy.

ok, thanks, i just talked with someone that is involve on the civilian side of helping the Govt write the policies, this is what she said, "on the bottom of the 4 page form that you get from the local USCIS there are defined as follows:
1st page white ( (1) ident. )
2nd page green ( (2) Rec. Br. )
3rd page pink ( (3) C )
4th page yellow ( (4) Consulate )
this is what i was told i can do... Make 4 copies of the G_325A per each packet. label each page @ the bottom left.

the other solution is to just put one original copy in & when you are called in for your interview, i was told that then you can make more copies because all they need is one @ the time of the application. i hope this helps someone

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresNever "touched"

I'm at 5 and a half months since the NOA1, and every day feels slow as molasses. Haven't been touched since 10.03.10. But I did put in a service request and contact my Senator. The Senator's office called the VSC on 2.11.11 and then called me back and said that my case had been assigned to an officer on 2.10.11. But it still doesn't show being touched...Should I believe what the Senator's office told me??
