Philippines	Divorce Decree Copy	I sent in my I-129 with a photocopy of my divorce decree. I then sent an exact copy of the I-129 packet to Daisy, so she has another copy of my divorce decree. It appears that my original copy of my divorce decree is also a photocopy, as both the signatures and official court seal do not seem to be inked. Daisy has her interview next Wednesday, and is now concerned that she will need a Certified True Copy of the divorce decree, something I don't think I ever got. Remember this "Even the falling of leaves has its own reason". hi there..i dont think ull undergo same tests again during ur medical if u wont announce or if the doctor will miss lookin at ur marital status from ur PDS form..but even so, u were not declared by the court as psych incapacitated..twas ur X hubby as u mentioned so i dont think ull be required to do so.. yeah ive been through that series of tests during my annulment process, it took me several sessions on 3 different appointments..including that childish drawing thing they instructed me to do...and calculations...to name few.. and my X hubby declined to be tested so the psychologist just gave up and instead focused more on me since i was the petitioner.. My only concern is if the psychologist will force me to show the confidential report made by my psychologist here..says confidential..perhaps i have the right not to show it to him unless SLEC presents a court order..anyway they wanna test me for reasons like if i am mentally healthy enough to be with my fiance and that I wont be a public charge in the US..so in my strong opinion, he must assess me based on who i am now and not of who i was during my marriage with my X...i hope u agree with me... i appreciate ur post......thanks daisy	LaneAndDaisy	Female	Philippines	2009-10-31 10:41:00

Btw who was the doctor who did youre physical exam? is it Dr.Jan ? her cubicle is the last cubicle. [/quote] thanks for the post...i happened to be under the torture chamber of Dr. Room 7....i dont know her alias...in fairness she is a pretty doctor and seemed nice from the start but after she found i was annulled, she immediately asked who the petitioner of the case and under what ground/s..thats it and from that moment on, she was like sauteing me over high heat..gawd, i dont wanna recall..but i think ill be fine...wish me luck that i wont undergo a battery of psych tests again, but instead just an interview... thanks... Philippines	SLEC Personal Evaluation for annulled beneficiaries	here is my original post.. hi guys..i just would like to ask if its a STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE to undergo a Personal Evaluation Test/Interview with SLEC's Psychologist when ur annulled under "psychological incapacity"..I happened to be annulled under this ground but both my X filipino hubby and I. However, my lawyer explained to me that its not that I am insane nor violent or unfit to have future relationship but just merely incapacitated to be with my X hubby...If I was insane, the first one to terminate me is my local department where i am workin now. Besides, the local psychologist tried her best to reach out for my X hubby at home and work but to no avail..so since i was the petitioner of the case, i happened to be her target..pity... ..anyway..i didnt realize that this could mean a real big issue..but at least i was annulled in a legal way... When i had my medical last Oct. 27, the P.E. doctor knew i was annulled from the front page of the PDS under marital status. I didnt deny that and was confident because i have legal annulment papers. Unfortunately, in my Decree which she asked from me, it was stated there both petitioner and respondent of the annulment case was psychologically incapacitated, she turned to me and said "ITS AN SOP TO UNDERGO A PERSONAL EVALUATION TEST FROM SLEC'S PSYCHOLOGIST...so now ive to be back in Manila and undergo the test at SLEC on the 10th of November at 8am after which, 2-3 days, i'll get the result(hopefully) together with my medical result. Moreover, I am supposed to have my Interview on Nov. 5 as set but i refunded my ticket...If only there were posts like this before, i would have thought on what to answer the doctor.. Now, I am wondering if someone or anyone from this site had undergone same procedure or am I the first ever to experience this??and how long did it take before the result was out? And if its a red flag or a possibility of being denied or put under AR at the USEM? Ive lots of speculations and mixed thoughts after that incident...what if i didnt show the papers to that doctor who pretended to be a lawyer? i might still pass the medical but what if the Pre-screener will read my annulment decree during the interview and see that im also incapacitated and will put me under AR for not telling SLEC about it, the longer im gonna wait...right??? well that same day after i was told by the doctor at slec, i couldnt think well and just cried coz i never heard nor read posts with same case like mine thats why i was so naive or maybe stupid enough to be too honest..at that spur of the moment i thought honesty was not always the best policy...sometimes we need to lie for our sake,,,but im sure, if its God's plan to let that doctor know, its a way to warm me up or prepare me for more debating and interrogation at USEM....now i realized i shouldnt be that freakin worry-wart.. as they say--""things happen for a reason""..and i believe it now..but again, i need to pray that ill pass this ordeal and have immeasurable patience...i feel a lil better today than the past days, honestly so for those of u who are annulled and fall under same grounds, please just be honest..better than being denied or caught unaware at the USEM...two weeks aint that long to wait than bein put under AR/AP for several weeks or months... Philippines	What delivery service does the US Embassy use?	hi sage...i never received a packet from USEM for more than a month now...but my friend who lives in the same city where I live got it via DHL...im sure ur fiancee heard about it...just so u know Air21 is for local/domestic deliveries and FEDEX, the sister company is for international deliveries..well, thats how Air21 courier works here in my city... im not sure where u are now as far as ur K-1 journey is concerned but if i were u, better not to expect for the packet to arrive via mail...coz u can download all forms (156-157-156k) and instructions from the USEM website... http://manila.usemba...ov/wwwfk1en.pdf as for ur interview date, a week after u got the NVC letter, call USEM and they will right away send u or ur fiancee the confirmation email....that will suffice everything...just dont forget other important letters and proofs btw,,as per reading, its Air21 that will deliver ur girl's visa after a successful interview ... good luck to ur fiancee Sage1 Edited by LaneAndDaisy, 26 November 2009 - 06:24 AM. Philippines	Made it through the sputum nightmare	hi there...im sorry to hear about the sputum test of ur fiance... i also had a painful ordeal at slec...its bcoz of my annulment grounds...they just dont deal with medical/health problems of visa applicants..they told me grounds such as psycho. incapacity should be interviewed by their psychiatrist and if not satisfied, must take the 600 item personality and IQ tests..so i had to fly back and forth to their clinic for a month and my supposed interview date was last Nov. 5 but was moved due to all the tests they told me to take ( pls. see my timeline below...) but i called last friday (nov. 20) and slec told me the nearest int. date they can give me is dec. 4 which isnt bad...so ill go back for my immunization on dec. 1 and then int. on the 4th...i can actually head off and get my shots but sir clark told me to do it close to my int. date since m living in mindanao.. my only guess is once a visa applicant has a problem at slec and had original interview schedule, they will prioritize them for the interview..just try to call and inquire ,,,i can give u the # of Sir Clark, the one in charge at Counter M where sputum applicants/further evaluation are being assessed..he is the one who will let u know the updates when u gonna have the immunization and int....here are the tel#s but pls. bear in mind that its hard to get through..so be patient---02 524-6083 ; 02-521-8647 local 105... good luck to ur fiance and hope he can have it soon... daisy Edited by LaneAndDaisy, 24 November 2009 - 01:16 AM. Philippines	Anybody from Waukesha, WI here?	hi..just would like to ask if there are some Filipinas already there or soon to live with their "honeys" in Waukesha, Wisconsin..that's where Im goin on the 18th of December..Id love to meet u there ...It pays to have Filipina friends there u know... wow..I couldn't believe myself that next Friday I'll be leaving for US..everything was unexpected--the visa approval and delivery--twas fast..I thought it would be like 6 wks coz I was under AR..and now the departure date since all other PAL flights are full due to peak season.... I am very excited to be with my fiance Lane coz I love him so much and wanna be part of his daily living and activities.Its our dream....Finally, its going to happen very soon...but I will miss celebrating my Christmas with my family and friends here in Zamboanga...But sooner or later I will still leave them...I would like to thank the Lord for giving me a very supportive family and trusting friends... Philippines	AIRLINE TICKET	hi Llyne...I cant answer #1 question coz honestly, I dont know but for ur second question regarding online booking::: Fiance booked an online ticket for me this afternoon via PAL website using his credit card. And in minutes, it was sent to my email and I presented it to PAL Office and I was given an e-ticket with the logo..I presented my fiance's photocopies of 1.) front and back of the credit card he used 2.) driver's license....But the guy at PAL just checked and returned it to me..He said Ill just need to present them at the counter on the 18th..Friend, I tell you when i tried booking at the local travel agency here, all they can say is its "FULL"....and the ones they got is on Business Class and Economy on the 20th of January..wow...but when fiance checked online, it was still available...but everyday the price moves up...check PAL online pls...My OW ticket to LAX from MNL cost him around $1208. I also tried to ask about the First Time Immigrant Promo and its only up to December 25th..Geez, I dont wanna fly on Christmas Day... I hope we fly together...but my poe is LAX..... Can someone be patient enough to list down the things I need to bring...I dont wanna be in US and only to find out I missed bringing some pertinent dox 2.) What are some possible questions to be asked at the POE??? Is the LAX Immigration personnel very strict??Could u please share ur experience here? and how long did it go before u finally get through?? Philippines	FINALLY IM WITH FIANCE HERE IN USA...but.....	hello everyone..im finally up here in the snowy part of waukesha, WI...we arrived last night from LA..its so cold out here..but no blizzard here..thank goodness...we aint affected...but im sure i can manage... im so touched by all ur replies here regarding the loss in the family...he is one great uncle priest of mine....my mom couldn't stop crying..he was her fave brod...but we have to deal with life's ups and downs..im in the middle of too much happiness and too much sadness..but im so lucky that my fiance and soon to be hubby is very supportive of me and my family and what we are going through now.. ur effort alone to send me ur condolences thru VJ is a great help..im now recovering...thank u and hope to hear from u again when we will start the AOS..im still in the verge of adjusting myself in fiance's place and family... muchas gracias (thank you) daisy and lane	LaneAndDaisy	Female	Philippines	2009-12-20 12:06:00

Philippines	FINALLY IM WITH FIANCE HERE IN USA...but.....	Hello everyone..Im in US now with my fiance..At the moment we are still in LA but soon to leave for WI...I arrived last night and the PAL flight PR 102 was really nice in terms of food, accomodation, entertainment..The plane has individual tv screen where u can watch movies, play games or listen to music of your choice..wow..food was delicious....my first time to have great amenities on the plane..... I have bad news and good news though... Good news is im here now..bad news is my uncle who fetched me at MNL airport and drove me all the way to QC to get my CFO sticker and back to MNL airport in the evening, died yesterday.. Its a shocking news...He was so alive to me..We had great bonding together. Before he left me at the airport he told me to call him up as soon as I arrive LAX..I was so excited and called my parents first and only to find out that my uncle, a priest died just few hours after we saw each other at the airport..i didnt know it was his last day/moment with me...this is really so unbelievable...up to this very moment, its hard to sink in the bad news..Uncle wherever u are now--I LOVE YOU and THANK YOU SO MUCH for being there for me despite the bz church schedule u had yesterday..I enjoyed every moment spent with u esp. when we lost our way to CFO..it was fun while we kept on looking for that place..be aware uncle that I was excited to inform u that Im here with Lane but u already left us. May your good soul rest in peace...Ill always keep the Rosary u gave me and remember God loves you for serving Him well. My fellow VJ'rs I really have mixed emotions now...Im happy and sad...I cant describe what I feel...Like how could I celebrate Christmas in festive mood when u know someone special in the family passed away recently...and also unbelievable coz we were together just hours ago before I left??? But since I'm already with my handsome and kind fiance who condoled while i was in tears yesterday, Ill try to be happy..I know my uncle is happy for me eventhough he wont be around anymore this Christmas and New Year... I offer this post for you..U also became a part of my journey... Ill keep in touch with you guys when Ive some questions regarding AOS....I hope u remain helpful to us... Philippines	Administrative Review - Manila Embassy	hello there...i can offer u the tel. # of USEM ..02 301-2000 local 5184# or 5185#... the information they give u is more accurate than the 1-900 or 1-800 #s....try to dial this # and ask for ur case status....it helped me...i was under AR coz of medical report *interview date- 12/4/09.. *med. report confirmed/received 12/9/09 * called that # and ask about my case status - visa approved same day med. report was turned in 12/9/09 * called the next day and said visa was delivered 12/10/09 *visa received - 12/12/09 although it was fast for me and my other friends who were also under AR but i think it depends on how fast u can comply with the missing dox they needed from u...the later ull submit, the more it will delay....thats my own opinion good luck guys...ull never know, .maybe the adjudicating consular officer is already reviewing ur case or has approved ur visa and is ready for delivery...but give them at least 6-10 days.... god bless	LaneAndDaisy	Female	Philippines	2009-12-17 05:10:00
