If your applying based on 3 year marriage then yes you need to send the documents they request of you.

I'm planning to send N-400 Package tomorrow, I need some help! first I've been marry for 7yrs and i'll be aplying for the 3yrs married. Do i still need to send all the documents like, bank acct statement, mortgage, etc? and I also need a cover letter example please.

:dance: I'm so happy, finally sent N-400 package today, now the hard part of it, to wait, :whistle: Good luck to me and all of you. this is the list with what i sent:

To whom it may concern:

Please accept the N-400 Application for Naturalization. I have also enclosed the following; 1- Form N-400.
2- Photocopy showing both sides of my current permanent resident card.
3- Two-passport style photographs with my full name and A # written on the back.
4- A check including $595.00 for the N-400 processing fee and $85.00 for the biometrics fee, total of $680.00 made out to Department of Homeland Security with A # written on the back
5- Copy of US citizen spouse's birth certificate.
6- Copy of marriage certificate.
7- Copy of spouse's prior marriage divorce decree.
8- Copy of children birth certificate.
9- Copy of 2009, 2010 and 2011 joint federal and state tax returns.
10- Copy of join bank statement.
I hpe I did not miss enything, and hope to here back from them soon :)

I sent package on 02/25/13 check cash on 03/05/13 got a letter or receipt, where it says;
"UPON RECEIPT OF ALL REQUIRED RECORD CHECKS, YOU WILL BE SCHEDULED TO APPEAR FOR AN INTERVIEW AT YOUR LOCAL USCIS FIELD OFFICE"
what does this mean? shouldn't I get the prints appoiment first?

She will have to go through the medical examination first. get all the vaccines. after thats done, you can call the consulate or embassy to schedule your interview. you can also do this online. ( she wont be interviewed without Medical exam) the schedule dates are very limited. the sooner you have the interview , the better.The  approved petition will expire in 6 months (can be extended to a year) and  the k1 should have a visa before it expires.

Thats true. all that matters is the petitioners financial standing like if he is above US poverty rate something like that. but there are also other things that your fiance must know and must answer accurately during the interview, like questions about your relationship, which is crucial. i mean one of the most common reasons why they deny k1's is the failure to prove bonifide relationship.
