Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)	need help with k1 waiver	Please someone help and try to explain the waiver i need to request or file for my new k1 I filed a k1 in april 2008 and visa was aproved in sept 2008. She never used the visa to come here or it was never canceled we let it expire and parted ways. Now i have found the love of my life and do not understand about the waiver i need to request or file. Can someone help? and explain what i need to do i have most of the paperwork ready to file for the new k1 now just waiting to find out about the waiver. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	EVIDENCE OF CURRENT SUSTAINED INCOME	Hello everyone. I have been viewing this site for some time now while waiting for my fiance's visa but we recieved a denial letter after a long and drawn out process(evidence of sustained income, etc). My question is -- If we are allowed a disposition, is the date and time supposed to be on the bottom of the denial letter, or do we recieve another letter because i see two scenarios at the bottom of our letter, but none of them are checked. Do we have a chance at a disposition? If anyone has any info that would be great. Thanks. I want to know because i will be going there for the dispostion!the embassy told me today they dont have employement letter but have my check stubs but say she may become a public charge.I make alot more than the 125% level now so i dont know what the problem is. Philippines	Requirements for a childs pass port	Hello... In general, the child and BOTH parents must be present to apply for a PASSPORT for a child. (I am going through this currently with my fiancee and the father of her child.) This is not really a huge problem because the Passport still does not permit the child to immigrate to the USA. AFTER the Passport is obtained, the problem becomes: Obtaining a "permission to leave" the country from the father. Many times, the so-called "father" wants to be "in control" and "macho" so he uses this to his advantage. Sometimes a monetary "negotiation" is needed to obtain this permission from him...so I'm told. So, to summarize: 1) Get the PASSPORT for the child. 2) Get the "permission to leave" from the father. Philippines	US Embassy to increase visa fees	Makes the CR/IR-1 route look a little better, only $50 more for the interview and you pay $70 for Affidavit of Support before the interview but you don't have to deal with the $940 ($1,010 minus $70 for AOS) additional fees for Adjusting Status after entry. Only real difference in processing time lately seems to be 1 month @ NVC Stage for Document & Fee Collection but then we get our interviews set by NVC (and you can even get it moved up a bit if you're quick and persistent.
