US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	PREPARING DOCUMENTS FOR THE INTEVIEW	thanks.. now that's my problem.. hehe.. not sure if i can secure it at NSO office without his authorization letter... they really need authorization and ID, "just a scanned copy" and the signature should be desame from the authorization letter... but girl just have him all scanned...even the authorization letter, just tell the NSO he is your fiance...i took mine for like 10mins only...i went to the main NSO office here in my area...you might also have NSO office there...or if you want you can call them and payment is bank to bank have it delivered para walang mga authorization...but im not sure if how many days it will take to your door... US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	PREPARING DOCUMENTS FOR THE INTEVIEW	Hi! I'll be having my interview 3 days after you, as far as all the documents you prepared, you're good to go. I just wanna ask, how will you organize all that stuff? When you say folder A-D, that means, you will bring 4 folders? yes, i have 5 folders in different sections,,il just put all those in a plastic envelope, the one that has a handle, i think you are familiar with that,,,what i wrote here earlier, is how axactly i organized my documents and each document has its own index tab, labelled at the side, so, whatever documents the CO will ask from me....its easy to pull the paper off...and i wont be have a hardtime looking for it, esp were kinda feeling nervous or something infront of the officer...you can buy an index tab or post it at the national bookstore and label it , if you want...its very organized, just dont stick the index tab to the original document have another blank band paper at the back where you can stick your tab or "post it". this idea looks neat and safe...i learned this from a friend who had her interview done already and taught us how she organized hers...hope this also helps... US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	DS-156 Electronic Form	Whenever I go to this website http://evisaforms.state.gov/ to fill out the DS-156, I get the following message displayed: Your system may not meet the minimum requirements. The following problem(s) have been detected: * Your browser does not appear to meet the minimum required version. * You do not appear to have the minimum required version of Adobe Acrobat installed. But I have the latest version of Firefox (on a Mac) and the latest version of Adobe. So I tried it anyway, filled out the form and clicked "continue" but after waiting for over 10 minutes nothing happened, no PDF file was created as it said it would so I figured it doesn't work. Anyone know how to get around this or what I can do to make it work? hello...i had desame problem with yours before but i found a solution...used the google browser not in yahoo...and it works...try to link all the forms in google then you can have it,,that was also my problem then...but i just had all my forms done already... hope it helps..goodluck.. Philippines	how many hrs to wait before bpi payment made activated?	Hi guys, based on your experience how long before you were able to sched your interview online? I am having a hard time scheduling mine, its says "no service fee can be found". I read somewhere that payment is activated after 4 hrs. we trying to call usem also but unfortunately cant get trhough at this time. patienceeee hmmmm... hi dear,,,base on my experience it took 10hrs to get my BPI payment activated...coz i payed at 11am then it took effect at 9pm...dont worry you can call the embassy until 10pm today..just call them before they close...im pretty sure u can be scheduled... Philippines	CFO	yes sandali lang it would take 10-15 mins of wait,, then they`ll give you your green certificate and a sticker on your visa...id advice you to go at PRISM on their morning sched and be there at least 30mins before time...id say better morning sched so youd still have enough time for your sticker in the afternoon coz prism`s afternoon sched will be finished at 3:30 to 4pm and you might get traffic on going to CFO...CFO will close at 5pm...better be safe.... Its on question 9 and 10,and he put a snowpake on the date and corrected it.Is this ok? i dont think its ok, coz its in the instructions under penalties that says, any concealing of material fact with i134 will cause a denial of the application,,, if i were you i will secure a new one with no erasures... Philippines	Hi VJs!	does bocobo hotel has their internet access? did you know city state hotel? how close is that to st.luke? yes they have 24hours internet access foe free...they have their own wifi...i think city state mas malayo sya compare sa bocobo...napaka lapit lang talaga nang bocobo and its clean...theres 2 pension houses nearer but no free internet you have to pay like 100 per hour and the price difference is just 200 or something...not worth coz their building looks old too...and i need a 24 hour free internet.. casa bocobo is very clean if you make a reservation few days prior sa check in date mo they will give you special price or if youl will stay 3 successive days they will also give discount...their regular rate for single room is 1,950 but they gave it to me 1,700 something only...i really like it there... Philippines	Hi VJs!	i would suggest suggest CASA BOCOBO HOTEL the price is very affordable and very very clean,.the bathroom is so clean too.. free buffet breakfast and the food is great, its really near st. lukes its 2mins walk from the hotel to st. luke theyre actually in the same street...and its also near to the embassy...,you wont really regret, i stayed there when i had my medical and il come back there again on my interview this july, i wont find another place anymore coz i might just regret. their hotel is very convenient to atm places, food places, 24hour convinience stores.. I am planning to have my medical on thursday (June 23) at SLEC, and i have learned that they are close on friday (June 24) due to holiday.. My question is, since medical exam requires 2 days, will they allow me to come on Monday? Thank you so much... yes, since the clinic is open from monday through friday except on holidays...if you`ll be having on the 23rd then you can come back on the next office days...coz 1st day is a full medical, like eye checking, vital signs, chest xray, physical exam and immunization interview, if you pass all these then your 2nd day is the result or vaccination already...in my case i had my medical done last june 6 and i wasnt able to wait for the result coz i went home to negros, but i will just come back for my vaccination on day before my interview and that would be on july 11... its fine for as long as you`ll be vaccinated prior to the interview...this is what the slec adviced me coz i live far... Philippines	CFO Passed!!!	its just a seminar, they will really give all the applicants a certificate and sticker coz its a philippine mandatory. they will just tell you during the seminar that some will pass and others not, and it depends, actually its not true, coz CFO really intends to issue those certificates and stickers for as long as we attended a seminar, its just an intructions or directions of the POE and telling us some situations in the U.S... im done with mine too and nothing to worry wether you will pass or not. coz they will really issue that coz its a mandatory. and yeah, just provide all the requirements and attend the seminar then you could get a certificate right away and stickers when you already have a visa. Sorry I have a lot of questions, I m just starting to make myself busy. thanks again =) as soon as you received your NVC letter stating your MNL case number you can start your medical already and after couple of days after receiving your NVC letter you can follow up the manila embassy if your MNL case number is already uploaded in to their system and if it is there already then you can pay the visa fee at the BPI bank and have your interview sched already you can do it online appointment or by calling manila us embassy...but for now you can start gather all these while waiting for your NVC letter...photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/19452/public/Revised K1 Instruction Packet _3__rtf2_001.pdf its a K1 packet....dont wait for your eligibility letter coz it takes forever to arrived ,,as soon as you have your MNL CASE NUMBER already, a few days after, you can start calling manila us embassy for your case follow ups...goodluck and hope it helps... you can save 1 month time for this...and this is what i did... Philippines	Did not do psychological exam/test during my medical	Hi all, I just want to share the good news that I have. I passed my medical exam last June 22, thank God Almighty! and also did not do the psychological exam/test that annulled woman should take. I guess I got lucky with the doctor that did my physical exam. She read my annulment papers and see that it is my husband who is psychologically incapacitated and not me maybe that is why she decided that I no longer need to take psycho tests/exam. It will not be a big deal for me though but still it made my day My interview date is on July 15th! Need your prayers again. Philippines	NBI and/or Police Clearance	Hi VJ members! I hope someone can help me here. We are already preparing our DS-230 form. Does my wife need both NBI and Police clearance or Police Clearance only? She just applied for NBI Clearance for her passport which is one of the requirements. Is it possible to apply for another NBI clearance even though you just applied recently, or there's a certain time for applying another NBI Clearance? I really have no idea how this work.
