She told me it's undergoing processing and there is no time frame. Is that a standard thing they say? Or does this mean something else entirely? Europe & Eurasia (except the UK and Russia)	Netherlands Interview process	Hi everyone, I have a few questions and if anybody could be of assistance I'd really appreciate it! We got our NOA2 email on September 20. To check case status at NVC do I just call the customer service line or is there another way to go about it? With the automated service will they tell me that they got it and then forwarded it? After they send it, how do I find out that it got to Amsterdam? Do I just wait for the packet to arrive to my fiance? Do they send packet 3 and 4 or just one packet? I'm preparing the I-134 packet and getting proof of ongoing relationship, etc. I will be sending this, and the I-129F packet to my fiance in Den Haag asap. When the packet arrives what is in it? I know sometimes they issue an interview date and medical date in some countries, is that the way it works in NL? I guess I'm just wondering also if there is anything that Michiel will need to get together that he can start getting now instead of when the packet gets there, to save time? Also, what is needed for packet 3? I heard that you don't need to pull the police certs. that they do that for you at the interview? Next month we will have been together for four years. I lived with Michiel in Den Haag for 2.5 years. He's originally from Leeuwarden. It's so hard being apart now, after having lived together for so long...we're both just hoping that this process goes as smoothly and as quickly as possible! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	How many times have you visited your fiance?	I first met my fiance in Sept. 2007, I flew to The Netherlands and stayed for 2.5 weeks. It was amazing! He came and visited for three weeks over Christmas, his first time in the US. I went and stayed a month Feb-March 2008, then he came back to Ohio in March 2008. He flew over again in June 2008 and we both flew together to The Netherlands on July 1, 2008. We lived together in The Netherlands from then, until Dec. 27, 2010 when I moved back here to get prepared to start our life in the US! He visited me April- May 2011...it's getting harder being apart, we're used to being together every day so I'm really hoping this process moves along quickly!	britty9	Female	Netherlands	2011-08-11 07:29:00

We just went to the courthouse and had it done, quick and simple. I won this hotel stay, limo service and free dinner at a bridal show back in January so we took advantage of it and used it. We had a lovely night! We're going to get his social security number this week and I'm working on getting the AOS packet together now. I can't wait til we don't have to bother with any nonsense for two years! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Any August filers?	Sorry I haven't been on, I've had a stressful month! The great news is that Michiel was APPROVED on Dec. 15 at his interview! He said that he was in and out within an hour. His POE was in Philadelphia on December 24. Seeing him finally, after 7.5 months was just..there are no words. It's like we never skipped a beat, and just picked right back up where we left off. I have been having a hard time going to work, just knowing that he's home and I'd rather be spending a lot of time with him- but it's GREAT to know that when I get home, he will be there. We are thinking about when we want to get married and what will have to happen in the next stages. We are just going to go to the courthouse, the two of us, get married, and then this summer have a bigger vow renewal/reception. I know it's a long wait, and it seriously blows, but at least after this process you know 110% that you can, and will, make it through anything!! I just wanted to see how everyone was doing! I'm hanging in there, we found out on the 23rd that Michiel's interview is December 15. We're just counting down now, it will be weird to live together again. In the past year we've spent two weeks together, it's been seven months since I've seen him! It's just crazy! I'm just stunned right now as I write this. My hands were shaking when I found out, I was crying, I wanted to scream, I didn't know what to do! WOW! If you go to the main page, and scroll down, past the bar where you enter your case number there is a "Services" section on the right side. It says "Sign up for case updates". You can create a user name and password and then sign up for email and text message alerts. I got my NOA1 on the 11th, the last updated was Aug. 12, not sure if I can consider it a touch or not, it was most likely just to process the payment, or forward it to CSC. Either way, pretty cool that we can check that on there! So, I was thinking we should get to know each other! We'll all be around here for a while! How did everyone meet their fiances? Thanks a lot! this really answered my question, it was useless calling the 1-800 # =) Btw, How do you assemble or label the supporting documents? like photos, copies of boarding pass, letters...etc thanks! Well, I was incredibly ####### about the organization of my packet. I bought a plastic folder type thing that had probably 15 folder slots inside. I labeled each slot with the corresponding information that was inside, example: the first slot had cover letter and payment, second one had forms and under that I wrote I-129f, G-325a, G-1145, etc. Then I went to Birth Certificate, Passports, Emails from Michiel to me, emails from me to Michiel, receipts, and I put post it notes on pretty much everything in the packet saying what exactly it was, and what date/dates it was from. I put my pictures in a zip lock bag and wrote on the back of them our first and last names, year it was taken and location of picture. I stapled all papers together that were more then one page, and paperclipped papers together after that if they were corresponding with each other. I maybe took it a little bit too far.....but, I wanted it to be perfect so that when it was received they could open it and know exactly where everything was located, I want to help eliminate confusion at all costs.	britty9	Female	Netherlands	2011-08-12 20:05:00
