I took the wife to the DMV... she passed her test in english the first time We are very happy about that, I just bought a new Toyota Corolla S with sport package fun car to drive. I guess you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Todd, How have you been? Did you guys finally get the SS card? David, USCIS told me to get a state ID, the state said you must have SSN to get ID. So I took a day off and we went to the social security office took a number and waited about 15 min, I filled the form out before we left, the woman took all the info and used her Thai ID along with her passport, I about fell over! 5 days her card was in the mail, she is working days and week ends now at a Thai restaurant part time, she says "I can practice my English then get better job" she is doing good but still misses her local food. It's a shame that some people in her country might want to screw up your interview but that is what sometimes happens so I can only say that the date is at the end of May. I also hope you have a better port of entry than Chicago we have been battling USCIS since October, I never would have thought congressmen and senators were powerless against DHS. They will not help you out and do not give a damn There I was at the immigration scene Shining and feeling clean Could it be a sin?
