Europe & Eurasia (except the UK and Russia)	romanian medical exam	Hi everyone im new here. i just have a question if anyone has been through the medical exam in bucuresti.my fiancee was diagnosed with hepatits b about a month ago abd is currently being treated by a doctor.can anyone tell me if this is a condition that they test for? i have read several answers that go both ways some say they dont test for it and as long as she is being treated it wont be a problem others have said that she may need a waiver for it. its not listed on the communicable diseases of public health,but since it is already documented there is no way they wont know about it.we want to start the k1 visa process as soon as possible we miss each other so much as im sure you all understand.im really worried about how this will affect her getting a visa.any help or stories of your experiences in this matter would help me so much.thank alot i look forward to getting to know some of you soon.	dbs78	Male	Romania	2007-08-06 22:37:00

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	medical exam	Hi everyone im new here this is my first post. i just got engaged to my fiance from romania a month ago and we have been researching th k1 visa process. i have a question about the medical exam if someone can help me. my fiancee was just diagnosed with having hepatits b a few weeks ago. i have read that any communicable diseases will result in a visa denial. but i have talked with a lawyer and also saw on other forums that hepatits b will not be a problem as long as she is currently being treated for it and she has a follow up exam when she arrives here in the usa. he doctor says she will be free of the virus in about 6 months. should we wait for he to be cleared to start the application? and will this cause a visa denial if we dont? any advice is greatly appriciated. thanks	dbs78	Male	Romania	2007-07-29 21:25:00

The majority here will tell you it's not a good way to start.
