US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	co-sponser help !!!!	My sister is going to be my co-sponser alone i dont make enough but i have a few questions. I make just over 25,000 a year in my household is me my three chlidren and my sister her income is 12,000 a year my only asset my car which is only worth about 1500 i do have a profit sharing with my work which is about 24,000 i dont know if i can use that .my sisters income is disablity which she has only had since nov. so no tax info for her for three years. Please read this thread and its mate carefully: http://www.visajourn...topic=15688&hl= If your beneficiary is applying for a K visa, the "household member" and "joint sponsor" and "assets" information discussed here does not apply; that is a discussion of the I-864 which is for Immigrant Visas. Gosh, I wonder if this is another "goldenheart" issue? Let's hope the OP pays attention to the correct immigration terminology for a fiancé. I have never heard that term "goldenheart" but will definitly see what its about. I do be believe a fiance is someone your engaged to but not yet married correct? just want to make sure that i got that one right.Can anyone tell me what OP stands for when its referring to me. When i found this site i was so happy and grateful its here this is the first time i have had a need for more information like this cus i know nothing till i learn so i am thankful for all of your help and forgive me if some of my terminology was incorrect. I am sure many of you can relate to the husband/fiance thing maybe not i dont know all we are waiting for is the stupid paper with our names becides that we are in everyway very much husband and wife but i do get where it could be a problem and again thank you for bringing that to my attention. I am hoping someone can answer this for me please i have read the guides and they don't tell me anything about my situation i made a similar post about this in a different room but no replys and i'm really worried cus i don't have anyone else who could co sponsor. Ok this is my ask I know i don't make enough to sponsor my husband i am about 1500 short but i a have just a few assets one a car worth about 2500 and i really want to know if this is a asset or not i have a profit sharing program at my work right now i have 24,000 in it i have be there 4 years and am what they call vested so 14,000 of it is mine.but its not like i can just take i have to ask and my work has to say ok unless i quit then i get it.Can i use this as an asset? One more possibility i have is my sister who leaves with me her income is 12,000 a year and would put us within the 125% poverty level for a family of 6 her income is from social security disability so there is not past taxes for her. I just don't know how i should go about this this form i read the guide and the form just so unsure of how to state my financial situation our combined income is enough so how do i add my sister as part of my household income she does show as a dependent on my taxes for the past two years her income just started in nov 2005 ? US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Insufficent Income	When i looked at my taxes i realized that it was different from what my employer said i made. by 4000 dollars when i asked why my taxes where $ 4000 less then my income statement i was told the money that comes out of my check for health insurance is not taxable income there for it is not recorded on my tax return.I don't know if that is anything like your case if you have health insurance or not you also have to think about assets what do you for assets i know myself i don't have a co sponsor i have just me my girls and jamal so i'm on my own. Middle East and North Africa	interview day!!!! and its done	we havent had much time to talk just a quick phone call between my work then his fourteen hour bus ride. he did say the blonde lady was very nice i saw where others said she was not he said she was looking at the pictures of him and the girls for a long time then asked him if he loved the girls he ohhhhhh yes and she smiled.Told him a week or so they would call him back to bring his passport.When we have a chance to talk i will post everything. Middle East and North Africa	interview day!!!! and its done	hello all jamal had his interview today we are so happy looks like everything is ok .they gave him a letter in english and she said they would call him in 1 or 2 weeks. he said the letter worried him cus it said he is unable to have his visa at this time and gave the reason below it was check for AP.Is this normal for it to say that ? He asked the women what it meant was everything ok or not she said relax just means washington has to do checks and then we will call and you will bring passport and get your visa !!!!! he said the blonde lady was very nice . thanks everyone for your support i know i dont post much but im allways working or with my girls. But, if you want to be really sure they get it, use Priority or registered. Good luck for a speedy process. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Police certificate / NOA1	I have read many of you mention this "Police Cerificate" can you tell me what this and do we both need it and when we should get i got my NOA1 just last week.Would really love to know what my next step should be. Should i wait for them to send a request or start to get things ready and if so what kind of things should i prepare i know i need anything to do with my finances but how soon is to soon to get these papers and also what should he have ready there. I asked him to have an account so we could save money in it and show we are ready for when he gets here. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	had a thought	I looking for anyone who has dealt with this. I am divorced since Feb. I made a post awhile back that i didn't make enough to to be the sole sponsor but i didn't think of child support can this be used as income since its just since feb.And my proof is receipts i have given my ex because he wanted something to show he was paying. Also does it matter that he has the children about half of the time. our divorce just says joint custody.how much of this do they look at and would take in to account just wondering if anyone has had this experience with them .
