I called and they said they stopped processing applications that were submitted in late september. they told me to call back within the next 2-3 weeks to see if they can further assist me. Mexico, Latin & South America	travel in Central America to renew 90 day stay allowance	I think Panama is a little bit safer than Nicaragua, its easy from San Jose to take a bus. I have done it to go and see the Panama Canal. I stayed with a family friend for a few days and bussed my way back to San Jose. Its not all that expensice maybe like 10,000 colones ($20 per person) for the bus ticket. Im sure while you are down there theyre are tours and stuff you can inquire about, maybe those are the "better areas" of Panama to visit. Mexico, Latin & South America	Medical Appt before Interview Appt	My case is on its way to Costa Rica since Monday, So I believe it they should receive it sometime next week, and I know Costa Rica doesn't take 6 months to schedule interviews, we called the other day to inquire about available dates and they were for the beginning of August! so I think we are good. My fiancé wanted to go and get this out of the way! it was almost $200! I need to do things at a certain pace, because I don't have much money right now! So I am hoping things will be fine! Mexico, Latin & South America	Medical Appt before Interview Appt	My fiancé and I received his case # on Thursday from NVC, I called today and they had told me they mailed the petition to Costa Rica yesterday. Today my fiancé went to get his medical done at the specific doctors listed on US Embassys Costa Rica website, and has the results in hand, just needs to go back tomorrow to pick up the results of the blood work. My question is, Is this ok that my fiancé did his medical exam before we even had the interview date. .......I know the results for the medical is good for 3 months.. I filed my K-1 application in the beginning of October as well, and I still do not see my case online, i receive the same memo as you.. stating that my case # cannot be found. I hope that they do something soon, i know having the physical reciept in my hand is more important but I like to have the reassurance on the website as well. I think that the process would be quicker online, but I guess this is just to test our patience... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Receiving a notice that USCIS received your reply.	I had received a request for evidence 4.26.2013 from Vermont Service Center for our K1 fiancée visa for my hubby.. I compiled all the requested information and submitted it back on 5.24.2013. I know it was Memorial Day Weekend and the post office and official offices were closed. But I still haven't received anything from USCIS stating they received my packet. Would they inform you when they receive your new evidence? Like do they send an email if you set up for automated updates? I'm concerned they didn't get it. On July 8, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have APPROVED this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E).     I am stilll in shock I ran out from work; cried, yelled, screamed, skipped, jumped, and finally fell to the ground as I called my mom first, because she has been my connection to God thoughout this process and never stopped praying for us. Do you guys have an interview date yet? I would love to hear about your experience at the embassy :-) It was a long time and the worst wait of this whole journey. But as they say some things are worth it. I have my interview on Monday Aug 12 at 12pm. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	RFE response that they received new information.	Hi. I got question about RFE. SCS received my RFE on july 3. They asked for letter intend to marry and prove that we meet each other within two year. And now a month have pass and I didnt heard anything from SCS. I read other people post in here and they hear back from SCS within week or two. Should i call SCS or wait until 60 days than call them.     My RFE was from April 26th and I finally received my NOA2 on July 8th... It was honestly the longest wait of the entire process.. kind of like a teeter totter... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	G-325A Occupation	Keep me posted on what happens! Do you have any idea what the RFE might be about? Our situations sound kind of similar. My fiancé is also a country boy and hasn't had the opportunity to go to school since he was 11 years old. I am worried it will be a red flag just because his background seems like someone who just wants to go to the U.S. since he doesn't really have much of anything in Costa Rica, but it totally isn't like that. I really hope it all is ok. I want to get him here now. ) Honestly, I dont know what the RFE might be about. I really didnt send that much evidence when I first submitted the application. Maybe my taxes, pay stubs, more pictures ( since I only send like 6) honestly... no clue I wish I knew that way I could get the needed paperwork and send it right back to them!! but I will have to wait for the actual letter in the mail. It was sent the 24th so maybe tomorrow or saturday it will come... I just need to be patient. Dont worry about that.. my fiance is in the same boat! he didnt go to school since he was that age too.. I actually did my fiances GED over the computer to see if he could find a better job in costa rica, i got it notarized and validated for costa rica! I dont know if that will cause problems I have no idea! but we will see i guess.. I dont think there lack of schooling will have anything to do with their applications, it just proves that there were born to be good workers I will keep you posted about my RFE, and see what it is they are requesting. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	G-325A Occupation	Oh goodness. I see they made you wait 8 months for NOA2. =( Kind of silly that they say 5 months when it is nowhere near accurate. I'm really hoping mine goes quickly. I plan on sending 1-129F on Monday. I havent received my NOA2 they sent me a Request for Evidence yesterday! I have waiting almost 6 months for this RFE.. Now I am waiting to receive the actual letter in the mail to see what information is missing or what type of evidence needs to be sent. I hope that after i send back the needed documents I will get my NOA2 .. Best of luck to you and your fiance. Its a crazy long journey but it will be worth all in the end.
