USCIS Service Centers	What is vermonts problem	Hello everyone, Like so many of you stuck with VSC we are filing K-1 and waiting for our NOA2. I recently contacted the NVC and only got automated system ( NEVER GOT TO A REAL PERSON). It told me nothing that we already didn't know. I also notice that Vermont posted its monthly update and it is still boasting 5 months. We are currently at 163 day and counting I realize there are a lot of people ahead of us that have not been approved also. So I plan to at least attempt to do something about it by contacted my state senator. If any of you have any website to anyone higher than that please send it my way. I would like so much to help all of us out not just me if CSC can get it done in 116 why cant VSC. USCIS Service Centers	Things that make you go hmmmm	Hello Everyone Even though vsc is a little slow today it is nice to see them starting to move. I would really like to see how they file applicant and pick from them as their date for approval comes up. At time i believe it is totally random other time it seems they start at the alphabet by country. There have been many with the same date as mine but are closer to the beginning of the alphabet ( we are still waiting). I was just wondering if anyone else has notice this.Not saying that this is the case just trying to figure out how they choose who what when and where.If i could figure it out then hey i could be rich lol. USCIS Service Centers	Important info for all waiting NOA2 FROM NVC!!!!	Hello everyone, I contacted the NVC yesterday about my case. The gentleman I spoke with was very nice and patient. He took the time to explain some things to me that all of you waiting might find helpful while you wait. First of all VJ .com is not official website of the USCIS. On VJ .com the current processing time is March 14. The official USCIS is current time is Feb 27 that is the date they go by. So if your case is before Feb 27th then you should contact them they process by month more than by the date that is why approvals are so random like one is approved withe date 3/8 the next is approved 3/26. So if your date is between the 2 then then they are working on your block but just haven't got to your case yet. USCIS update its offical website about the middle of each month. I hope you all waiting find this useful info. He also stated once approved thing go much faster and more interaction between you and the USCIS. USCIS Service Centers	Emailed the president...	I know how you feel we are on day 168 or week 24 .All i can tell you is hang in there. It will pass by the way at the 180 day mark i will contact my senator. What website did you use for the president . I might email him as well. At worst it will do nothing. I stayed off this website all weekend. The more I observe what is going on concerning vermont the angrier I get. And I am talking ANGRY! Ruin my weekend, want to punch someone, need a drink kind of angry. Not just one drink either.. I'm talking 3 or 4. Please, before you say "YOU ARE A MAY FILER! Relax." try to remember how long we have all been waiting to be with our loved one in general. I can't speak for everyone, but my fiancé and I have been apart for a year and a half. We have seen each other a total of 5 weeks during this time. One trip to America (harassed at POE) .... Another trip to America (denied at POE. Is it his Turkish name? I mean really.) .... and lastly my trip to Europe. Those were the best two weeks of my life, I would give anything to experience it again. Okay now I am tearing up. Here is the email I sent Mr. Obama, maybe a few others might take the same action: Hello Mr. President. I am writing (and in tears) side note: bring on the drama! concerning the USCIS Vermont office. Vermont's processing dates claim 5 months for I-129F K1 visas, however the patiently waiting public is aware they are going far beyond that 5 month time frame to approve petitions. When inquiring on the matter, the reps explain (and have been for weeks) that they are currently processing petitions from January or early February. California USCIS is moving at a much faster rate, already approving petitions from JUNE for K1 Visas!!! Its very difficult to comprehend why some cases can't be transferred to CSC to help with Vermonts horrible workload. Myself and many others who have connected via the website visajourney.com are very concerned, upset, angry and down right miserable. The CSC filers essentially receive "expedited" service while paying the same monetary fee! It is very financially and emotionally straining waiting for our loved ones to get here, let alone get past the first step!!! I myself have had anxiety/panic attacks and depression due to not being able to see my fiancé in months. Traveling to see each other is just not possible anymore on our budget. We and thousands of others are trying to get our loved ones here the legal and right way. I respect our country and the process to bring a loved one here, however there is just no reason for the time differentials. Can anything be done? We really need your help in this matter. Thank you. So, long story short.. I am not expecting a reply. Maybe if I called him Barry or sent the email to Kenya I might hear something. Sorry, trying to make myself laugh. Not working. My story goes like this: I got married on 2008 but my marriage didn't work out and broke up on 2010. But no legal separation nor annulment filled. I met my Fiance on May 2011. My X husband died due to sudden unexpected nocturnal death syndrome on December 2011. Even I was separated with him I still attended the funeral and burial and even signed as informant on his death cert. My fiance filled K-1 petition on March 10, 2012. Philippines	How soon is TOO SOON?	We have a similar time frame. We are almost ready for her interview we chat everyday and we have discussed many topic. We are both close in age she is 35 and I am 41 which I think is a plus. But only you and her can deside when you are ready this jounney will take at least 6 months and up to 1 year. I suggest that you are both honest and realistic with each other and have some money set aside as the visa medical and plane ticket are expensive. But to answer your question so far we have had no problems with the government so far. I wish you the best of luck to the both of you!!!!! Would applying for a K-1 visa after only knowing each other 7 months and 1 visit be TOO SOON in the eyes of the USCIS? Has anyone here applied within the same time frame and been approved? While I don't want to make a mistake by being impatient, I would also rather not delay starting the process any longer than necessary. Thanks in advance for your feedback. It only took a few minute to get through make sure you have enough money for the exit tax from Manlia. Her interview in Honolulu POE was 20 min wait time and all. Like many of you here Mira and I read many difficult and heartbreaking stories while we patiently wait for our NOA2. While the wait is difficult and the red tape seems never ending. Let us not forget why we started this journey in the first place. EVERLASTING LOVE......... As any single parent will tell you finding that special someone is even harder when children are involved. I count myself as one of the blessed few to have found that special someone. Being a single mother herself Mira still find time for me and for my sons as well everyday. After over 7 years of not have a real positive female in their lives I can honestly say that in the almost year we have been dating I can see a real positive change mostly in my youngest son. She always set aside an hour a day to chat ,joke , encourage and even disipline him. His whole attitude has been a change for the better at school and at home. So to all you step mothers to be you have my deepest respect the time you do spend with your future step children DOES MATTER!!!!I It is as important as the time you spend with your fiancee.
