It brought alot of pressure to our visits because we always had interviews or things we had to do or deliver to the Consulate. Hicham would get frustrated because he thought I should just march in there and demand that they do something. He had a hard time understanding that it just doesn't work that way. But at the same time, Hicham and I have learned to communicate on a level that I don't think we would have matured to had we not gone through this ordeal. We had to learn to talk things out because that's all we had. In the end, it's made our relationship much stronger and we will cherish being together again more than we did before. I had that problem when I used to live at home with my stepbrother who had athlete's foot.... get some tinactin & spray your feet & disinfect the bathroom... Plus, I saw on Oprah once that you can make a batch of really strong tea and when it's cool enough, you put her (or your) feet in it and soak them in dark tea. It will dry out the fungus or the stinky makers. It discolors your feet for a few days, too... so maybe do it on a friday or whenever she won't be embarassed by her brown feet. She tells me that Dubai is one of the most Western & English-friendly and liberal Arab countries. Living in Dubai can be very expensive, as others have said, but you should be able to manage it if your job is there. Good luck. Nagi, we both skipped work early to come home & stare at Mina's passport... could that be considered celebrating ? We should be going out soon with all of our friends to say goodbye & take lots of pics!! We won't quit our jobs until we get the tickets, but we will give them notice. Wow, charles... they are so friggin slow !! I guess that's what we have to look forward to . Mina has the CR-1.. the conditional visa.
