US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionUK Police Certificate

Yup that's the right letter so stop worrying

Thank you very much! I was confused because the instructions from the Embassy reckon you're entitled to the information under the Data Protection Act 1984. After studying law, I know that this was replaced by the Data Protection Act 1998. What is it with these guys - trying to trip us up the whole time I swear!

Cheers again

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionUK Police Certificate
Hello Everyone

I have recently received my police certificate from the the UK National Identification Service. However, on reading the packet instructions it would appear that the certificate is only available by visiting your local police station and doing it through them. I can't remember exactly how I did it, except that I downloaded a form online.

I've attached a copy of my certificate here. Could someone please confirm whether or not this is the correct certificate? Preferably someone who has had their interview!

Thanks

Matt

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresOooops!
Hello All

We've got a problem. I just received my packet from the London Embassy after my fiancee filed the K1 petition in the US. HOWEVER, whilst filling in the new forms, I referred back to the copies of the forms that we sent in originally. It seems that on at least one of the biographic forms I have mistakenly listed my fiancee's mother's maiden name instead of my mother's maiden name.

What on earth shall we do? I am terrified that this may cause big problems!

Also, I am changing postal address shortly. What is the best way to do this? Do I just need to contact the London Embassy etc?

Thank You everybody

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresNeed to help a friend...
Hi everyone

Hope someone can help me (and my friend) out!

Basically my friend (British) has met the man of her dreams (American). Now that she has graduated from University she wishes to go to the USA under the visa waiver program and stay with him for the maximum 90 days, before returning home. Then approximately 6 weeks later she intends to go back in again on the visa waiver program and stay for the maximum 90 days before returning home once again.

Is there any issue with repeatedly entering under the visa waiver program for the maximum period? I've tried researching this myself but to no avail!

Thanks in advance

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresTimeline help!
Hello Everyone

Me and the Mrs. have just said (what we hope to be) our final goodbye; as the next time we are reunited we hope to marry and spend the rest of our lives together!

We are now at the stage where I need to send the little slip back to London Embassy stating that I have all the required documents, and am ready for the interview. The medical has already taken place.

If I was to send this back on Monday, does anyone have any real idea of when to expect the interview to be scheduled for (approximately of course)?

And once I have completed the interview (hopefully successfully) are we correct in assuming we then have 90 days for me to enter under the K1 and marry my darling lady?

Thanks in anticipation of your help and patience!
