Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionEurope Trip - Removal of Conditions

You rock! Yeah I didn't think it will be an issue, I just wanted to get people's opinions. If anything, I'll contact USCIS and let them know I will be leaving the country between those dates, so if they are planning on sending me anything they will know I will be out of the country. If an interview is schedule, I will just have to reschedule it.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionEurope Trip - Removal of Conditions

My green card expires on March 6, 2015, which means the 90 days to apply for the removal of conditions begin on December 7, 2014. I've been told that upon applying I will receive a letter stating that my conditional status has been extended until the decision to remove my conditions is made. I've also been told that there might be an interview.

My wife and I want to travel through Europe from June 22nd until about July 23rd. However, I do not know how long the process to remove the conditions is. I am afraid that we will buy tickets and book tours for these dates, and then will end up receiving a notice to appear for an interview around the same time.

Would you guys recommend that I postpone my trip and wait until the removal of conditions has gone through to visit Europe?

Lastly, if I do decide to visit Europe, would the letter I will receive extending my green card be enough to return to the states once the trip is over?

Thank you very much for your help guys!

P.S.: I hope I did the math right and that December 7th is in fact the day when the 90 day period begins. If someone can confirm I did the math right I'd really appreciate it =P

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresHELP!!! my i129f address was changed????

Did you call to check with USCIS ? thats the best thing to do because you will only get speculation here on the forums as no one here really knows whats going on with your case.

I second that.

Just give them a call, and ask why it says you changed your address when neither one of you moved.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresFiancee coming to USA in a month, got a quick question.
Dude, just hold your urge to leave the U.S. for your honeymoon until after everything is straighten out. So many beautiful places to see here in the states! Just go somewhere around here, and later on do the Europe thing or whatever you have planned. My wife and I stayed in a nearby city after our wedding, and we are saving money towards a real honey moon once my paperwork goes through.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresThe RFE Master List
Hi, just want to share my RFE experience.

I have a joint sponsor because my wife is a student, and of course like the starving college students we are, she doesn't make enough. But like an idiot, I forgot to attach my joint sponsor's proof of citizenship. So that put the whole process on hold for a couple of extra weeks. Oh well! I sent it, they received it, and now they are in the process of scheduling my interview.

Just wanted to share that with those who have joint sponsors. Do not make the same mistake I did.
