National Visa Center (Dept of State)	How to expedite NVC receipt of application?	Try calling them to find out for approval before sitting around waiting. I called to just check to make sure they got my petition only to be informed that it was already on the way to the embassy. Recieved the notification about a week and half after that. Philippines	Package not accepted	how your fiance able to know she got a package when the clerk at the store didnt even know her? if she already contacted 2go and no package under her name then theres no package sent to her. packet 3 doesnt really come specially when u already book your appointment and paid the visa. its not important to have the packet 3 as long as you two knows the documents to bring in her interview. packet 3 is also available at the usem manila website, she or you can print it. tell her not to stress herself with that, instead continue her things to do, cfo and medical if she hasnt done that. Tell me about it....apparently the package was just her first name and middle name and no last name and the clerk only knows her last name so was confused...but we called the U.S. consulate number so I am assuming it was a phone call here but I don't know. Anyways, figured out the only thing that it could have been was the letter saying they recieved the petition and that we can file for the visa. The funny thing is the 2go place we chose for them to send us documents back after the interview....doesn't exist anymore but they have that an option...crazy So thanks for all the help in trying to figure this. Philippines	Package not accepted	So my fiance doesn't have a physical address and so for things to come, they are recieved at a local store. The problem is that the only stuff she would have sent there is immigration related. Well on Saturday, something did arrive with her first name and middle name but not her last name. The clerk did not know her by her middle name and thought it was for someone else and declined recieving said package. The clerk thinks it was 2go, so my fiance went to the main distribution place and they have no record of pending packages under her name. Who do we need to contact? The consulate? I'm assuming its package 3 (K-1 visa process) We have already paid for the visa and scheduled an appointment for the 10th. Is it important to have the package? Philippines	Visa Approved	Hi Guys, Does anybody know when to expect the visa delivered at home after being approved? And also when to book a flight? Thanks Don't forget to plan for the CFO...need that to leave. Almost forgot to plan for that, because there is only location in Manila and Cebu. Philippines	Anyone finished K1 tell me if missing anything?	You have to pay for the visa ahead of time through a BPI branch so give your fiance the case number so she can pay it and keep the reciept. You need that at the interview. You can't schedule the interview till after you pay. They didn't send us anything but confirmed they recieved our petition so we went ahead and paid and then scheduled the interview online at embassy website. Philippines	Medical, Interview and then CFO in one week.	What we are going to do is the medical and interview at once (interview today) and then when the visa arrives we are booking a one way to Cebu to do the CFO and then flying from there through manila to the U.S. Since you need the visa in order to get the stamp That's what we had hoped to do, but after reading a lot more here on VJ, it looks dicey. While the "typical" time for medical results to reach the embassy are 2-3 days, I've read reports that said it could take up to 2 weeks. Ugh. As of now, we've changed our plans to have my fiancee just remain in Manila for a month in order to allow sufficient time. Double-ugh. We were lucky enough that St. Luke's wasn't busy and she was done in one day...so she got to wait around for a week, but its been busy the other days she told me....glad we planned ahead though....just hope it doesn't take forever to recieve the visa once she is approved	imdustin	Male	Philippines	2012-04-09 14:50:00
Philippines	Minila Saint Lukes is screw up	Jean went for her scheduled two day exam today. She had her Appointment of confirmation for her interview on April 27th as required by their website. She did not receive her letter to her address that confirmed that the K-1 was approved. The guard would not let her go to Saint Luke’s. The US Government has contracted this Hospital to exclusively perform the exams of immigrant and nonimmigrant exams. I now question why the Embassy does not follow their own policy. On their website they explain that they would accept the documents that my fiancée provided. This is total abuse by Saint Luke’s Guards. I was on the phone for several hours today talking to the Manila Embassy. Even though our documents have been with the Manila embassy and my fiancées address has been checked 2 times, she has not received the letter from the Manila Embassy. It is a catch 22. She is scheduled for her interview on April 27th at 6:30 am. I am very upset! What in the hell are the government employees doing? I am also a Government Employee working for the Departement of Transportation; I think that I am going to go forward with a Congressional Investigation on the Manila Embassy. The big question is why the Embassy is allowing Saint Luke’s to not go by US policy? All my documents have been exact and precise. As an American citizen, I will not tolerate this behavior. We didn't recieve a letter either from the embassy but printed out the confirmation email from making the apointment for interview at embassy and that is what let her in I think. After 200 days of waiting and hours waiting by the phone for her to call, she just informed me that we are approved and I will be seeing her soon. Thank you to everyone that has replied to all my questions and for making this process less painful in making sure everything was done right. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Filling in forms	You can hand-write or make a supplemental attachment to anything that doesn't fit when typing. Just make it accurate. So on the g325a....under employment can I put the name of the company in one line and the address in the line below? Or just put company name and don't put and address? Or would a seperate sheet just be best? For example her name is Angeline Paz but when I type it in the form it just comes out Angeline Pa...so is that ok to write that in? Or perhaps on the question of past employment...that small box wants company name and address which doesn't fit....Do I put it on the cells below or say see attachment and write that on a seperate sheet? The requirement for the photo for the G325 says a photo one inch from chin to top of head....how big is the photo itself? Also, when submitting photos to show as evidence that you have met on the I-129F what is the best way to submit them to the form? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Mailing stuff	The Post Office box is if you're using the U.S. Postal Service, including Express and Priority Mail. The street address is if you're using FedEx or UPS, since they won't deliver to a P.O. box. If you're asking "which is better", I like to use Express Mail since it's traceable and you can get a signature for the delivery. The choice of the Service Center is based on load balancing. If you send it to Texas, it should be processed by the Texas Service Center but it's strictly at the discretion of USCIS. Your NOA1 (receipt) will have the service number on it which includes the three-letter prefix for the Service Center it's assigned to. Will it be clearly marked not to open...is it a packet or just a letter? The reason I ask, is that today she recieved a letter from the embassy addressed to her from there but nothing on the outside of the envelope telling her not to open.
