K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	K1 queries	i am so sorry my love. i feel a complete blonde on all this.. i think we need a heck of a lot of help on all this because i feel like a huge boulder and its not easy to get off... so we might need a few more yrs to save up and understand all this stuff cause i feel like crying lol... grrrrr frustrating.. all i want to do is love you and all they the visa etc wants to do is break us so we have to struggle to survive after we pay them off. lol grrrr im sorry im not rich.. i only am ri\ch in kids and thats it... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	K1 queries	Regardless of the fees, she needs to fill out the affidavit of support (I-134) by the time when you go for the interview & she needs to have a certain income at that time (above poverty line). Be prepare for that also when considering the other fees. Very good luck to you! Remember, unless you have certain cap of money, you can't self sponsor your self. She needs to do that. If we had a bank account in her name in the US with the amount of the poverty line, would that be enough to meet the requirements of the sponsor thing, or does it have to be an actual income, showing that is what she earns in a year. So if we had say 20k (or whatever the amount is for the poverty line 25k i think) in a savings account would that meet the requirements of the sponsor part although she doesnt make 20k a year. So if she has 1 kid, she needs to make 125% of the poverty line for a family of 3. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	K1 queries	Me and my fiancee (She is the us citizen i am a uk citizen) are hoping to start the K1 visa process in march but we are trying to work out the costs on filing each bit. I know that the initial petition is $455, but we were wondering what other costs there are, i saw somewhere something about aplying for AOS is about $900.
