K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsHow to include passport stamps for proof of meeting in past 2 years?
QUOTE (KGH @ Jul 27 2009, 11:45 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
do you have a copy of your eTicket or boarding pass? how about him, if you include these 2, are better than passport, but if you are doing the passport, make a copy of the first page and the entry and exit stamp of each person, try to do one page for each person, I mean on the top, copy of the first page and on the bottom, copy of the stamp for the same person, also include a cover page explaining the copy.

That is a really good idea. We do have most of the boarding passes. I have all of mine, but there are a couple instances where he could only find the boarding pass when he arrived or the boarding pass when he left. He has atleast 1 of 2 boarding passes for all 5 of our trips.

Thank you everyone for your help!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsHow to include passport stamps for proof of meeting in past 2 years?
Hi everyone,

I am almost done with my I-129F packet, but ran into one question. I want to include passport stamps from both of our passports to show that we were in the same place at the same time, but I am not sure exactly how to do this. I was thinking to include the first page and then only the pages that show the proper stamps. (My passport has 4 years validity, otherwise I would be submitting the whole thing to make my life easier). Is this what everyone else did? Also did anyone number the pages of their packet?

Thanks again!!!

Hey guys,

I read the embassy reviews, but I was wondering if anyone had any advice to which embassy my fiance should interview at. I know Turkey is the popular choice for most Iranian applicants, but I have heard good and bad things about it. My fiance can easily interview in Englsih, so an interview in Persian is not necessary. Is there any embassy that is historically faster?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresI-29F Not enough room for whole address! HELP
Hi everyone,

I am starting this whole K-1 visa process and am in the very beginning stages. I have already noticed that space is limited on the I-129F, but I don't want to have an attachment for everything. Particularly I do not have enough room for Part B 2. Address and Part B. 15. Your fiancé(e)'s address abroad. Did anyone else run into this problem? Do I just write "Please see attachment"? Also, why does it appear they are asking the same thing twice?

Any help is appreciated!

Hi everyone,

I think I read somewhere that Iranian nationals need to provide the addresses of ALL the places they have worked and ALL the places they have lived on their G-325A. (Instead of just the past five years.) Am I crazy, or is that actually the rule?

Thank you! smile.gif

I do not think there is any rule, because that would be discrimination, so do not pay any attention to hear say. If there are security reasons or background check problems the USCIS might request more information on employment and where someone has lived. I would include only information on the G-325A that is requested; maybe use the examples as a guide found at this site. If you get an RFE for more information, just supply what they ask for.

Are you in the process of filling in the forms for the K1 fiance(e) visa? Good luck on your visa journey.

Yes I am in the process of filling out the forms now for a K-1 visa. (The example forms on VJ have been great!) Thank you and everyone else that has helped me thus far!

are you the one who wants to come to the US? or you are applying for some one else to come here?

Well you don't need to go too far on your Job history, just the last 4-5 years is enough, don't get panic over this form, there are a lot more to worry about than this questions.

Co-sponsor needs to submit I-864 with his/her tax returns along with I-134 from the petitioner + Tax returns if any. also I recommend to call IRS and get the TAX Transcript which is the official TAX return and is free of charge and you should get it within 10 days.

If you are applying for some one try to send every thing in very organized manner and as you are an Iranian (me too) don't let them question you on any document that you send, try to send them as official as possible.

Thank you so much for responding!

I live in the US and am petitioning for my fiancé that is Iranian. (I met my fiance while I was studying abroad in Thailand.) Ethnically, I am half American (mom) and half Persian (dad). Despite the fact that I look Persian and have a 100% Persian name (Shahrzad Annahita), I was born in the US and have lived my entire life in US. My dad is also a US citizen and has lived here for 30 years. Regarding my job history, it is very scattered since I was a full-time student and only worked here and there. (Literally, I would work 1 month over Christmas break or 2-3 months over the summer....4 years of college breaks=multiple jobs). I think I have all my jobs recorded though, but you have made me feel more relaxed about it. (I just didn't want to accidently forget some random job and they think I am trying to cover up working at Panera or Best Buy lol)

Regarding the tax returns, I am still a little unclear. Will I need to submit my tax transcript as well even though my dad is a co-sponsor? How far back do they request tax records?

Thank you again. You have really helped me out! smile.gif

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresMultiple Employers...Long Employment History
Hi everyone again,

I am working on my G-325A right now and am having trouble recalling all my odd jobs here and there. While I was in undergraduate and high school, I had odd jobs here and there. (I am 23 years old now). The past 2 positions I held were for 8 months and 1 year before that, but after that, there are several short-term jobs. Some of my positons were just "seasonal" positons over the summer or Christmas. Anyway, I am very paranoid that I will forget a job that I had. What would be the consequence? Also, my dad will be my fiance's co-sponsor, and I know he will need to submit his tax returns. (My dad has been emplyed at the same place for over 30 years.) Will I also need to submit my tax returns? I am not sure that I could even find my tax returns except from the past the last 2 years. Can I request them from the IRS if I need them?

Thank you in advance for your help! I know I asked a million questions. smile.gif
