To make sure I understand, NVC sends you the package to your address (?) and then you bring it to the Consulate? Strange, because everyone here is contacted by the local Embassies with a request for packet 3 as a result of receiving the processed petition from NVC. Hello Alla & Justin!   I sent TSC an e-mail  at tsc.ncsfollowup@dhs.gov , I also e-mailed SCOPSSCATA@dhs.gov  I called USCIS at 1 (800) 375-5283  do not select any language or press anything after you call and they will transfer you to a representative in shortly.  Ask that rep to transfer you to a manager or Tier2.  If it is a long wait arrange with the system for a call back and they will eventually call you back. Explain what your situation is, that you never received the original approval notice and that you need the service center to mail it to you. It is necessary, so do not let them go over you.   Good luck with everything and keep us posted if any changes occur. Thank you very much, Loran! Hi Gotham10011,   are you using the booking as the proof for having met your fiance in the last two years, so just a proof of ongoing relationship? In the first case, I wouldn't think that it would work as a proof, in the second case, it would be ok I guess. You can stay in the US on B-2 visa before it expires and file I-129F while being in the US without any problems (that has been our case as well).  Just make sure you leave before it expires and go through K-1 visa interview when the petition is approved (I am sure it won't take any longer than 6 months) and then come back on K-1.	allajustin	Male	Moldova	2013-09-27 06:17:00
K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	visiting while on K-1 petition	The possibilities are very different for countries on VWP and those countries, which need a visa to visit short-term.  I was also denied a visa to visit my fiancé because our I129F was pending.  I clearly stated it on the interview, brought a letter from my employer, two-way airplane ticket, even a note from the hospital where my father was hospitalized to show strong ties to the country...and, alas, the verdict was: "it's against the law to visit the US" as I was seen by the law as "intending immigrant", which puts me in a higher risk group of infringing the law provisions.  Later, when I was thinking it over, isn't a K-1 guarantee that you will return home to complete the process you have started, paid the fees, and collected all the documents for it? There is no universal rule to relationships and their success.  Our love story began the same as yours, we met on Valentine's Day 2013, filed two months later in April, got K-1 in September, got married in November and expecting a baby since December Fast span within 10 months ha? I guess because of backlog, it was sent to the vermont center for processing, got our NOA1 no problem on june 10. We just got an update on 8 august 2013 that our file was sent to our "local" office that has jurisdiction. As far as I can tell, Texas isnt processing any k1's and it does not pop up on the drop down menu when checking processing times. Is it going to CSC or Dallas? Or do I need to call the uscis? Philippines	K visa	Yes both NSO and NBI deliver the documents to the embassy in those situations.   How old was your other CENOMAR?  Most times the embassy doesn't like them to be older than 6 months.   Now just a little more waiting for the new CENOMAR to be added to the file, then they do the final review and issue your visa. my requested a cenomar last feb this year. i think its more than 6 months already. my fiance already booked a ticket for me 1st week of next month.	rovs	Not Telling	Philippines	2013-09-25 12:55:00
