But now my head is swimming with so much info I want to change it but I need to make sure my fiance knows how to scan everything in pdf forms first. I will email her today and she will reply tomorrow morning my time. If the NVC has already mailed out the form is it too late to change? Also why dont they mention this option at all? US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Questions about NVC and Consulate (Guanzhou)	Ok I have put in alot of time looking into all this stuff getting ready for the interview and looking at the forms etc. I still have some questions though. 1. Is it at the NVC when I can choose to do electronic processing? How do I opt in for that? Call them up? 2. After choosing to opt in for electronic processing how do we go about packet 3? They have the DS230 or whatever that form is called so I assume if you fill that out online you dont need a mailing address label? What about the copy of her biography page on her passport? How can we file that electronically? 3. If you do online processing how do you provide a signature on any form???? 4. Does the police report need to be done in her hometown? Also I didnt see a form for them to fill out? do they just give you a copy of their report? 5. I heard once they say packet 3 has been sent it could take 3 weeks to arrive. I heard its ok if you send it back and it gets to the consulate the same day as it gets to her place its fine. Once they say its been sent (eventhough its just sitting in a pile somewhere) is it ok to send in your completed packet 3? also how does this apply to electronic processing? do they email her instead and she has to email them back? this electronic processing is confusing me some and i really couldnt find good directions about the filing on the guanzhou website. Sorry for so many questions but I am just trying to iron out the details since my application is at the NVC right now and I want to be done with this as quick as possible. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Waiting for NOA2 for I-129F	hear hear! totally agree. also you can call the choads at USCIS and escalate the call. say there has been an error in processing from the USCIS's side (true since they say on their website 5 months and it has clearly been longer than that). that will prompt them to do a service request to find out where your application is. Also, you can book an infopass appt with your local USCIS office. here you get to talk to an actual human USCIS officer who peers into your file and can tell if you there are any issues. they are not adjudicating officer; just can tell you if there's anything wrong. a lot of times that helps and they are also much nicer and can put in service requests too. often times this "jarrs" the system. the moment i did these things, I got an approval. as a matter of fact, last year march 15th, i had an infopass. march 16th, i got the email/text saying my case was approved. so go figure...all I know is that it worked. best of luck! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	I figured out which visa the VSC is working on	wait that receipt number isnt a k1..... all the different application types are processed differently and at different rates... yep but any time i put in a number lower it says final decision made. any time i put one higher up to my number (I guess you cant go higher than your own app) it says initial review. I had tried something similar like this last year when I was going through this, but I dont think they work in a serial manner (would make too much sense for these idiots!). While you're trying this, you should also do the infopass and speak to a human officer. Ya it just seems weird that everytime I type in a random number that is sequentially lower than the one I posted ending in 67 all say final decision made. All the ones after 66 still say initial review. I notice on some the dates were really crazy though. Like its sorted by receipt number and not necessarily date number. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	I figured out which visa the VSC is working on	Dont know if this is special or anything. But I am close to the 6 months waiting for my NOA2. So I went to USCIS and started typing in visas close to mine by changing the last two digits of my receipt number and found final decision activity on all of them. I got really close and found the exact point where they are approved and not approved. It looks like the next one in line is EAC1090678167. If anyone has a template, please message it to me. I’m past the 5 month mark. Usually they have a privacy form you have to fill out on their website under their contact tab. After you submit it you can call and ask to speak to their person that works on immigration stuff. I just explained my situation over the phone and they tried to call the VSC. I talked to a Senators office and a congressmans office. However, the VSC told both of them they cant help until I had reached 6 months. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	since i am being forced to wait longer...	How do you like the p90x Does it work as well as advertised I just oredered it gonna start this weekend. I am 6'2 250 would like to get down to about 225 think it will work? Ya it works very well for cutting weight, if YOU FOLLOW IT EXACTLY! No cheating on the diet is mostly what i mean. Even after 90 days there were a couple of exercises I couldnt do (mostly in yoga). I went from 18% bodyfat down to about 12%. I finally had 6 pack abs for the first time in my life. I only gained a little muscle but my back gained ALOT. I only lost 10 lbs but I was already pretty light (5'8 145) and I think the muscle gains kept my weight up. My friends and family started worrying about me saying I was looking too skinny when I finished. Also it gets pretty repetitive after a while but just stick with it. its only 90 days. One more thing. After doing more research on bodybuilding.com some of the more serious people on there say the diet that p90x gives you isnt so great but it's ok for beginners. I am trying a new diet this time around based on research on bodybuilding.com. If you have any questions let me know. I put in a service request last week and I was supposed to hear something on Monday. I didnt, so I had my Senators office call them yesterday. They approved my expedite and said I will hear a decision in the next 7 days. Our case is nothing special so if you have an NOA1 at the same day as me or earlier and keep getting denied for a service request or expedite. Dont give up because they gave one to me. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	What can be done to put pressure on VSC?	I know we are still in the processing time, but i wasnt asking about our case. We are willing to wait for our time to come, but the processing time is getting longer and longer. Why those who have filed in September havent been approved yet (even the VJ members?). October? ... How can CSC work on January and February and Vermont is still stuck on September? Im sure that they share those files, so its not like all of them go to Vermont. So the problem is at Vermont ... CSC is doing their job, but on the other hand, Vermont isnt. People dont even get an RFE before 6 months anymore, which means, for 6 months, those files havent been even touched. If Vermont cant do the job, then its about time they start sending files to other centers cause its really not right to see the difference between VSC and CSC, both under USCIS, and completely different in the way and the ability to do their work. I am not sure if they share files. I was under the impression its just divided by whichever state you live in regardless of the load one center gets over the other. I have another question When I set up my account on USCIS, I had a problem with it and to make a long story short I ended up submitting my information twice. I know it said if you submit it twice you wont get emails about updates. And sure enough they never emailed me about the NOA2. So my question is how will I know when the NVC is done with my application? Is there something that will update that I can check? Or do they work off a different system and will email me anyway?
