US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	How much evidence is enough evidence for a bona-fide relationship?	My file is leaving for Tashkent next week per the NVC. so my Fiance will have her interview in about a month If you are beginning the process then you must think ahead of what your needs will be. Because I call her once or twice a week, I decided to sign up for Vonage and have printable records from February 2007 to present and each billing cycle shows all my international call to my fiance home phone and cell phone and how long we talked each time If you have been writing e-mails then select a few from each month both yours and hers. She has all copies of money transfers I have sent her and also the receipt for the ring I purchased when I visited last year. For photos, I went to Tashkent with a Kodak digital camera that holds a thousand photos and also a docking station to print up for her over 200 photos while I was there. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Embassy payment fees	Yes, there is a fee at all American Embassies for K-1 and must be paid when he/she goes in for interview. The fee amount is $131.00. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Interview Language - Question	Nita, The Consular officer violated interview rules established by the State Department in denying the interview in his native language My Fiance just had her interview in Tashkent and the Consular Officer asked her if she wished her interview in English and she said no. I want an interperter which was provided. She was also asked the question about how we communicated if her English was not good. Her answer was that her future beloved husband has much patients and speaks slowly to help me understand not only sentences but words Was your Fiance denied visa? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 08 CSC filers	Hello everyone This is an update of mine and Oksana's journey She received her Visa 25th of September and she is arriving home at 4:00 the 15th of October As for plane tickets cost, it all depends where you are coming from and Port of Entry. I found out that first checking her countries flights and routes to America and then looking at connecting domestic flights to our home was the best way to go, because domestic flights are much cheaper than international flights Oksana is flying from Tashkent Uzbekistan to Seoul Inchon South Korea and then on to Seattle (my home state) She will then connect with Alaskan Airlines to Eastern Washington. Flight miles 8,412 . Best thing to do is check all flights to US major airports and then check domestic connecting flights to your nearest airport. This process can be an emotional rollercoaster I see that some are starting to receive Visa's after the very long journey and wait My Fiance recieved her Visa on the 25th of October after a 5 hour wait in line at the American Embassy in Tashkent Uzbekistan. Maybe phone records or more letters between you two. The good thing is they are reviewing your file and only wish more information. Very happy to see so many approvals since I started this thread & congratulations to all For those not approved yet, hang in there your time is coming with out a doubt Our documents left NVC this week and is on its way to the Tashkent Consulate and I hope that my beloved Oksana will receive her packet in the mail in the next 2 weeks. We are already prepared with her needed paperwork and my I-134 and all documentation is ready for her interview & medical If all goes well and I am confident it will. I have been calling my roommate in America, but still no approval. I have been using Vontage for my long distance for over two years. I have 5 grown children and only one lives here in my city. So I am able to talk to the others as long as I want for $24.99 a month. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 08 CSC filers	jeffcloe, I did not hire an attorney, but had a company called Nevesta International fill out my paperwork then I just sent it in. The reason I used Nevesta was they could communicate with her in her native language and that has helped very much and they did all the translation of documents from Russian to English. My opinion is, that the only time a Immigration attorney is needed is when you know you will have issues during your K-1/K-3. If no issues and your filing is straight up with no complications none is needed. I used Nevesta because they were very good with filling out the paper work right the first time and did not miss anything. I am not so sure, if I had done it myself. I am getting ready to send Oksana her I-134. Along with this I will send more evidence of our relationship that has accumulated since our filing ... ie... phone records, E amails, Western Union transfers. When it comes time for Oksanas interview, Nevesta will prep her for the questions that they will ask. There will be no misunderstandings because they will be speaking her native language. Oksana is very early in speaking English, but writes and reads it very well. The fee was $595.00, which for me is worth getting things done right Oksana is very happy with the people that I have hired and is most comfortable with the process. There help has given her great confidence in this whole process. This was me and I am sure that many people have went in other directions than my own. This is just my opinion and I am a very optimistic man, but once approved, things will move very quickly. You might want to look at your Consulate and what there times frames are for interview and issue of Visa to get a better Idea. My best guesstamation for me is the end of september to the middle of October. If the approvals at CSC keeps up with the current pace It is impossible for an exact date, but I think most people can do the math to within a few weeks if there are no bumps in the road during the process. Your fiancee is most beautiful young lady & so tiny My Oksana is getting much better with her patients and I always try to give her positive thoughts to drive back her pessimism Did you get to spend anytime in Tashkent ? I spent a month there last year in the middle of summer, boy !!! was it ever hot They do not have much in the way of air conditioning and it was hard getting used to the heat. I had found for March/April, but it was confusing for me to read through all the posts My beautiful fiancee Oksana, resides in Tashkent Uzbekistan and we filed 4/04/08 and our last touch was 04/09/08. I know that it is now a waiting game and I am a very patient man As for Oksana she is a little impatient with the process, but is coming around and is getting a much better idea about the process from reading much at this site. I hope that the pace of the NOA2's being approved picks up very soon so that we can breath normal again and begin our wonderful life together.
