My congresswoman (Hilda Solis) had a case worker give me a call today, but i've already been approved. so you can give it a shot...

Dani, I understand how you feel, it happens to must of us! It is so hard and unfair that you have to ask for the approval of a stranger to be with your soul mate? But there is nothing we can do about it, and it doesnt make it easier to complain about it ...We must keep positives, dont doubt, dont lose faith! If you get sad or something, get online and check our August Filers forum, and be sure that at least one person has gotten ther approval today! and it means that sooner it will be our approval!
So try to kee positives, think about the things you will do after you get together! listen to your favorite song! watch MAMA MIA! It`ll make you feel better!
We are here to support each other! And believe in the fact that we are all getting our approvals!

yes it does sound familiar, but I told them that its BS and told them that people who filed after me have been approved already, I then asked to speak to the supervisor and explained the same thing, but stressed it even more about the approvals, then he transferred me to level 2 guy, he said that I should have a decision made sometime this month if not then request expedite next month.... when you call you have to speak loud, like your yelling at them, then thats when they start transferring phone calls...


OK copied, I will tell my babe to call again and insist to talk to somebody else!! ok now about the infopass If the case is delayed and uscis will not give you detailed info over the phone you can request an "infopass appointment" with the local office in order to meet with someone in person who'll be able to obtain detailed info about your particular case on the spot...... If they told you about waiting for next month.. that will be 6 months since we filed .. so we will be a case delayed and start screaming everywhere!!!! hehe
Sometimes i just get so sad, tomorrow I start working again ... we had holidays till today ... I just wanna get my NOA2 to go and start a new life with my babe .... he`s coming on feb ... but still I dont wanna say godbye again .... sad.gif
So, I get online and check the Visa jpurney ... and it makes me feel so better, to see all the people that have been appoved ... t gives me so much hope .. smile.gif

Hey you all!!! We are on December!!! I hope you all have a Merry Chrismas ( FELIZ NAVIDAD in spanish:) ) I am not spending Christmas with my babe:( so I have been a little sensitive these days ....
But we must keep positives! We august filers will start seing our NOA2 very soon!!! smile.gif So every time I feel sad, I get online and start reading the comments on the forum and its really nice, it gets me away from my sadness and back to feeling well:)

Hey you guys! oh my god ! we are on page 92 of the forum! nice!

K1 was the best option for us, because in Venezuela the K3 process takes about a year!!! so we prefered to wait less and.. also .. it wouldnt be nice to be married and be apart you know..so we decided this was the best way!

Come one we should keep positives! supporting each other! I think it is all about luck! because there are cases that have been approved in 2 months!!! I knew a girl from Venezuela! who had her case approved in two months after getting her NOA1..... she received her NOA1 by April... and by the end of June she was havning he interview!!!!!! smile.gif
So we should keep positives! and pray to God and Virgin Mary the person who is working in our case really focus on ours!!!!!!! and send us the NOA2 soon!!!!!!!
Really guys, dont lose faith! there is nothing we can do about it! this are just a few more months! and then!!!!!! the rest of our lives with our sweet hearts!!!

Lets be patient!!!! we are really getting every day closer to our NOA2:)

I hope you are all OK, I am missing my babe like crazy! and feeling a litle sad we are not going to be able to see each other by Christmas ..... so:( but well, we keep supporting each other... and thinking that we will spend the rest of our lives together!

Today is D-day for the USCIS visit, I am immagining the things that could once again hold up the process, at current I am picturing giant flying purple elephants... or something along those lines...

Im into the forties for the counting down too, 47 till I (for the first ever time) get to be the one waiting at the airport. I think the jet lag will get to Chris though, this will be the furtherest he has ever flown and he is doing it in the most round about way with 2 stopovers/plane changes.

Mailiciant, your right about the, "at least we can be sure we are in the system" and that does make us both feel much better, its one thing to be told, but that futher evidence is defiantely proof we are there. Chris has his interview there on Tuesday fingers are crossed nothing will go wrong to stop him from getting there this time. He is going to check if it offically classes as an RFE, I am semi hopeful it does, that means they have finished the background checks and are actually working on the case. I have also noticed that RFE's seem to come towards the end of the process, and a lot of people have had theirs approved in a matter of days or weeks after the RFE has been recieved at USCIS. Hopefully we might get lucky, lets face it, luck has to kick in for us at some point....

You are right Mara!! most of the people that have been asked for RFE have a approved their I129F a few weeks after !!! sooo!!!! I wish this happens with your case too!!! good luck!!!:)
