India	Visa issued, when will i receive my passport?	I called the regular embassy number and spoke with us citizens services and they transfered me. Between 2-4 @muzamil which courier and what number do u contact the courier service? I contacted the local courier in Pakistan. It's AEG aka American Express. My petitioner involved Congressmen in our case as we were not updated after interview since 17th July, 2012 for our K1 visa. The good news was that on 24th September, 2012 we were responded so nicely by our congressman that the visa had been approved and will be with me within a week's time. But it has been past a week and I just tried getting through the DOS which still say that the case is under AP which seems confusing since we were told the visa had been approved. He is waiting on the embassy to call him for an interview after having our petition reaffirmed and sent back to the embassy. At first I was so happy when USCIS reaffirmed our petition but now I am sad again and worried. I thought we would have an interview then be placed in AP. I never thought our case would go straight back into AP. My congressman emailed the embassy and was told they are looking over the documents we sent with our Notice of Intent to Revoke(NOIR) and then they will call my husband for an interview. Islamabad embassy is not known for speed. There is no telling how long we will be in AP this time. The last time we spent 16 months in AP before they denied our visa. I just wanted to share with you guys how unhappy I am right now. I know we are all in the same boat waiting to get out of AP. I pray AP ends soon for all of us. Did you try a senator or congressmen? How long after waiting in AP should we start to get concerned that our case might get denied. I'm worried that if were in AP so long than our case is denied, all that wasted time. Also, the linger in AP the more for concern? Your thoughts? There is deviation in the duration of the wait. Actually if you call the DOS help line and listen to their recording on AP, standard wait resolution is declared to be done within 60 days and at the end he says OR MORE DEPENDING ON THE CASE. In my case I waited the standard 60 days before my fiance took the case up with the congress man. So I think watch out for a minimum of 60 days and if you are more patient, then a maximum of 90 days will surely come up with results if it is positive and doesn't have red flags. I received word this morning from the congress man's office that my visa was stamped and my passport was couriered back to the courier on 4th of October. Upon visiting the courier today on 6th Oct, 2012, I found out that their is no such information they have which shows that the passport was sent back to them. I have responded back to the congress man for this. But for now I do not know where my passport is. It was not sent to the courier as the courier informed me. Yesterday she received the call to pick up her passport I just called DOS and they said congratulation visa was issued September 27.I just want to say that you guys had been a great help throughout this process I appreciated everything you guys have helped me in and Allah app sub ka visa MOULA HUSSAIN A.S. ke SUDKE MEIN juld se juld laga ke dey .Thank you. Keep contacting the DOS and checking the status for now. O ok we just sent an email to the congressmen. Actually we got a forwarded email by congressmen representative which showed a follow up that the visa for the petition filed had been approved. Umm yea my status appears there. Although my passport isn't there. It gives me the status of what the last entry they made to it. It works and yes it doesn't work on Mondays', tuesdays, wednesdays... That is what i have noticed. During these days i get no record found. Rest of the days my status appears The USCIS link is only for the i130 petition not after the interview checks.. it only works with your NOA number and wont see your NVC number so that one is only for the status before the interview to see if your i130 is approved the AEG site i dont know if it works... the one person i knew that got their passport back never showed up in that system it always said not found. Calling DOS and contacting the embassy right now are the only two ways of checking... soon there wil be another link that works from the dept of state that we can check but it wont be working until after the end of sept. https://ceac.state.g...ker/Status.aspx Here is that link... it says it should be working by the end of Sept Some people say that the CEAC link which is due to work by September end, shows status of online e-filled applicants only. My sixty days end on the 15th of this month. Apart from that, you can get in touch with DOS or check the status online at https://egov.uscis.g...is/Dashboard.do Or check if AEG got your passport using the following link: http://www.aegusvisa....aspx?PageID=17 DOS says its still in Administrative Processing and they don't have any other information. So im thinking to wait till the sixty days time limit expire then ill mention the link which says enquiry can be made after sixty days when I write to the US embassy although going through forums I have learned that they only reply with automated messages and never let you know exactly what duration could your case take. As my Fiancee is my cousin as well, so will she write it as "COUSIN" there in the "Relationship to the Sponsor" text box present there in the I-134 Form for K1 Fiancee visa or something else ? And in case we need her father as a co-signer there for the support, so shall his father would separately fill I-134, and what would he write there in "Relationship to the Sponsor", NEPHEW or something else ? Embassy told my husband that they have mailed the visa packet and when we asked AMEX they said they dont have it. But exactly after one week my husband went again and they told him they have it. Hi Muzammil, Usually American Express is the courier in Pakistan use by US Embassy to deliver Passport and Package to the Beneficiary. Check your local American Express office location to check if they have it with them OR they can tell you if they receive it yet or not.
