Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	Is I-551 stamp necessary while case pending?	Hi all, I am starting to wonder now that my 2 year GC is almost expired (end of May). I sent my I-751 to VSC on Feb. 27th I received the one year extension letter on March 17th ... but I see that it takes about 6 moths to receive the new GC for most people. My question is: is that OK for me to keep my old GC and the one year extension letter to prove that i can work? Should I get the I-551 stamp if I don't plan to travel?
