Asia: East and PacificCambodia marriage need help
What do you mean I need to do a medical? I just requested my medical records from my family doctor and WOW. They sent me everything, at least 100 pages of records and logs. Did I get the wrong thing? Is there a certificate I can get from my doctor that just says I'm healthy? If so what's it called? Also, ####### i don't make $2500 a month. Is there a way around this like have cosigners? Or can I just go to Cambodia, have engagement ceremony, file k-1 and wait to marry here in the US. Will that work? All the ceremony stuff are being prepared now by our parents. I would hate to go there and have everything get cancelled. That would be embarrassing. HELP ME someone please.

Asia: East and PacificCambodia marriage need help
Hi all, I'm new here and need some help. My name is Sarith, I'm a US citizen and is going to Cambodia to marry my girlfriend in a couple months. I know nothing of how to get married. It is all being prepared by my parents and my girlfriend's parents. I was told that I needed to get some documents but is unsure how to obtain some of them. I got my work certificate, affidavit of single status, and medical records. Where do I get my criminal records from? Do I really need it? I've ask my local police department and it costs $10 just for them to show me my background. But they cannot give me a copy. So how do I get a copy for Cambodia? If the Embassy needs my criminal background can't they just look it up themselves? This is the only thing left on my to do list. Any help from anybody would be greatly appreciated.

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionI received interview letter, but fiance did not

So i received the appointment letter for my fiance interview. She has not received anything yet. Will she receive the letter too? Its been over 2 weeks since i received it. In the letter it says she needs to bring the letter to the interview, but she doesn't have the letter. Is this normal? Does only the petitioner receive all the letters? Should I fax her the letter I received? Thanks

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionFees for interview

Hi all,

I'm a bit confused of what fees need to be payed for the interview. My fiance interview date is coming up soon and i can't seem to find the correct fees and how or where to pay. We did a ds-160 form and is there a fee that had to pay for that also? When I did the 1st packet with i-129f, it told me how much the fee was. For every packet and form after that I don't see any fees.
