They asked several questions but they were easy and the interviewers were nice. I can't wait to talk to her tonight and get all the details. She is very happy. Now I can go visit her at Christmas and bring her home with me on January 3. It's a wonderful feeling. I don't think I will be able to work the rest of the day. I am a little concerned because I've been catching up on the forum and see most everyone going through the NVC in about 5 days. Visa by Christmas, Visa by Christmas.. yes we can yes we can!! the normal time from NOA2 to interview for our consulate is 3 months at best and 4 for most... I would have to get an NOA2 by next month to see a christmas visa, best case... it really depends on how fast we can get through VSC and then how fast the consulate can get us through that end... every consulate is different.... it takes a couple of weeks to get from USCIS to the consulate w/o AP.. and here is a link to see what times are normal at the consulate.. recent consulate stats past 90 days I hadn't seen that link yet. Does the bank statement show it? Thank you! Lu When they cash your check. They put a 10 digit number on the back of the check. It will start with EAC followed by seven numbers. Get that number then go to this link. http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis On the right side of the page. you will see where there is a section that says "Check Case Status" Put that EAC # in there. You will then need to create an account similar to the way you did for Visa Journey. You will then be able to see your case. I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions. Good Luck!!!!
