IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	i 130 birth certificate	yes it was hard tring to get a good answer of how to get my wife a birth certificate. when she was born it was not required. she was still in Chengdu China when we filed I-130. she went to her birth police office and got a copy of the  paper on record her parents regestered with the police after her birth, then went to a government notery  and they made 3 copies of a birth book with the notorial seal.
