Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionAll Service Centers Serving Apps for 2007....
So it seems that all of the Service Centers are behind in processing the I-751...so does that mean that everyone that is applying now will get a one year waiver?

I have to apply for my husband's in May 2008 to the Nebraska Service Center....we are planning a trip for August 2008 to Europe....so with the USCIS being so behind, it seems that they will have to give everyone extensions for 1 year until they finish the processing???

any insight would be helpful....

thanks.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionNSC - NOA and Biometrics Appt were quick
Just to give an update.... had sent my husband's I 751 package on 5/21/08 to Nebraska Service. Within one week received the NOA. After that, today we received the biometric appointment for next week. I am surprised how quickly this is going.. its not like the USCIS to be on time. :-) The Service Center on the biometric appointment says WSC... not sure what is. Anybody know?

Anyway, I am hoping that the 10 year Green Card will come soon after.... **fingers crossed**

Thought this might cheer others up who are also in the same "uscis waiting" boat. :-)

All the best!

Thanks for your help, hopefully will recieve my biometrics appointment soon....... whistling.gif

We received our biometric appointment two days ago and still our case status is not updated. So I am not sure really if after getting your biometric if your case status is updated immediately or if takes a few days after that.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresLetter(s?) of consent..
Hi, I have a question about applying for a K-1 visa:

Do I need letters of consent from my fiance's as well as my parents? I am 20 and my fiance is 21. Also, my parents are divorced, and I've since lost contact with my father. If I need a letter of consent, will his signature be required?

Also, is a part-time job alright as long as I have a co-sponsor? I am studying legal transcribing right now and only have a part time job.. I don't know if this is acceptable or not.
