Anybody had their medical exam this year? How much did you end up paying? Please post here.........

according to the us embassy, manila website the medical exam fee is 213.35 USD =P10500 approx..But when my fiance went to take her medical exam on May 6 (today) she paid P15454 including all required vaccine shots. They told her that the increase took in effect on January 2009 (this year). The website is very misleading headbonk.gif It should be updated when there are changes taking place ASAP, It's been 4 months and still says $213.35 for medical exam fee.....MISLEADING INFO.....http://manila.usembassy.gov/ should provide accurate info......

oh yeah? maybe they havent update their system and forgot to post the new price but mine is only 10,400.00 in pesos... line at st lukes is so long... so u better be there early and wear comfortable shoes coz u will go up and down itsthe stairs coz elevator is so slow 5th storey bldg they also make mistakes so be careful dont be scared to ask questions.. thoguh some of the ppol fr the hospital are so rude even the security guards and employees are so rude they even dont want to answer your questions maybe bcoz they rso tired of ppol asking them questions but we pay 10k pesos so they should give us proper treatment rite to compensate with all the fees and hassle i hope ppol from st lukes read this coz they r really rude.... but some are nice

SO BASICALLY I CAN DO IT IN U.S. ,,, AND I WONT HAVE ANY PROBLEM FROM THE PPOL IN IMMIGRATION IN U.S.?

No problem in the immigration. I am on a CR-1 visa and didn't finished all the vaccines(similar to yours) before I left the Philippines eventhough I have enough time to get it there.

Not able to get it here since I got pregnant right away, then subsequently breastfeeding (another delay) - in the end I never got that TDAP, etc. until I remove the condition of my residency to its approval.

If you are in a CR-1 visa, you don't need the immunization record to remove the condition of your 2-year GC.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------WOW gurl im so thankful ur response is a big help was just scared you know coz i dont want it to be the cost of delay or trouble when i go there// im so thankful SALAMAT sa mga answer and your response was so complete..... now i can sleep well smile.gif was wondering when i need to remove the condition things for my stay there will be one of the problem too for the vaccines im so glad u answered my question so complete!!!!thnaks GODSPEED!!!!

The vaccines can be taken in the US as Nelly228 said. The cost of the vaccines may be considerably higher if not covered by medical insurance.

thank you

hi,

i had all my vaccine done here in the US. just bring your vaccine report with you and show it to the doctor who will complete your vaccine requirements. you will need it on your AOS application. good luck.

kicking.gif thank you

Getting it done at St. Lukes is the way to go since it is local for you. Later in the US the cost will depend upon your SO insurance plan.

thank you

You have an option where to complete the vaccines. I suggest take them in PH coz its included in your medical fees in St. Lukes.... plus the vaccines are way more expensive here in US... like Tdap shots alone is $60 here in SA, TX.

thnak you for the suggestion
