K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsNVC - still haven't received approved petition!!!!!
Mine, my i-130 approved on aug 13th. NVC recieved the docs on nov 12th. It took a lot of patient and prayer. But they said the max you can wait is 90 days but mine it took a little over of 90 days. Set your mind set that yours will take 90 days so it wont hurt that much.

PhilippinesI got my MNL CASE # at last!!! Thank you my VJ friends for all your help!!!

Thank you so much for your help. I have one problem. When I got the MNL case #, i was so excited that i told my fiance to go to BPI and pay the VISA . After paying $240, she hurriedly went home to fill up the DS-160 form not knowing that it requires a passport number, expiration date , etc., etc. She just had her passport renewed and won't get it until the first week of November. Her receipt says that it expires Oct 31,2013 but if you read the instructions, it says it expires 1 year. If you read the instructions on DS160 it clearly says that it expires in 6 months. So which is which??? I just hope that I dont have to pay another $240.cray5ol.gif cray5ol.gif cray5ol.gif

PhilippinesIt takes too long for K2 visa/passport release
It's almost 3 weeks since my son was interview at the Manila embassy . Here's the problem , i filled up the Ds 160 for 2go instead of , for delivery I chose for pick up in 2go at sm Bicutan paranaque metro Manila ,. . my sons had his interview last month feb 12 2014 , upon checking his status from USCIS it says READY when i tried to call 2Go for inquiries , they tell us to wait still on processing ??? Which is correct the status? from USCIS or from 2Go ?? So now I'm confused , I don't know which is the correct status of my son's visa I wrote an email to 2go to ask them the status of my son's visa? and I inform them that their branch 2go at sm Bicutan is already closed ... So where I can pick up my sons visa ? Can anybody help me I don't know what to do they will still deliver it to us or still I will pick it up to their office ??

I need your advise ..

PhilippinesQueries regarding form 1040/ITR for K1 visa
Hi everyone.

Was kinda sad coz my query brought some misunderstanding. But thanks.. not because I was a fan of the disagreement but because most responses were helpful.

Anyways, my k1 application was approved earlier today during my scheduled interview at USEM.

God bless.;)

PhilippinesQueries regarding form 1040/ITR for K1 visa
I have his earning statement from Nov.2013. Should he send me his other paycheck stubs aside from that?He hasn't filed his ITR yet. He said he usually does by February thus the most recent he has is his 2012 ITR. I'm also expecting to receive his bank statement and insurance receipts before this week ends.. Will it be ok @JA_Martinez?

PhilippinesQueries regarding form 1040/ITR for K1 visa
Hi everyone.
My interview with the Manila US embassy was scheduled on the 24th of January.. Next week it is (I'm getting nervousas the day goes by). The application process for the K1 visa started May 2013 and my fiance' sent me the needed documents like his ITR/form1040, W2 form and other pertinent papers. However his ITR was for the year 2012 because he hasn't filed his form1040 for 2013 yet. Should I still wait for his 2013 ITR or will the one he sent me will suffice?

Help...
Thanks heaps.

So, even if i make, for example, $80/ an hour, but if i just started working last month, after not working for a period of 4 years, i would require a relative for an affidavit of support so i could qualify to petition my fiance?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresCan I start I-129 with current tax situation?

Hi I am wondering if I can begin the I-129 process in the next couple of months but I am concerned because of my tax situation.  I lived and worked in Taiwan in 2010 and 2011 which resulted in my US tax returns below:

2010 - 20k (in Taiwan)

2011 - zero (in Taiwan)

2012 - 35k (returned to US in March '12)

I don't have any dependents so based off of 2012 taxes I cover the 125%. But I have heard that the consulate looks for consistency when it comes to the sponsor's income and concerned that my 2011 shows "zero".  I am still with the same employer that I started with in March '12 and my 2013 tax return once the year finishes should be around 75k.

I would like to begin the I-129 process in the next few months knowing that the (Affidavit for support I-134) ISN'T included in the initial (I-129 submission.)  My hope would be once that the USCIS approves my I-129 that I would have already completed my taxes for 2013 to strengthen my Affidavit for support when my fiance interviews with the consulate in Taiwan.

Does this approach make sense?  Any comments would be appreciated, thanks.
