USCIS Service CentersUSCIS HELP! ! !
Yes I have contacted my Senator in Illinos and I just recieved a letter from his office in Chicago and was told by his aid to give them 30 to 60 days to recieve information from the NVC. I called the NVC and a nice lady told me that it takes 1 to 2 months to get the documents at the NVC then another 1 to 2 months to go to the USCIS to review. OMG

USCIS Service CentersUSCIS HELP! ! !
according to my fiance her last interview question is not related to our relationship, they accuse her of coming to US to work to our co-sponsor and not to marry me, and the interviewer told her that I CAN'T EVEN SUPPORT myself how can i support her and thats nonsense, her 1st interview goes very well but they told her that she need her Lebanon Police Certificate and a co-sponsor, so she did apply for her Police Certificateand we waited for 5months for that,
The US embassy in Hongkong give her a Blue slip and its written at the bottom that, if your documents is complete you will generally receive your visa in 5-10 days.she did complete all the document that been ask, but this is the result they give us that we don't establish a bona fide relationship??? so why? they do this to us? we turn in all the document they ask from us.
Pls.. help.. i miss her so much..

USCIS Service CentersUSCIS HELP! ! !
CAN ANYONE HELP? MY FIANCE'S VISA WAS SENT BACK TO THE USCIS FOR REVIEW AND POSSIBE REVOCATION BECAUSE THEY SAID TO HER THAT WE HAVE FAILED TO ESTABLISH A BONA FIDE RELATIONSHIP.I FEEL WE DO HAVE A BONA FIDE RELATIONSHIP. I.E. WENT TO HONG KONG IN MARCH 2009 FOR 10 DAYS, PICTURES, LETTERS, BIRTHDAY CARDS, VIDEO'S OF US TOGETHER IN HONG KONG,(103,174 MINUTES)=(1718 HOURS)OF PHONE CONVERSATIONS IN 31 MONTHS SUBMITTED TO THEM SINCE WE MET. 1ST THEY SAID MY INCOME & ASSETS WERE NOT ENOUGH INCOME=($26,450.00 FOR 2 DEPENDANTS),ASSETS=($50,000.00). FOUND A CO-SPONSOR INCOME & ASSETS APPROX. $945,000.00. HER 2ND INTERVIEW WENT HORRIBLY BAD. THEY ACCUSED US OF DOING SOMETHING UNDER THE TABLE (I.E. ILLEGAL) AND PLACED TO VISA UNDER ADMINASTRATIVE REVIEW ON SEPT. 9, 2010 AND SENT THE VISA PETITION TO USCIS ON SEPT. 24,2010. NOW JUST A SIDE NOTE: THESE INTEVIEWERS WERE 1 AMERICAN, 3 CHINESE. SHE IS PHILIPINO AND THIS WAS JUST 17 DAYS AFTER THE HORRIBLE INCIDENT IN MANILA WHERE ALL THE CHINESE TOURISTS WERE KILLED ON THE BUS HOSTAGE SITUATION.

Chinaquestion about co-sponser
Hello
I am losing ground trying to find a co-sponsor as almost all my family is dead now. I asked my friends, other family but they seem to be dragging their feet. My 30 year old is willing to help but he just lost his job a year ago and his home due to plant closing so I think he can be of no help right now. My fiance (Filipino) living & working in Hong Kong is trying to help by asking a very distant relitive to co-sponsor (her brother-in-law's wife's family, Chinese American's who lived in the U.S for over 30 years) who live's in California to help with the co-sponsor. They are retired now but 1 was a head nurse and the husband was a U.S forest Ranger. So I am wondering if they do agree to help, will the consulate approve the visa or is this a problem also?

US Embassy and Consulate Discussionvisa suspended
Yes I know that in the Philippines it is very hard to get a co-sponser approved that is not a family member. My fiance works in HongKong and went to her medical and interview in HongKong. My problem is the only family member I have right now is my step daughter. She is in the Army National Guard and works at a fast food place but made over the 125% minimum and my son is only 16.

My problem is I have no siblings mother, father alive now so it makes it all the harder to do this.

US Embassy and Consulate Discussionvisa suspended
yes we were. we submitted all the paperwork and she had her interview and passed it all but my income because they consider my income as government support I.E (government welfare). I have worked for over 33 years and put into the social security system. The interviewer (Chinese) was very rude and belligerent towards her making statements as to my illiness and her race.

What do you mean by your visa being suspended?

Are you the beneficiary or the petitioner?

Where are you in the process?

I'm sorry. I am the petitioner. My fiance went to the interview on March 5th.

US Embassy and Consulate Discussionvisa suspended
My visa was suspended because of my income. I have (CML)cronic myelogenous leukemia and have been in remission for over 5 years now. I am on SSI and its considered government support I.E (welfare) and now need a co-sponser which I am working on. What I am confussed about is the 125% poverty guidlines. I have a couple of friends and family members who are willing to help and their income is above the poverty guidelins but really no assets to speak of. What are the requirements they need for assets?

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionK-1 visa
Hello. The U.S Consulate in Hong Kong has asked my fiance' for her non crimminal record from Lebanon. As of right now, as far as I know the U.S. does not have an Embassy in Lebanon and there is none in Hong Kong. She has sent 2 letters asking for her non crimminal record to the Lebanon Consulate in Beijing China and also several Emails to them but as of today there has been NO response. I called the NVC in Washington DC and they told me that it is almost impossible if not impossible to get it. She has reciepts from the postal service and also copys of the Emails she sent to the Lebanon Consulate. Is this enough for her to prove that she tried to retrieve any documents for her stay in Lebanon?

THANKS. We can use all the luck we can get. Her 1st interview was suspended because they said I did'nt make enough money as I have CML so we got a co-sponsor and then the 2nd interview it was suspended because we were still waiting for her Lebonon police clearance from 9 years ago when she worked there.

US Embassy and Consulate Discussiondecision made
Well here we go. My Fiance has to be at the U. S. Embassy in HK at 2PM Hk time tomorrow to find out the fate of our K-1 visa. Now after 15 months and her 2nd interview they made a decision. We have been under Administrative Review and Administrative Processing twice since March 5, 2010. No letter before this from them as to a denial which I think they would send if we were denied so hopefully she will be approved.

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionI-134 co-sponsor question
Hi Kerby. If you do need a co-sponsor any and all information is helpful. BE CAREFUL. In my case I also needed a co-sponsor because they said my income was not enough then when we got my fiances sisters-sister-in-law which had almost 1 million in assets they didnt believe her and call her at 12:30 AM California time and grilled her like she was doing something illegal. REMEMBER to give them "all" documents you have. I.E. All phone call made, all internet messages, pictures, airline tickets to see your fiance. DO NOT give them a reason to deny it. Good luck

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionEvidence Presentation
As our case at the U.S. Embassy in Hong Kong, my fiance was told to remove all the sticky notes, paper clips and staples before they would even talk to her. Just make sure you have all your information and remember what is on those papers. They (the interviewers) WILL ask you those questions. If you dont give them the answers that you have on your paperwork they will think something is suspicious as in our case. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionTranslators in Vancouver or Winnipeg: Any reccomendations?
In my fiance's caes, she had a Lebonon police certificate to have transulated so she had to send it from Hong Kong to Manila. Then she had to pay someone to "hand" deliver it to the Lebenese Embassy there in Manila. The total cost to us was approx. $100.00 USD, ($30.00 to have it transulate and $70.00 for shipping both ways and hand deliver & pickup). Good Luck

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Proceduresmarrige in the Philippines

You will have to demonstrate a bona fide relationship. Whatever weaknesses in your case, be sure to address them. The K1 file will be a part of the CR1 file.

The CR1 interview can take place in Hong Kong.

Thanks. Do you think when I fly to HK then to the philippines in July would it be advisable to go to the U.S Embassy in Hong Kong and have a talk with them?

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Proceduresmarrige in the Philippines
Good morning everyone. I need advise on how to get married in the Philippines.
Here's what I have had done in the past.
Met My fiance on July 26, 2007 (I.E.) she is Filipino working in Hong Kong.
Went to Hong Kong on 03/05/2010 thru 03/16/2010.
1. applied for a K-1 fiance visa 07/07/2010.
2. Fiance had interview in Hong kong on 03/05/2010.
3. suspended under adminastrative review because because of income (which was B/S).
4. Got Co-Sponsor on 05/2010, enough assets for co-sponsor (approx 1 million $ in assets).
5 Fiance had 2nd interview on 09/09/2010.
6. Visa petition sent back to USCIS 09/24/2010 due to section (221)g as we have failed to established a bona fide relationship even tho we had documented approx 223 pages of phone records.
Now what we plan to do is marry in the philippinesa in June of next year and our question is:
1. Is the process approximatly the same as a k-1 procedure after we marry?
2. After we marry in the Philippines, she has to go back to work in Hong Kong so will she have an interview in Manila because we married there?
3. What can be done as not to have any of this happen again.

Note: I have CML (Cronic Myelogenous Leukemia) Which is treatable with meds for a very long time, which I feel is one reason they denied the petition to begin with as my income is
well above the poverty guidlines

Can Anyone tell me the average processing time for a visa review? My petition for a fiance visa was sent back here to the USCIS in the United States for review. My fiance had her 3rd interview at the U.S Embassy in Hong Kong just an hour ago and they (3 women 1 man)all but acussed her of wanting to come here for the sole purpose of a better job and life. Our petition is to expire on March 5, 2011. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresK-1 Visa denied

Pls help!!!
The consul refused to issue me a visa because they feel that i might likely become a public charge. During my interview the interviewer asked for my fiance's recent income tax so i gave it. It was so low because of the economic crisis last year and the company that my fiance had been working with was a victim. But he got a new job last march of this year and is paying enough. From March to December he got a total income of around $32,000. So for one year he could make almost $40,000.
On my interview i provided them His certificate/letter of employment, pay stubs for 6 months, and a letter from my fiance that explains why his income last year was so low. But the consul just looked fast on our case and decided to refuse it.
My fiance has 2 children that are partially dependent to him (not living with him) and he is supporting them. but i believe His income is enough for 4 people.
Now the embassy is giving us a chance and they said they will study more our case and we will do follow up. But i got my passport back. They did not ask for more financial evidences like bank statements, life insurance, properties, and other assets yet. My fiance could provide all that.
Im very worried.
I hope everything will be fine and will get good news next time. Im already tired of this. Everytime i go to Manila i always got bad news... This is a sad Christmas for me :crying: ::crying: :crying:

How do you know that your visa denied?if the officer's told you that they will review your case right?,so maybe they just put you in AP so don't be sad have faith in god and have a happy christmas, don't cry everything gonna be fine. Merry christmas to you all.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresWithdraw Petition or let it Expire
Simple....withdraw and move on    , stop giving bad comments, we are here to help each other not to condemn..you have a good day now. :
Hi Everyone,
Well, looks like I picked another lemon to fall in love with. This is my second approved petition that just did not work out. I really want to find a Filipina who is not after my money. I know they are out there. Just bad luck on my part. My question is should I withdraw my petition or just let it expire which is Aug 20th. I have learned a lot from my two experiences. I know now who to look for. I know there are IMBRA issues now if I petition for another Filipina. I have no criminal past. I'm just a nice guy looking for a sincere relationship. What should I do? Withdraw the petition or let it expire? Thanks.
