I have doubts about this being something to be terribly concerned about - at the petition stage, the phone records likely don't play much of a role and if you're at the interview stage (especially if your interview is in Frankfurt), they'll probably figure it out. It isn't recommended that you send additional 'stuff' unless asked for it by USCIS/them. Probably the main reason is that it would be difficult for the 'stuff' you sent to find its way to your petition/package.

It isn't likely you'd need the forms - the suggestion to make copies (of the entire package) is two-fold; one is to have a copy for your records and the other is really for the foreign beneficiary to review.

Since you didn't make copies of forms, it should be no problem to recreate them if you like. :thumbs:

Just to be clear - it is best (for you and everyone else) to post questions in the forum. This way you'll get a consensus of answer(s) and others can learn from this as well (that's why we're here after all). PM is fine but you lose the benefit of doubt.

The best thing to do is to review/study/learn the Guide as it will lead you in the best direction. The K-1 Flowchart is great for giving folks an idea of what happens in what order and about when to expect it.

Once folks have a better overall understanding of the process - then come back and ask specific questions if you have them.

Yes - if using it to prove citizenship (or some similar reason), copy all pages - even 'blank' ones.

thanks for your replies...we will be honest on the questions, just curious if it meant anything bad and what we can do to explain that it was years ago, anyone who lived in Africa must have had malaria at least once....also concerning the financial encumbrance, i wrote how much my bills come out to every month....i guess i have to fill it out and mail it to her again with the correct information (how much i still owe on the loan on my house)

I highly doubt the malaria would be a restriction - although I don't have any first-hand knowledge.

As for the net/liquid value of the home - you'd need supporting documentation of this net-value. An encumbrance (for most people) is the mortgage and possibly any 2nd mortgages you might have. Your mortgage statement should suffice for part of the equation (what you owe) and perhaps your most recent property tax statement would suffice for the rest (what the home is worth); one minus the other would be the net value.

The above information and documentation may not be necessary if the income requirement is already met (you don't have to list assets, bank accounts etc).

It has been a while since i last logged in.

We just got our petition approved and National Visa Center have the papers. I am preparing the affidavit of support and preparing sophie for the interview.

Question : I heard stories like they inspect the new arrival into united States at the airport and ask questions!!! Is this true? Or is it just she needs to hand over the package embassy gives & then they just take her finger prints and admit her with a stamp to her I-94? Is there another interview at the POE?

Typically there is very little in the way of an 'interview' at the POE - for a better idea of what happens at a POE (even the specific one you might be traveling through) - visit the POE review section for what other VJ members have experienced.

Do they ask once again evidence to prove any marriage plans like wedding invitation cards? I am worried that as we ar planning to have a very small wedding only 6 people attends. So, there won't be any invitation cards.Can someone give us some experience please?

According to your timeline - you're right on target to hopefully hear something in the next couple/several weeks.

For now - the London Embassy is showing an average of 79 days from when they receive the case from NVC until the visa is issued - based on VJ timelines of course. Stats Page It isn't an exact science but hopefully it'll give you an idea.

Depending on when your interview is (and how much you are currently earning - at the job that will end in July) - you may not need a co-sponsor.

The comment above regarding not needing to worry about 2011 yet is kind of misleading - you do have to worry about what you're currently earning (at the time of the interview) which is/will-be in 2011.

It sounds like the OP (babygirl) is asking if anyone who got an RFE (and responded to it) subsequently got approved (this month).

It is doubtful that an RFE is issued from USCIS after the petition has been approved - if this has occurred, I would highly suggest responding to it with the appropriate 'stuff.'

Most folks (here on Visajourney) are the DYI kinds - the immigration process doesn't necessarily require a 'service' - you can do it yourself if you follow the Guides outlined in the links above.
