most people cases  were  transfered to other  service center   ,but   mine was  transfered to lee summit,  i   only got  2  emails    ,no hardcopy  transfer notice ,anybody  in  same situation?

If you're not calling to find out the case number, then yes, NVC will send you correspondence with the case numbers... by snail mail, which can take weeks to receive. 
 
I suggest you go back to posts 1 and 2 and read up. Don't listen to everything your lawyer is telling you.

NVC doesn't send any correspondence when they receive your case. You have to call to find this out.



my lawer told me to wait letter from nvc that contain case# and 88 payment something.i am so confused if nvc will send me letter with case#.

Awesome. I shouldn't be far behind you in hearing something from NVC. I sent the first IV email on APRIL 4. At least we know they are now reviewing up to April 1st emails. Hopefully case completes for both of us soon. I'm willing to bet you get case complete in the next couple days. Let us know when you do.

received checklist for ds-260 supporting docs. Can't





















tell if it's false or not. They are asking for everything
EXCEPT the passport photos. The want birth cert,














biographical data page from passport, marriage cert. divorce decree and police check. All these were emailed with to them including the passport photos. I do not understand how they could receive ONLY the passport photos and nothing else, when are were attached to the same email. Tried calling NVC this morning, waited on hold 45 minutes and then MISS ABBIE hung up on me before I could even finish giving her my case #. I'm at a loss and furious. I can't seem to get through to NVC. Anyone have any ideas as to WHY I received a checklist for these??











































dont worry. it happened to me. when they review ur ds260 .but aos or civil document is not there.they will send that. i sent aos and civil document on april 3. they reviewed my ds260 on 422.but my document was not there.so they sent the same thing.

the  first one  on  500am

On January 14, 2014, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

 

the  second  one   715  am

 

On January 14, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

 

but  the  second  one  is  supposed  to  come  earlier  than the first  one,

We haven't received any snail mail or even email regarding our case but when we checked our status it's say it was transferred oct 25th then now processed on a uscis office. When my husband talked to a uscis rep, he said it was transferred to lee summit, grrrrr what's happening? Pd mar 11 as well.

I don't think there's anything wrong with that.  The hard copy is the important notice and as long as you have that, you should be fine.


most people got the third email.if u got the third email .i guess maybe ur case has been asigned to officer.

it just means its now being processed at another office. They don't send out notices when they pick up each file to process. You could be approved tomorrow or in 2 months. The actual transfer could take 2 weeks depending on the batches they load on the truck and how often they ship them.

never receive the tthird email that says being processed in a uscis office .but got hardcopy.anything wrong with that

Hi, I would like to know if it's ok to change my name when I file the N-400 that is based on 3 years marriage tu a citizen. Currently Im using my married name only but I would like to add my maiden name so I could use both so its not much of a change but to add my maiden name. My question is if this could delay the process since I read that they are not able to change my name instead they give 2 options change it before (which I have no idea where to start) and the 2nd option:

Good luck with the rest of your immigration journey too, and hope you get your oath ceremony letter and oath date soon too. Interesting too, that you can apply for a passport right at the oath ceremony for you, very convenient, indeed!

I also thought it was an interesting question! and my honest answer was that since I got pregnant 6 months ago and, we are happily expecting our baby to be due in March 2010, my husband and I decided to take care of such an important step and of course our baby is going to be a U.S. citizen and this is the country where I have decided to live and therefore wanted to be truly part of it, for me, for our future child and for our family.
