Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)AOS filing help...G-325A or just G-325

We sent ours AOS with G-325A, Biographic Information form. Family-sponsored applications require G-325A.

In the I-485 instructions, it clearly states you need to file G-325A

10. Form G-325A, Biographic Information Sheet
You must submit a completed form G-325A if you are between the age 14 and 79 years of age.

Thank you very much! God bless!

Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)AOS filing help...G-325A or just G-325
Me and my wife is about to send in our AOS paperwork but we're confused on what biographic form we need to send... Is it the G-325a or the G-325??

We went to the person that's helping us and he has a fairly good amount of knowledge regarding USCIS because he was once an agent before. He gave us all the necessary paperwork to fill out for the adjustment if status but instead of giving us the G-325A, he gave us just the G-325. Now I'm confused because it shows on here that what's needed is the G-325A and not the other form. Pls help!!

Thank you very much for your help

Philippinesonline appointment schedule - asks for "state" - what do we put??

The online scheduling for the K1 visa interview asks for address.. fields are Address Line 1, City, State and Zip Code. What do you put for "State" anyway since Philippines does not have states, and what's more the address doesn't have a place to enter Philippines? How do they know what country she's in? Do we enter "Philippines" or "Bukidnon"?

Who designs these things anyway? Don't they know this is being used in other countries?

Hello. I'm also from the Philippines and this is what I put on my application form:
Pasig (City) Metro Manila (State) Philippines (Country)

If your Fiance is from Bukidnon
ex: Malaybalay (City) Bukidnon (State) Philippines (Country)

Hope this helps and Good luck!

i made traditional engagement ceremony which i took some picture but i wonder if i present the pictures to the interview, the officer might think that it a marriage
so, i need advice

ItS ok. If they ask, then just tell them whats up. I probably brought 100 pictures, the consul only checked around 10 and it was good.

My advice is, bring pictures of ur engagement, pictures of u travelling together, pictures of u two with friends, relatives and LABEL it with dates and location :)

Congrats! I remember the feeling

So, the DS-260 isn't used (it could be embassy specific)? I'm sorry to sound lazy/ignorant, but what's the DS-157 for?

When you say "RECEIPT OF PAYMENT ORIGINAL", do you mean the receipt for the $340 paid for the petition or of the $350 paid at the embassy for the visa?

Paid for the Embassy - for short :) Lol

Congratz !!! it sounds really exciting !
I waana ask how do u make a no marriage certificate ??? secondly this i 134 affidavit of support is to b filled and signed by the petitioner right ???

For the Philippines, we can request for the Certificate of no marriage from nso or national statistics office.

I-134 - yes, the petitioner needs to fill it out and sign it and send it to the one he is petitioning.

Im not sure what the DS 260 is for, that was not asked from me. The best thing is to check the requirements of the US EMBASSY in your country. It will be included in the packet that they will send you.

DS-157 is the supplemental non-immigrant visa application.

The receipt will come from the accredted bank of the US embassy in country of the one who is being petitioned. I paid 15,400 Philippine pesos that receipt that I had to give. My fiance also paid $340 when he submitted his petition in America.

Hope this helps :)

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsOne-way ticket or round-trip ticket?

There was a time not long ago that some of the airlines were offereing a substantial one time discount to new immigrants flying for the first time to the USA, so that might be something worth looking into. You could ask about that if it would be a benefit to you. :)

Oh wow! Shoooot! When we got good advice here, we went searching for the most practical one way ticket. And purchased it already!!! Waaaaah, missed that one! Thanks for the info tho and hope it will help other couples too :) God bless!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsOne-way ticket or round-trip ticket?

I was lucky one way was cheap but it aldepends what country you travel from and what route if buying a RT as it's cheaper make sure you cancel the return leg even if you get no money back

We got a good deal for a one way ticket to our FOREVER! Lol! We went through ORBITZ and gave us the best deal ever! Thanks :)

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsOne-way ticket or round-trip ticket?

When my fiance' and I were shopping for plane tickets, it came out round-trip was cheaper than one-way, so I suggested that he get me a round-trip. It wasn't like I was planning to go back to the Philippines, it was all about price. But even to that fact, he still chose to buy me a one-way. If it made him more comfortable, then so be it :)

Haha. Sounds familiar. We did the same thing, discussed and he ended up purhasing a one-way ticket. Thank you all for sharing!!! Super big help!!!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsOne-way ticket or round-trip ticket?

Air Berlin is 1/2 the price for a one-way sop we used that out of the UK. You really learn airlines and flight options at this time!

Air-berlin ... We'll check if we have it here. We'll definitely check it! Thanks much :) God bless!!!

Ya, I try to avoid those multiple layer flight like the plague.

Multiple layer? Meaning, multiple stop overs? That right?
Vince and CherylNot TellingPhilippines2012-02-02 12:36:00
K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsOne-way ticket or round-trip ticket?

Keep in mind that you will not be using the return flight. You are just playing the game the airlines use in order to get as cheap of a ticket as possible. Should you opt for a RT, just remember to cancel the return leg before its scheduled departure otherwise there is a slight chance it will bite you should the airline sell the seat and not change the name. USCIS has accussed others of leaving the country and the burden of proof is always on you to prove USCIS wrong. There were a couple of threads on VJ about this issue.

Good luck,

Dave

Ohhh my. Now, you got me thinking. Hmmm. Thanks. We'll definitely put this into consideration. We are on the route in getting a one-way ticket :) God bless you and appreciated your advice! Maraming salamat! :)

fiance is comeing to you...

get cheapest fight.. 1 or round.. she ain't going back anyways... so it don't matter..

you should go for return ticket with one year time and option to have flexible date of return. That will save lots of money.

round trip is cheaper. We bought one way ticket going to US for the first time. I just bought a round trip ticket going back to the Philippines on 3rd week of Feb up to 2nd week of July. That's less than 5 months.

Thanks for sharing. I think thats what we're going to do. Get one-way now and just get a round trip for our christmas vacay here in Manila. :)

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsOne-way ticket or round-trip ticket?

Actually, I am thinking of the same thing. Not because I doubt my love and relationship with my fiancee. It is the least thing I could ever imagine. Since my interview is up this Feb, I am thinking I might get return tickets as they are cheaper, should we (me and my fiancee) go back and visit folks in the P. I. One way is like 800 dollars and when two-way it's round 1.200, 1,300 USD. So, which way to go?

Totally on the same boat!!!
Anyway, we have decided to just purchase the one-way ticket since its correct that we do not know how long AOS will take. We'll
Just purchase another round trip for our Christmas vacay here in Manila. Checked the fairs and two-way costs around $1500-$1700 economy and one-way is from $980-$1200 :)

Id say, one-way is the best route :) we got some pretty good advice here :)

Thanks VJ members!!! Huge help!!! Appreciated big time :) Wooot wooot!
