K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	GREEN CARD!	My wife is an American. We were married in Canada and had lived here for 6 years together. We then wished to move to the US to be closer to my wife's family. We filed the I-130 on April 6th, 2004 I-130 NOA received on April 27th, 2004 We mailed our I-129F mailed to Chicago May 10th, 2004 and were still waiting for NOA1. **UPDATE** My company offered me a transfer to the US through an L1B visa. I have now entered the US and am working here. I was waiting for my L1B paperwork but had an I-94 and have been working in the US for over 3 months. I finally received my L1B approval confirmation in the mail. We were then told my my company's lawyers to file AOS for permanent residency through my wife, the USC. ****We filed AOS from L1B visa to permanent resident via my wife as the US sponsor. We received the appointment letter for March 8th. I had my AOS interview on March 8th, 2006 and was granted permanent residency and was told I'd have my green card in 2 weeks in the mail!!!! GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!**** I know this isn't the typical story but I just want you all to know that there is hope.
