USCIS Service Centers	VSC complaint email address	Well yeah..i did forget about the actual visa fee at the interview..and If I sounded like I was bashing America, im sorry...I love our country and we are truly blessed, but it is this new "we the government knows whats best for you" that I dont like...its dadburn frustrating..I just hope someting will click a VSC and get the ball rolling..will filef in may and with a lot of jan filers not recieving noa2's yet, and dont even what to think about how long it COULD be before we hear anything..we all know that our money has probably already been spent by the government while we still sit here waiting..guess i just had to vent a little..i know before too long we will all be saying this wait was nothing at all..and it wont be anything compared to spending the rest of our lives with our loves. the waiting is not so tough..its just I know i cant afford another trip to Peru to be with my Raquel until our interview ..or at least it seems that way for now...but we'll make it. USCIS Service Centers	VSC complaint email address	WE THE PEOPLE do not have much of a say so in ANYTHING right now, due to our president. Has anyone not noticed the since obama has taken office, LEGAL IMMIGRATION has become more difficult and more expensive?? We can call all we want, but when we have a leader who doesnt care about us, the government doesnt really care ethier. Just tink about it for a minute...Ive only been waiting for almost 3 months now, but most have been waiting over their ususal waiting period...in the meantime our president has promised to help the Syrians in the US by giving the protected status so their visas will not expire and force them to have to leave and return to craziness in their country. You know, everytime Ive been to Peru to visit my fiancee, Ive been asked if We The People are really that stupid enough believe and vote for obama. Ive called our congressman about the tax hike he is wanting for my state here in Arkansas, and he tells me that he and the government know best. Sobhow in the heck are we supposed to get help from people like that?? We can complain all we want to, but We The People have been complaining for the past 4 year and no one in this government is listening. Best advice is to Pray and Keep Faith. They cant make us wait forever. But it should would feel amazingly Awesome to hold my Raquel my arms very soon. USCIS Service Centers	VSC complaint email address	I read somewhere here at vj that vsc is backlogged to to something with the problem with syria..something about the syrians with protected status..I dont know how true that is but maybe that is one reason..We filed in may..noa1 was may 15..our lawyer said we should here about the noa2 between oct 15 and nov 1...lawyer stated that if we do not here anything then he and his office has the power to make them get a move on with our case..I dont know about that but I hope Raquel and I dont have to find that out..hopefully things will start moving better for us all..i havent seen raquel since march 11 this year..i know that is only 4 months..but I dont have the funds for another trip to peru for a while..probably until our interview..this 4 months apart has been rough..our relationship and love is stronger than ever, but still, I miss being with her more than words can say..so I know you couples who have been waiting longer than us are suffering a lot too..we gotta keep each other positive..I try to look at it this way: this time apart is harder than anyone not in this process knows..but Raquel and I have each other for the rest of our lives and when we look back 20, 30, or 50 years from now..this waiting will only seem to have been a flash. ....Stay strong and keep faith!!!....... No worries..this happened to my fiancee and I in Jan..our interview was on the 28th..we sent the missing documents on the 29th....received at embassy on the 30th..then we waited one month for our visa...during this time I called and emailed the embassy and their response was that the yellow 221g forms were taking a little longer to process but everything was fine...when the visa and passport are sent back to your dhl location the new waybill number will appear under the first...just give it a few more weeks..everything should be fine	Mateo&Raquel	Male	Peru	2013-03-28 19:39:00

I don't know the exact date of our interview, but I do know it will pretty much be in January, and I will be attending with my fiancee. I need to know if we can pay the $240 Visa fee at the Embassy on the day of the interview, or is it mandatory to pay this fee online?? I know there is a way to pay online, but my fiancee has no way what-so-ever to pay for it online. Mexico, Latin & South America	Peru K1 Visa Interview	Thank you so much for all the replies! I was talking to Raquel this morning and she blieves that my Spanish is way more than well enough for our interview. She will still be practicing her English in the meantime. She works for Movil Tours as a terramoza(hostest on those huge 2 level buses). I don't like it. She hardly ever has time to rest good, with having to travel constantly. Tonight she has to leave at 7:30 for chiclayo wich is 13 hours from lima. Sometimes she has to go to cuzco, 23 hours away with riding a bus. And the drivers of Movil Tours have no care in the world for their passengers. The drink heavily all the time, yes, begore driving. Just last week, one of the drviers was drunk and went off a cliff, killing 3 and injuring 18 other. Thank God Raquel was not on that bus. So needless to say, she has enough stress with her job, so I told her to practice when she could, then I will work with her by phone and skype. She wants to leave movil tours right now, but I was laid off back in April, so she decided to stay there until I have landed a new job, which should be any day now. So please keep us in your prayers. Im Mateo and I am new here, and let me tell you, it is a breath of fresh air to be connected to more people going through the same process. Sometimes, when people ask me how the process is coming along and I start explaining, I get looked at like I am from another planet. Thank God for visajourney!!! Ok..to my question. Will it be required for my Peruvian Fiancee, Raquel, to speak in English at our interview? Our immigration attorney has mentioned that if Raquel cannot speak adaquate English, then we could be denied our visa. I speak well enough Spanish that I understand just about everything. I was in Peru with Raquel in 2010, lived with Raquel and her family for 2 months in 2011, was back again for 2 weeks feb 25, 2012 through March 11, 2012, and also made my way around Lima pretty well without much speaking help. Raquel and I are working on her English skills, but I don't know if it will be efficient enough by our interview time. Raquel is really nervous about that, but I told her we could do anything as long as we're together! ..We're still waiting for approval, but I am very confident and have great faith that we will be approved. We filed May 11, 2012 with VSC and recieved our NOA1 on May 15, 2012. The paralegal told us that we shouldn't expect to hear about our NOA2 until October 15..but could be around November. She said our interview would be anywhere between 30 to 60 days after approval. The last time I was with my Raquel was back in March for 2 weeks. We have been away from each other now for 4 months and I'm going stir crazy because I will not be able to be with her again until our interview. But I know this is definately worth the wait. We've been together now for 2 years and 8 months and engaged now 1 year and 8 months. ...We are already talking about possible baby names..hehe! Ahhh..sorry for talking so much..Im just excited. We were approved on the 28th of January...the consular told us that it would be 10 to 15 business days..still we have not received the passport back with my fiancee's visa..called the embassy last week and they told me that things were moving slower than normal, but that our case was complete and to call back this week to make sure that the visa and passport was sent out to dhl....they better get their act together..monday will be a month since our interview... US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Embassy in Tunisa	The attacks on our embassies had nothing to do with that video. Al Qaeda used the video as an escuse. These attacks were well planned out. Just a few days before the attacks, one of al qaeda's members put out a video asking muslims to retaliate and avenge the death of his brother, another al qaeda operative. The video that everyone is talking about was posted back in January. It is now September. If they are so hurt about this film, then why did they wait over 8 months to start complaining? I believe it was our "leaders" who started this one. All the bragging about killing osama bin laden has come back to bite the president in the butt. If that is not the case, then why were all the muslims who were climbing the walls of our embassies, and burning our flag, chanting, "WE ARE ALL OSAMAS, OBAMA..WE ARE ALL OSAMAS, OBAMA..." repeating over and over?? Don't get me wrong. I am NOT saying that the people of theses countries are all like that. Im just saying that they were stirred up by al qaeda. But one thing should always be remembered..AMERICA IS A FREE NATION..IF A MUSLIM WANTS TO COME TO AMERICA AND TRASH TALK CHRISTIANS,LIKE MYSELF, THEN THAT IS THEIR RIGHT OF FREE SPEECH..YOU DONT SEE REAL CHRISTIANS BURNING THE FLAG OF ILSAM AND KILLING MUSLIM PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY DONT AGREE WITH US... But what can I say, when you have "obama koolaide" drinkers on this site, you will probably be called a racist before its all said and done. Why don't some of you watch the news? Just last week, an employee for the USCIS, working at Vermont, resigned due to an on going investigation that discovered she, and others at USCIS, are using our hard earned money that we pay for these processes, and our tax dollars, for their own "sexual escapades." Also, Secretary of DHS, Janet Napolitano, stated in a press conference that the number one priority of the USCIS, right now, is protected status of Syrian nationals here in the US, and that other visa situations can and may be slowed down or halted for this. This is to protect the Syrians who are here, and not force them to go back to their own country when their visas expire, while they are in the midst of war. Well, I did some homework, and I have discovered that Vermont is the Center dealing with the Syrians. Also, secretary Napaoliatano was asked about other visa processes, dealing with US Citizens of family of, and her statement was as follows, and I quote: "I really don't care at the moment. We need to show Syria that we have their back and will help them in this time of desperation. President Obama gives me the power to do what I want to do. This is what I want to do, what America wants to do, and what I am Doing!" So those of you who are dogging the OP for blaming obama, you all need to get off his back and do your own research before ridiculing him. So OP, I have your back, and I completely understand and agree with you. You are not alone here. I hope and pray you will hear something soon. GOD BLESS!!! Also, I have had several Peruvians ask me why Bush cannot be President again...their economy was booming and their poverty rate was going down when Bush was in office. Now they are declining fast. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Vermont behind on K1 processing	I don't know how true it is, but I heard that VSC was backlogged due to them working on the "protected status" of syrians here in the US so they will not be forced to go back to their war torn country at the moment..if that is the case, I could understand why any syrian citizen wouldnt want to go back during the craziness over there...but c'mon..we are US CITIZENS and should be treated first..maybe that sounds selfish, i dont know..but I highly doubt they would put us before them if the shoe was on the other foot.....hopefully we'll see some steady action soon..hang in there guys..we can make it! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Vermont Behind Schedule on K1	I heard the backlog is due to VSC working on "protected status" of Syrian nationals here in the US...I don't how true that is, but Secretary of DHS Janet Napalitano did make a statement that the "protected Status" issue was going to be a first priority for the DHS..figures our own government would put us second to another country..and it just so happens that Vermont is the only center that is working on that issue...I know my fiancee and I have only been waiting 3 months now..but CSC has been approving May petitions already..and our NOA1 was May 15th...It sort of agitates me a little..but I'm sure that Vermont will start flowing better soon..I pray so at least. Every time I have needed to talk, they listen and talk with you. And the Paralegal Specialist, Yvonne, who is handling our case is one of the most sweetest persons to work with. I have to admitt, I have probably had some strange questions, but she always takes the time to talk with me and answer any questions we have. And if she can't talk by phone, she has never failed to reply by email. She has become more our friend than just a Paralegal Specialist to us. Also, Mr. Holmes himself did this very process, by himself, and afterwards wanted to help others in his shoes. They are very nice! His website is www.kvisas.com. The USCIS says that the will mail to a PO BOX, but that is a lie because the same thing has happened to me. My lawyer told me that the USCIS will not send mail to a po box..then I call the USCIS and they told me that they do..so I had them double look and they said I needed to update it..so all I did was tell them my po box again and what do you think happens? one week later they tell me that it can not be delivered and that my case is back in initial review..funny that because the embassy in Peru has already received our petition and has given us an interview date for january 28th...but the USCIS did send an official noa2 to my lawyer and in return she mailed it to me.. this is proof that the USCIS has NO CLUE of what they are doing and that they lie constantly. For me, I'm glad I had my lawyer...or I would have never received my noa2 paper nor have known that we were way passed that stage. its ridiculous that we, who are doing this process legally, are lied to and treated with so much disrespect from these people. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2012 Filers	Well, today marks our 5 months..I never expected our noa2 earlier or on time..from the get go our lawyer said it would be 5 1/2 to 6 months for the noa2..but i called our paralegal today just to see if there was any new news about vermont and she said that they received 2 approvals last week at their office for march 2 filers...im happy for them..she also said our approval "should" come about late november or early december..but she said that vermont and california will be slowing down even more in the next few weeks due to the holidays..that is understandable..but for peru, their interviews are usually 87 to 90 days after the noa2....so Raquel and I are looking at a possible 3 or 4 more months before our interview if the noa2 comes in november..We were kind of hoping for a Valentines Day wedding..but not too sure about that now :/..for now its just one day at a time..hope everyone else is holding up well.. Raquel has a friend whose docs went to csc and were approved in about 3 months. That was about 5 years ago though..but he told Raquel that I was lying about the wait time...Raquel knows how the process works now so its all good..but if I ever see that moonlizzard friend of hers, I have good mind to knock him on his backside for trying to pull that stunt..haha..dont know why I mentioned that..guess I wanted to vent haha...anyways..Vermont should speed up before too long..I see that both centers tend to have slow approval periods and then burst out with approvals, so we just have to keep faith and stay strong..as many of us mentioned before..once we get our noa2's this wait will have seemed like nothing..we'll be so excited that we'll forget all about it haha	Mateo&Raquel	Male	Peru	2012-08-12 09:32:00
