Good day to everyone!!!

Me and my fiancee is looking at the courier where to ship things here in the Phil... I was just wondering if any of you experience sending big stuff here without any hassle that we have to pay big amount for customs fee... I have read here before a post like the courier thing but i cant find it now... We wanted to ship big things and we want to use not so expensive courier... I have heard of the balikbayan box thing, but we don't know the courier for that... I'm afraid if we send it through post office, it'll not reach here... Even some of my cards were stolen by the post office,so we don't have that trust sending them...

Dear Lostgurl-sophia... You just have to be confident when driving... Its normal that you will be nervous at first but if you have the skills, you will know how to drive easily... You will learn driving quickly as in 2-3hours if you're willing and determined to learn... Important thing is focus on the road, rear and side mirrors... Good that you didn't drive here in the Phil.... Driving here in the Philippines is hard compared there... My fiancee told me that Phil driving is crazy,hehehe... Parang bangaan kung baga dito... Kasi walang traffic light especially in the province,hehe...

Instead or Rodero, its wrongly written as Romualdez, maybe because they're both the same R. initials..... I didn't encounter any problem during my interview.... There's no special treatment for US military... My fiancee is also in the military... You're just lucky to have a faster approval... The enlistment contract will suffice.. You need last 3yrs W2, ITR and recent pay stubs. Your fiancee will be fince during her interview... God bless on your journey...

Thank you everybody for the enlightenment,hahaha, I'm somehow relieved... My fiancee called USCIS a minute ago that our case is still pending for approval... Yeah I need to breath and relax more because of this stress I'm seriously in trouble with my asthma attacks,haha... Oh my I should do away with all this stress and leave in to my fiancee, I might die soon,whew huhhhhh... But I can't help it, my fiancee is the coolest man ever... To make the story short,our first I-129f was lost by UPS INTERNATIONAL, my fiancee never get mad... Ohhh me, I do a lot of crying and blaming to the courier,awwwwwwww... The time lost and money and all,awwww....
That's my tragic case to file for this precious petition,whew.

Anyway, I really appreciate all who replied... I'm so thankful that my fiancee found this site... I love you guys!!! I'll keep you posted... Thank you for appeasing my mind guys!!! Hello Everyone!!!

This is my first post here, but I read a lot here at VJ... I'm so sad and depressed because there's no NOA1 showing up until now... I have read here and have few friends here with similar timeline, but they got their NOA1 after they mailed it... My fiancee mailed the I-129F last May6, it's been two weeks now that we're waiting... My fiancee is so calm, he doesn't even mind, he believe that we'll gonna wait for months... I have read here that the waiting time should be 2-3weeks, but the next week will be our 3rd week... I told him to call USCIS yesterday but he's very busy now... Please enlighten me that all we be fine or what... I'm so worried about the notice that is nowhere to be found now:-(

Good day to everyone! I was so busy when I arrived here in the States... I should have posted early on, but I have my wedding a couple of days after, I'm sorry, but better late than never.... My POE is in Hawaii and I was so nervous when I arrived there... But I was so surprised that the immigration officer didn't ask me anything.... My visa has an error that's why I'm kinda nervous... The town of my hubby was misspelled, instead or Spanaway, it has typographical error, its spelled as Sapanaway... But all is well, no question at all, they just check my papers,awwww.... we talk everyday,i can show you proof but still we have snail mails mine has reached to more than 10 for a year that weve known each other and cards too...

aside from that we have txt each other since its expensive for phone calls....

if you talk via skype then if theres a way you can show your call history,a screen shot of it then that will add to your proof...

i agree with nagishkaw...even if you petition an alien relative say your parents that doesnt know how to use computers this is a best evidence...

it wouldnt hurt to have at least 3 or 4 snail mail in addition to your proof of continous relationship but if your fiance insist not to do so hopefully your skype proof wouldnt be a problem

1) Snail mail is not necessary, as the Consulate Officer is looking at the whole picture. It would best to have phone records, emails, chat logs, etc. going both ways, not just from you to him or from him to you.
