United Kingdom	Interview today.....VISA APPROVED!!!!!!	i got some question for you..is it ok if my fiancee dnt hve my 2006 W2 as a supporting documents?will it not affect the approval or will it cause delay on her visa?i lost my 2006 W2.... If you don't have your 2006 W-2 and if its your only support claim for income, yes it would pose a problem, request tax transcripts now from the IRS, and highlight the necessary areas! I can't wait til I see her, I'm going to spank her butt for joking around with me like that, nearly gave me a heart attack, (putting on a fake cry and saying hon, I don't know what to do, me and jen failed), then I said, "What!", then she said, "Joke!" US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Time is drawing near for our interview on 8/13/2007	Wow, I can't believe that the time is almost here, and by each passing day, the more nervous I get, I'm more nervous then my precious Sharon. It relieves some pressure off of her as well as myself with her going to the interview with a dear friend we met here on VisaJourney.com, thanks Mitch & Jen, you both have been awesome through this whole process! I think I have her over prepared, especially reading testimonals from other members on approvals and denials. The greatest fear that we all have is of the fear of getting denials and what we should do if that was to happen! I think it would be unbearable especially during the whole waiting and enduring process. Its really sad that a person has your life in the balance of their decision making ability, or should I say, if they woke up on the good side of the bed. I have my sharon so organized, she has labeled folders for everything, going back to my military roots. We practice every other night rehearsing questions, like if I'm the CO and shes the interviewee. I firmly believe in being over prepared, at least I know that we gave it our all. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Our Interview Experience	My Sharon's Interview Experience: i hardly got some sleep the night before my interview because of anxiousness, i thought my heart went up to my neck coz breathing was kinda difficult! haha! the documents i had with me are the following: Silly Girl's USE Layout information - can be found in Sheriff Uling's Manila Embassy's K1 Visa Guide original appointment letter 2 sets of DS157, 1 of it is BPI validated for payment 2 sets of DS156 - computer generated with the same barcode, 2x2 photo glued in the form already 1 copy of DS156 Original Birth Certificate from NSO NBI Clearance Cenomar - Certificate of No Marriage Notarized Form I-134 - Affidavit of Support Form 1040 w/W-2's (2006 only) 6 months pay stubs 3 years of bank statements employment letter Original NOA2 and NVC letter chat logs photocopy of engagement ring receipt latest USC petitioner's letter of intent money transfer receipts (Western Unions & Xooms) mail receipts album of photos hotel confirmation & reservation plane tickets & boarding pass Me and my new friend Jen arrived at the embassy around before 5:00am, we were the 32nd and 33rd persons in line and i thought it was God's blessing for us to go early to the interview..and indeed it was.. at 6:15am, the USEM guard went to the waiting area and called the 7:30 applicants. We were 32/33 in line, the guard asked us to prepare the appointment letter and a valid id, so i was already inside the USEM waiting area at 5:30. at 6:15, all applicants were requested to line up to go through the xray conveyor, by the way NO MOBILE PHONES or ANY ELECTRONIC DEVICES allowed inside the embassy. at 6:45, we were instructed by the guard to line up to get a number stub and i submitted the appointment letter and all DS forms then i got my number stub (my lucky number 7032) at 7:30, my name was called (take note NAMES will be called and not the number) to go to window 33..you will be asked to present your number stub but remember to bring it back with you afterwards.. at 8:05, my number flashed on the queue board and it's time for my pre-screening (from 7:30 to 8:05 i was so damn nervous, what i did was pray & hold on to my rosary & sto. nino)..the filipina lady pre-screener at window 25 was so nice! she only asked for my birth certificate & my nbi clearance then asked me the following questions: who petitioned you? how did you met? when was the last time you saw him? were you married before? do you have kids? at this question, i told her that i have my cenomar with me and asked her if she likes to have it but she gently told me that there is no need do you have photos together? so i showed my album full of photos & she just asked me to flip the pages & she said okay! Then she asked who were the other filipinas in the photo and explained to her that they were cousins of my fiance. so i asked her again if she likes to take some of our photos but she then again gently told me no need & i just have to show it later to the consular officer then that was it, she told me to wait again for my number to be called/flashed.. yay! i'm so happy that my pre-screener was so nice!! the screening actually only lasts for a couple of minutes! at 10:00, my number flashed on the queue board & finally it's time for my consular officer interview..i was on window 33 and my CO was a lady..when she said my name, i told her yes maam & smiled and she smiled back...im so glad that she smiled back because it cooled me down..i was so nervous & felt that my heart was on my neck luckily, she was nice and asked me these questions: who petitioned you? what is your fiance's job? when was the last time you saw each other? how did you meet and when? where do you intend to live when you arrive in the us? and some other funny questions about my fiance then she said okay with a smile, and said congratulations you are approved and stamped the pink slip! after 5 minutes, my number flashed again & i went to window 37 for releasing, the lady just asked me to pay delbros. so i proceeded to delbros to pay the fee, paid Php165.00 for metro manila and so i left the embassy with Jen to have lunch!! IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE OVERPREPARED THAN OTHERWISE..just sharing some applicants encountered some glitches so we all know what to avoid: applicant did not fill up the DS forms applicant was not able to pay the visa fee at BPI applicant worked abroad but did not secure police clearance applicant did not submit notarized affidavit of support petitioner's income based on W2 & 1040 did not meet poverty guidelines I hope this helps! Philippines	Mylene was approved .. supposedly	Mylene texted me at about 11:30 manila time and said that the consular officer wrote approved on her documents, BUT he also said that Ashleys passport wasnt' received from St. Lukes yet .. I called St. Lukes and they said it was sent out on June 19th .. hmmm .. Trying to call the embassy, but noone is in the Immigrant Visa section from 12:20 to 1:00 manila time (lunch) On top of that .. I sent a letter to Mylene asking the consular officer to allow her to pick up the visas in person so that she could fly out on the flight that I booked for next Monday .. but she was too shy to give it to him. I'm sure now that Delbros won't have the visas to her in time to be on the flight so that is a hotel reservation down the drain and a flight schedule that has to be changed. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Got my first touch yesterday, I hope thats good!	I got all happy, when I saw this "touch", because your timeline is similar to mine and Nagi's....so I quickly logged on to USCIS and checked my status. No change!!!! Sux! Oh well, I knew it was a long shot even before I logged on the site....but I just couldn't help myself. Back to reality. -P I did the same and it pretty much confirmed my suspicions. NOTHING. Business as usual. I don't know if this makes a difference but my representative filled my forms in red paper instead of white, maybe appearence attracts the eye! Not sure what you mean by filling the form in red paper?? Red paper, instead of standard white, was used when printing out the completed I-129 and G-325A? With the black ink?? It could be eye catching, you're right, but not sure how easily legible that is. I guess it depends on how red the paper is? I guess while there are no clear instructions as to the color of the paper to be used when sending in the application....I'm just not sure that is very business-like to use a different color paper. Anyways, good luck w/ your touch. Hope its good news for you. I got all happy, when I saw this "touch", because your timeline is similar to mine and Nagi's....so I quickly logged on to USCIS and checked my status. No change!!!! Sux! Oh well, I knew it was a long shot even before I logged on the site....but I just couldn't help myself. Back to reality. -P I did the same and it pretty much confirmed my suspicions. NOTHING. Business as usual. I don't know if this makes a difference but my representative filled my forms in red paper instead of white, maybe appearence attracts the eye!
